  1. Correct Kazius. In fact, this sneaked in earlier than I expected. I'll create a video of muti-target missions (MSN) this weekend. Thanks

We are looking into why the MSI for LTWS was not merged into the OB today. Thanks

    Update

Simply the test team wanted more time to test it and decided to delay it a bit. This happened after my earlier statement. As for MSI, we are looking into it now. We are unclear why it was not integrated. Thanks
  5. Yes, and if I remember correctly, most often used for weapons school classes in regards to air-to-air. Thanks
  6. Yes, a new AGM-88 HARM model was added, and a new AGM-154A/C JSOW model will be coming soon (already done and in internal build). Thanks
  7. A loft shot requires a known range, to which SP and TOO do not provide. Only PB mode has a known target range. Thanks
  8. HARM loft is a function of PB mode, which is coming later. Thanks

    Update

Partly true. While we will be happy to talk about upcoming features, we may need to hold back on our best projected release dates for versions. These are always our best estimates, but they do not take into account stubborn bugs that need to get worked out. While most clients get this, a vocal minority don't and they can get rather abrasive. Thanks

    Update

No, the two are not related. Thanks

    Update

It is still in work. While it is working well for some, it is not working well for others. We are trying to get to the bottom of this inconsistency. Thanks

    Update

Hey everyone, We are still working on a number of blocking bugs for the next Open Beta and that we need to resolve them before release. We don't have a specific day or time, but the team is working very hard to have the Open Beta cleaned up for a release as soon as possible. When we know more, myself or Nineline will be sure to let you know. Thanks

    Update

Already fixed for the next update. Thanks
  14. That is old text that has since been updated. Thanks
  15. DCS: F/A-18C Hornet - Upcoming AGM-154A JSOW, MSI for LTWS, and PRECISE Mode THIS IS REGARDING THE NEXT OPEN BETA that will feature the AGM-154A JSOW, Multi-Sensor Integration (MSI) for Latent Track While Scan (LTWS) mode, and an explanation of HSI PRECISE coordinate entry that is currently available. Other Hornet items in work include the Litening targeting pod, Harpoon anti-ship mode, INS and GPS full simulation and alignment, dynamic launch zones for JDAM and JSOW, and initial work on the air-to-ground radar. Thanks

    Update

We don't know yet. In testing the new OB we found some blocking bugs that we need to squash first. The team has been busy on this matter all day. We'll still try to release the OB today, but it might have to be pushed back a bit depending on the state of the OB. Thanks

    Update

Correct. I'll see if I can do an AGM-154A and MSI for LTWS video today. Thanks
  18. The Warthog throttle is not the only throttle with a slew axis controller that can have difficulty with a slew and button press at the same time. This is exactly why we added the other slew option. Thanks
  19. As NL indicated, there has been no change. The engineer that works in such items has been very busy on other areas the past couple of months. Thanks
  20. Hey Lex, This is something we are developing in support of Modern Air Combat. We are using DCS as a test platform. Thanks
  21. What a wonderful experience! The highlight of the show was meeting many of you, or clients, and getting to hear your feedback on our product. It was great to put some faces to user names and hearing what DCS World means to you. Some of the stores were quite inspirational. Another aspect was meeting with Thrustmaster to discuss what comes after the F-16C and talks with companies like A2A and Orbx about potential cooperation. Skies the limit! For those that made the show, thanks again for all the kind words and your continued support. We cannot do this without you. - Wags
  22. I hope to have a Case III radio communications instruction video next week. We are just cleaning up a few remaining items. In next week's newsletter, we will have a little look at some of the deck crew animations. Thanks

  24. I'll try to create an instruction video next week. Thanks
  25. It really is a great product that I highly recommend. Not just for the Hornet of course, but also a great choice for the AV-8B and the upcoming F-15E. Thanks
