So a quick overview of the testing ive done with the R-27/77s. Feel free to comment with testing of your own. So for straight line flyout, the R-27s are unchanged, while the R-77 is about 10-15% better than before. Also, the R-77 motor burn time was reduced by 1 second to 5.1 sec, but thrust was increased from 22kN to 27kN Lift has been increased for both, but moreso on the 27 and it is quite impressive close in compared to before. Heres a vid with the current R-77 (the first launched) and the current ET. Shots are roughly at 2nm vs a MiG-29 crossing right to left at mach 1.2: For comparison heres one with the AIM-120(both B and C): And heres one comparing the R-77 to the R-73: I havent yet tested bleed rate but id expect it to be reduced by quite a bit.

The MAR for the S530 is nowhere near that far at any alt (unless maybe at like 50k and M2+). EDIT also attentive pilots will notice the lack of smoke trail as well

Yep thats the thing I cant seem to consistently reproduce it. Its 100% a bug, but its very intermittent, and I as of yet cant find a pattern to it.

Were these tests simgleplayer or MP? If so, missiles on the old chaff model (SD-10, AIM-54, R-77) have much worse ccm resistance in SP. You saw this with the old 120s, they were super easy to chaff in SP, but the new chaff model fixed that for them, and now its the same SP and MP.

Just my 2c but I think 99% of players will encounter this and legit think the JF STT locked them, I dont think they would be aware that the JF is actually in TWS. I really dont think this is an issue of people noticing and not reporting just to gain an advantage. Youd need a squadron environment (specifically a squad that flys the JF a lot) with constant missile testing to really specifically notice this, nothing like on an aiqruake server.

Nobody is interested in what you think is "key", its a simple yes/no answer that your track already answered: you overrode LA, so obviously the missile will fly straight until it finds something. Its not meant to be overridden IRL.

Raero is 53nm at alt, you said the shot was 34nm so kinematically this is well within range. The issue is the seeker which should cap it to around 25nm in this secnario (DCS MiG-21 has an RCS of 3m^2), but dcs doesnt model SARH seeker limits afaik. As for the battery life, thats really odd, in the files its supposed to be 75 sec.
