  1. Did you check your keybindings? Because fixing targets worked for me last week on OB.
  2. Thanks for all the links! Looks like they had pretty ambitious plans. So, Heatblur has nothing to announce as far as maps are concerned, but it is not a dead project either. Good to hear that.
  3. Link? Flying the Viggen over the Baltic sea would be awesome btw!
  4. Thanks, time to jump back into the Harrier!
  5. In what way is it not working at the moment? Last time I checked I could do SPA/MAL and SPA/SKU. Something that was not working was deleting erroneous fixes (using the rensa button). I haven't checked if that was fixed lately though.
  6. Indeed: "The two knobs control each of the three off the digits and each knob has a inner and an outer section. The inner section of the left knob controls the first two digits (21), and the outer the last (7). The inner right knob changes the first digit (2), and the outer the last digits (50) in increments of 25." How could I have missed it ...
  7. I finally figured it out. The two frequency dials actually consist of two separate dials, sort of on top of each other (don't really know how to describe this). So effectively you have to turn four dials. In the past I only used the two "top" dials as I was not aware of the dials that are close to the panel. Don't tell me it was all described in the manual ...
  8. I was expecting the forum to explode about that teaser, but nothing... Maybe people did not watch the last few seconds of the movie?
  9. At low level it is Mach 0.55, for other altitudes you can consult the table on page 173 of the manual. Range is 1700 km or 2100 km depending on the presence of an external fuel tank. This probably holds for a higher altitude though. Also, I never ever get this far ...
  10. Yeah, not being able to talk to Gudauta is killing me! :) Btw, can you use manual frequency setting for Gudauta? I do not seem to get that to work.
  11. If you want to go EMCON all the way, you can turn off the RHM (somewhere on the right panel in the neighborhood of the oxygen switch). I tried to say that switching to barometric would probably not switch of the RHM, because: 1. It would also disable the height warning function. The latter should be based on RHM always as barometric altitude does not give height above ground in hills. 2. It would disable TERNAV and you would stop getting automatic NAV fixes. Both are a pretty high price to pay for just wanting to see barometric altitude on the HUD. Therefore I concluded that RHM will remain on and thus transmitting. Using the RHM switch should do it though ...
  12. I think it will have to emit for the TERNAV to work (barometric alt is useless for that) and also for altitude warnings to work. Should not be too hard to check.
  13. You mean: I am sure. ;) Only the radar altimeter is needed. Although currently turning of the RHM does not disable the TERNAV system. The RHM points downward, while the PS37 is located in the nose, really two completely different systems.
  14. Perhaps you are below the safety altitude?
  15. Are you running stable or open beta? It still works for me in the open beta version ...
  16. Actually, with the new radar implementation you can even see the electricity masts. I have also spotted vehicles (tanks, artillery, etc.), but they weren't statics though.
  17. Good to know, thank for letting us know!
  18. It's possible, but the missions are really aimed at Viggen specific stuff. The formation flying mission would make sense though. In these missions you receive feedback on how well you are doing, that's useful for other planes as well.
  19. Thanks, let us hope you return to the Viggen soon!
  20. I've released version 1.1.0 of the quick training missions. It contains a few new missions (time on target practice and waypoint boundaries practice) and several bug fixes.
  21. I've tried your mission and I observe the same behavior. But ... in my own terrain avoidance mission I see different behavior, the TAM seems to work fine. I did find out the following: Fly level. Turn on the PPI (A1). Enable TAM. Wait a few scans. Switch to AKAN JAKT on the weapon selector. Wait a few scans. Switch out of AKAN JAKT. So, what happened? When you switch to AKAN JAKT the antenna elevation changed and the PPI went a solid light green, i.e. almost no returns. If you switch out of AKAN JAKT, the PPI showed returns of hill sides again. It seems that switching to AKAN JAKT changes the antenna elevation (I think this is how it should be). So this might interfere with your findings, wouldn't it? You could try a different mission, I have tried the terrain avoidance mission from: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302241/ (2 Navigation - M04 Terrain Avoidance) P.S.: I have also observed some quirky behavior with active pause. Often, if I go out of active pause the Viggen violently pitches up. Some I wonder if the internal Viggens attitude corresponds to the way the Viggen is displayed on the screen. This could be a thing ...
  22. Thanks!
  23. How should it be working? Last time I checked, the steering commands led me directly towards the target and not to some offset.
