  1. ^^ +1
  2. Actually it has a manual and quite good I might say... Overall very nice add on. Took me back to DCS after more than year FSXing ;)
  3. Never thought MiG-21 will be such fun to fly and master... Leatherneck guys, thank you for the outstanding job..
  4. I'll join the party here with the same issue. Flew the ARK training and although all switches were correctly configured, I flew allover the place trying to find the mystical ARK with no success... The ARK needle sticks to one direction and stays there until out of range. Turned around, flew in the direction of the needle, same story... Since others have it, there is some issue. Perhaps worth further checking
  5. YES To the MiG-23 that is ;)
  6. Put it this way... out of all 3rd party craft that are/being developed. F-4E would be the first one I'm definitely buying...
  7. Hello team. I am still trying to go through the error message unfortunately with no avail. Any help?
  8. Still no joy...
  9. Guys, thanks for the input. Unfortunatelly neither disabling AV nor assigning permissions to the dcs_updater.exe did the trick. Still getting the same error
  10. Hello! I've tried the update but I'm getting the following error message: Anyone know way around this?
  11. The Mirage looks absolutely cool! Would love to have this jet in DCS...
  12. Air America!... Now we need a Laos/Vietnam map.. And some good C123 module ;)
  13. Nice.. Been waiting for this update to come.
  14. INTRUDE-E-E-ER! It's time to go turn some forests into toothpicks... ;)
  15. Wow, that looks interesting. I bet this has a potential to push the community into airshow type multilayer sessions. I know I would give it a try! Any chance for a cockpit peek?
  16. ...I.....need..... .... .... R..W.. ..R
  17. Dual seater combat jet in SP? The concept has been done before. I used to fly the Microprose F-15 Strike Eagle III over Iraq for long hours. And switching between the two cockpits was part of the gameplay as I recall.
  18. Su-25T has to become "clickable". Then I wouldn't mind paying for it. And only then our A-A kills will start multiplying...
  19. How about flying the tree tops and use the terrain masking (as the Hog was originally designed to do)?
  20. Actually I was looking forward for something with an afterburner(s)...
  21. My biggest problem was matching the speed. After some practicing I figured that the best habit would be to match some points on the tanker with the cockpit frame and stay in position no matter what. Same time keep an eye on the color of the boom. Try to anticipate the changes in the position and react accordingly with the throttle. As this is jet plane it takes a second of the engines to move the whole thing. Hence you need to be a second of two ahead of it. Of course as already mentioned every control move over a "millimeter" would result in disconnect. Good luck!
  22. I can confirm the ground turbulence with dynamic weather. The other day I had three dramatic takeoffs in 15-20 degrees offside wind. Shouldn't be a problem I tought but at 80 knots the A10 made a sudden jolt to the side and almost stood on its nose. Managed to take off at stall speed and a blown tyre. The next two were nearly the same. After several tries of the weather randomizer button in the mission editor I managed to get a almost flyable conditions. Throughout the flight below 500 feet the turbulence was also severe. The attack run with the cannon had to be with 20-30 degrees nose offside the target. Weird...
  23. Add on chocks would be a very nice touch to the problem discussed in this thread. I've noticed that every time I use weather in the mission the plane starts moving during the engines start. Toggle chocks seems like easy solution...
  24. Can not agree more.. Considering where I live and the fact that on this map there must be local airbases @ Abu Dhabi and Dubai to send the strike packages towards the republic..
  25. Following the latest events it seems more and more appropriate to have a new A-10 scene of action on the North African coast... http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/03/19/libya.civil.war/index.html?hpt=T1&iref=BN1 Yeah, yeah, I know it is mostly France and UK call on this one but US is moving in too.
