  1. A workaround could be to drive the elevation all the way down before landing.
  2. Sounds like a controller issue rather than a software issue. Try to clear all bindings and reassign to see if the problem consists.
  3. Turkey and Greece has been harassing each other for as long as I've been born. I'm 44. But apparently the guy with the radio voice just found out. I have no idea how old he is.
  4. The issue is that when you release your speed brake switch there is a center command issued on release that is tied with an animation. I think it's that animation you have to wait for. You will have the same issue if you use the retract/off keybind.

  6. It seems that there is an animation of the speed brake switch on the throttle that needs to finish before you can initiate next command.
  7. Was the switch animated before the last update?
  8. Weirdly enough I just noticed the same behaviour. But I have no idea if it was introduced with the latest patch. Could this be something synced to framerates?
  9. Try without using the paddle switch..
  10. Except IRL you always have full deflection available after trimming because trimming simply displaces the stick, Which is not what is happening in the sim unless you have an FFB stick. Since this is a wishlist thread I don't understand why we have to argue about something when you don't seem to get the point in the first place. It's an option for the F-5 that some clever dev decided could be a good idea, and I simply wish that it would be made an option for all A/C that requires manual trim. If you have the F-5 and fly with an ordinary spring centered stick I encourage you to try it out, so that you know what this is about. Otherwise this conversation is kind of pointless, sorry to say. And to repeat myself: You can try to jump in the MiG-29 or SU-27, trim full forward, pull up control overlay and watch what happens to your input when you pull the stick back. It will never reach the bottom of the Y-axis. Here is a different thread in the F-14 section for the very same option. It's worth a read. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=258198
  11. I know he is. Just wanted to point out what the issue is. Meant no disrespect.
  12. Sorry, but I don't get your point. This thread is about trimming in an A/C without FBW.
  13. Thanks. Are you using the same OB? For me this works everytime. If I return to MRM mode and then press pinkie then there's no prob.
  14. IRL the stick moves when trimming. your joystick doesn't do that unless it's FFB.
  15. No it isn't.. IRL the stick moves when you trim. That doesn't happen unless you have a FFB stick as a sim pilot. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4452726&postcount=5 try it out for yourself.
  16. You can try to jump in the MiG-29 or SU-27, trim full forward, pull up control overlay and watch what happens to your input when you pull the stick back. It will never reach the bottom of the Y-axis. As it is now trim offset your input Which means that if you enter a dogfight with any forward trim you can do less AoA than if you reset trim to zero.
  17. Did you see the track here? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4445045&postcount=13
  18. What the nonlinear option does is that it scales the virtual axis when you trim so full deflection of the real joystick always corresponds to full deflection in game. Which means that you always have full authority no matter where the virtual stick is trimmed. This is not the case now, where if you have any trim present you won't be able to reach the opposite extreme. If you have the F-5 module you can try it out after selecting nonlinear trim under the special tab in options.
  19. I would like to bump my own thread here two years later. :)
  20. Must have been unclear. I'm talking about non FFB sticks. Sorry. Cheers
  21. A pleasure to have you here for sure. Good to see you're doing well. I must have been unclear. This is a feature for non ffb sticks. I have a Virpil as well, great stick. The thing is, that you only have full deflection available in the cat when the virtual stick is trimmed to a certain point. Trim forward and you don't have full pull available, and vice versa. just with any A/C in DCS except F-5, which scales the axis when you have trimmed out of center. That way full deflection of your joystick always corresponds to full deflection in game. Sounds counter intuitive, but really isn't. Cheers
