My honest review: It's pretty dull. Even the PG map is more exhilarating than this. I had my hopes up but now I'm kind of disappointed.

Amazing job, you really are the wizard. ED should really look these since if one man can make so big changes in few days, what could ED's actual coders do with proper licences. Apparently these poor effects happen on all maps.

Tried it with Su-25T in Caucasus. Managed to get some dust in the air, water was not so successful. test.trk

Basically F-14 traps everytime on my attemps, whether it is the 1st wire or the last. F-18 is much harder due to the bouncing hook trap model.

This whole Taz1004's improvement project gave me an idea which has bothered me for a while. Is there any way to improve the jet wash effect on ground? I mean that dust and water spray which comes from the engines when aircraft pulls hard up on very low altitudes, creating dust clouds etc on ground. Currently it's mostly very weak and doesn't work at all on certain surfaces and aircrafts.

+1 Happens here too. Even without external view. Usually 1-2 bangs and fire and smoke results DCS crash.

I would not call it just eye candy. Just by sitting in the cockpit and checking all the control surfaces makes a whole difference if you see damage, like missing stab or finn. To talk about wingman performing check.

Great campaign but I wonder how come there are so strong winds all the time? And the weather is pretty static through out all the mission.

I've flown hundreds of hours with F-14 and got hit with tons of SAM's and almost every hit does damage, most of the time severe damage. I don't know how the hell they got 14 hits. Still, I don't say that the current damage model is good. Far from it. Death spin sucks and most of the external damage is poor.
