  1. Yes, note the "etc."
  2. We don't have one priority, we have several teams focusing on different projects: Hornet, Viper, Super Carrier, dynamic campaign, MAC, etc.
  3. While some art initially started years ago, we had to throw out that initial work out due to changes in the engine and staffing. The project re-started from scratch with art starting in October of last year, and flight model and systems starting in April of this year. As you can see, progress has been rapid, to say the least. Thanks
  4. CCIP and CCRP bombing.

  7. It's a bit dark of course, but I thought some of you might like to see the work-in-progress night lighting of the cockpit. This image has console and instrument lights on, as well as the flood lights. I am also running an indicator and VMU test. Thanks
  8. Yes, already in. Thanks
  9. Walleye. Thanks
  10. What he said... And the probe heat is not turned on until shortly before takeoff to keep it from over-heating.
  11. It depends on the braking force. Thanks
  12. I simply used an existing Red Flag mission as the basis for the video, nothing to read into it. Thanks
  13. That is not true, at least for the version we are modeling, based on several sources. Thanks
  14. DCS: F-16C Viper - Taxi and Takeoff In this DCS: F-16C Viper video, we'll take a look at how to taxi and takeoff in the F-16C Viper. This is from a pre-release build and is very much work-in-progress. We plan to release the Early Access version in early Autumn 2019. Pre-order now and save 20% on our e-Shop at: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/viper/ Or, Steam at: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1090850/DCS_F16C_Viper/
  15. Top left corner.
  16. No, I just made several landings and used my best one. Even then, it was rather sloppy: 1- Not holding G and altitude constant in the pitch out. 2- Was under G in the pitch out, and this led to me floating out and being offset too far from the runway in the downwind. As you'll see, it takes practice and have to break Hornet landing habits. Here are some real world reference videos:
  17. Thanks! The flight model is feeling very much like the Full Mission Training (FMT) I had the pleasure to fly a few weeks ago.
  18. DCS: F-16C Viper - Overhead Break Landing Intro DCS: F-16C Viper - Overhead Break Landing Intro In this DCS: F-16C Viper video, we'll take a look at the basics of landing the Viper in a Visual Flight Rules (VFR) overhead break pattern. This is from a pre-release build and is very much work-in-progress. We plan to release the Early Access version in early Autumn 2019. Our Viper is currently in development and will be released into early access later this year. In the meantime, you can pre-order now and save 20%: DCS e-Shop: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/viper/ Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1090850/DCS_F16C_Viper/
  19. The taxi, takeoff, and steerpoint nav video will be "soon". We just needed to add and adjust a few items before I can create the video. In many ways, these videos are a good tool for us to review and debug the product! After this video will be an VFR overhead break landing video. Thanks
  20. Taxi and takeoff next. The cold start will probably be the last before early access release given the number of sub-systems it much account for. Thanks

    Targeting pod

As mentioned earlier, we will start with the Litening, and if time and open source data allow, we'll look into the Sniper. Thanks
  22. I'm not being paid for this, but I do recommend the FSSB by Realsimulator. After time in an F-16C Full Mission Trainer (FMT), the FSSB feels just like the real thing. Thanks
  23. I never said "might come". I said we'll talk about it in a later video.
