  1. Still I managed to take a clean A to 2.45M after some zoom climbs. But loaded up it doesn't seem to move. Still awesome to fly though. Good to hear it has been fixed, that will just make it more awesome. :)
  2. After one revolution of the pointer it should AFAIK show a '1', but it doesn't ATM. Maybe I'm stating the obvious..
  3. After yesterdays patch, AIM-9 drag seems to have been decreased. Now the F-5 doesn't drop the wing with the remaining sidewinder after firing one anymore. Much more controlable now even at high AoA. Thanks a lot!
  4. You'd have to get an answer from ED for this. I guess it's an old idea from the lomac or flanker x.x days, where the FM was different and you will with this system not have to trim the russian birds. But I don't know. IMHO using keys to control an A/C in a flightsim got obsolete with the introduction of analog joysticks.
  5. Engines are not fed directly from the external tanks. External fuel is pumped to internal tanks. As to why you shouldn't engage external fuel until airborne I seem to remember that it's a safety thing. IIRC it's in the manual somewhere.
  6. https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/englis...itor-by-bailey This one is better. Same guy made a mod to change CMS inside of DCS, but I haven't tried it.
  7. Yeah. Forgot about that one. I got all of my controllers in the same USB hub which has a power switch. Powering it up after boot does the trick too.
  8. Unplug and replug controllers. Should fix the issue. It's a long standing issue that sometimes happens after a regular boot up too.
  9. From my experience #1 connects to left, #2 connects right. If you send your wingie first you will connect to the right.
  10. @Ramsay Even if you equip 4 Harpoons and tick unlimited ammo you still have a hard time even scoring a hit against a single destroyer. One Walleye will sink it, but it's a pain to operate. @AvroLanc It's a cheaty workaround for a missile that doesn't work like it supposedly should. :)
  11. That's just the limitation you have with certain kinds of hardware. In the case of the MiG-29 this limitation is very noticeable at high mach, so we can only hope that ED will make a nonlinear or scaled option for the rest of the non fbw A/C. The problem with the scaled/non linear option is that if you trim forward the other direction will feel more sensitive and vice versa, but from my experience in the F-5, this is not too much of an issue somehow. At least the stick limits always correlate no matter how you have trimmed.
  12. Fuel flow would be a better way to judge if A/B's are lit or not.
  13. ..And this is how you do that:
  14. IRL yes or if you have a ffb stick it will work like this. You will also notice that when you trim down/forward you only have to push your joystick half way forward before you reach ingame limits. It's the same for all A/C in DCS if you haven't noticed. Except the F-5 which have a nonlinear option in the specials tab.
  15. That's just how trim work. It displaces virtual stick. Above Mach 1 you have trimmed forward, so you need to trim back or reset. Could be nice if they made a nonlinear trim option like for the F-5.
  16. Is there a way to home it or at least see where it went off to when driven outside FOV?
  17. If launched at 500" they will cruise at that altitude regardles of the profile. Not saying what is right and wrong. Just saying that there is a way around it. They still get shot down though.
  18. L_ALT+y in F10 view will change the format of the F10 map, if I'm not mistaken.
  19. ^^This^^ I'm on TIR and never seen this as an issue. The HUD is front of your head so you just need to raise the default view to match this.
  20. Reposition your head position to look straight and save it pressing R_ALT + keypad 0. It's a pretty easy fix.
  21. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought they were somewhat related. Reading again I understand they are not. Actually i don't know if it makes a difference whether or not you have a designated target before entering guns mode. Don't know if I ever checked it. Should be easy to check, but I'm away from home these days, so I can't.
  22. Here it is: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=282041&highlight=radar+axis I wrote the steps to reliable reproduce, but they couldnt. Another one here is reported though. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=265518&highlight=radar+axis
