Hey ED, how about fixing those carrier issues with F-14? Cat launches are still messed up and AI can't launch or land. It's been like this over a month now. Can't really blame Heatblur for this.

+1 You said it. The module itself is superb but these missing things that are ignored are hard to ignore.

Based on recents events, I'm not really keeping my hopes up. The whole game is such a mess.

IronMike hasn't said anything for a month now. HB has been pretty quiet about everything lately.

Just my opinion but it's pretty shitty PR for discussing modules updates and features on reddit, instead on the actual forum of the game itself. It's been pretty silent on there threads for HB's behalf.

No improvements after the latest patch.

Come on, carrier ops are still bugged. :doh: I guess it's time to shelve this game until summer. Maybe it then works since it takes months to make it somewhat playable after supercarrier release.

Pretty much same here. Old 3770k with 16gb ram and SSD on both Windows and DCS. From the menu it loads as usual but startup is at least twice as slow than before 2.5.6.

+1 There really isn't any excuse for this. It's been almost a year now and they look awful. Thank god there is a mod for this. It just breaks IC.

Has anyone made any progress? Mine takes about 1,5 minutes to get to main menu. Splash screen itself takes over a minute. Someone tried deleting the whole game and reinstalling? Done the usual deleting fxo and metashaders etc. dozens of times and no luck. Pretty annoyed since before the 2.5.6 patch it took two times less the time.

Pretty hard to enjoy the game with these bugs. It's pretty overwhelming that the carrier ops have been broken for week now and still no hot fix for that. Make it work before you release this stuff. Little bugs are expected but not this kind of issues.

It's a common bug at the moment, If you haven't noticed by looking at rage in this page or the bug section.

With this success rate that ED has these days, I wouldn't bet my money that the Super Carrier will work at all for the first six months.

There's nothing that indicates new audio engine whatsoever. I'm pretty sure ED would have hinted that on their 2020 video.

Tried that first thing. Doesn't work here.
