    This thing feels like it was made for VR. Just as expected. I have to say that I use a quiet powerful machine (RTX3090 + Valve Index) What I have experienced so far during my first simple flights in SP is an absolute blast and this does not even come close. Absolutely worth investing in hardware, especially controls!

  3. easy one mate! LOOK UP! I'm sure your WP's are not set to ground level. So you have to look somewhere into the sky. Set them to ground level in ME and you're good to go!
  4. It's quiet some time, but I'm sure there was at least one ECM pod available for the Viper at EA. Where is it gone? Can't load it anymore...
  5. I got back to the Viper after first testing it after early access. When using the CBU-97 in CCIP I have to dive with 60° nose down in order to make the horizontal line disappear and pickle the bombs. When I lock the target with the CCIP reticle and hold weapon release for a CCRP drop the bombs always drop to late and land behind the target. CCRP with a pre planned SPI works well!
  6. One time I had those radio messages after take off from the carrier as described above. (a liberation campaign mission #1) I can't sort out why it's not showing up after every cat launch. Of course I'm on the right frequency. Any thoughts?
  7. I hopped back into the hornet after a long time. I'm missing the possibility to mount a single AIM 120 under the wing without the double rail launcher. Is it a bug after a patch or intended to be this way?

  10. I wonder how ED will simulate this and if it's possible to have the PNVS (IR-Vision for the Pilot) on the right eye only So you can use the left one for managing the cockpit instruments. If this has been already asked I'm sorry. But pleeese tell me it will be like that!
  11. Guys, it's so easy... First of all I copied the KA-50 campaign folder to the Mi-24 mission Folder. Start the campaign and in briefing open the flight planner. There you can see the filename of the first mission in the lower left corner.. Some time ago the ME opened the last loaded mission automatically. Now you have to do it like this. Go to the mission editor and open that file. Look for your player flight and change it to Mi-24P, set your weapon loadout, save and you're done! Want to fly the campaign in MP? Simply set the player flight and his wingman to client. I know there are a lot of guys who never touch the ME for some reason. That makes the DCS world so much smaller for them... Changing the aircraft type in an existing mission, or the weather or the starting time is a matter of a few clicks!!!

  13. I just tried this old one with the Hind and had a very exciting offensive CAS. In fact it was more "CAS" than ever before with this ugly beast. no hovering and scanning for targets but going in circle by circle and throwing ATGM's at those T72's while our comrades T80's advanced on their position right under me. Give it a try!
  14. virpil's collective is already preordered. but what will make you really fly a helicopter is some kind of cyclic and anti-totque pedals. At the moment I got my virpil base on the ground with about 30cm extension and the TM hornet grip + TM pendular rudder. It works quiet well, but I keep visiting the komodo website these days...

  17. You won't see me a long time on the SC deck, I guess... It's so much freaking fun to maneuver this tank between trees and buildings. Would not be half the fun in 2D. Regarding the upcoming Apache I even consider a very expensive heli-cyclic and some anti-torque pedals. I still fight myself to not buy, but it will be a hopeless battle.
  18. Right, this thing lets you limit the travel of the collective. The tension can be adjusted by the motocycle damper in it. My stick base is Virpil's "VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base".

  21. Just noticed this when starting a Liberation campaign against Iran. They lost some A's that way on mission start.
  22. Right mate. I realized this just after my post. This stuff is so awesome. Had to mention it once more!:worthy: Anybody can help me with this? How can I set up the campaign to force my mates to carry sparrows instead of amraams without using the ME? I choosed US1990 and time period cold war 1985. The default CAP loadout for hornets and vipers are aim-120's. Shouldn't the period limit the available weapons? I'm really into those FOX-1's the last time. Love to see the smoke trails in the sky I guess...
  23. Just tried this one out. MAN, what a blast... Just had my first Syria Flight and was able to defeat a huge enemy strike package with sparrows and 9ners. I was absolutely impressed by the "DCE"... But this stuff takes DCS to another level. I have one problem right now: AI Flights are not created when starting on carrier/LHA. Played around with ToT settings but no joy. In my very first attempt I saw 6 14B's taxing to the cats and taking off right infront of me. If there is a BARCAP flight of 14's from and over the carrier with ToT ASAP it should spawn and launch at mission start or am I wrong? Please HELP, got some serios conflicts going on there...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
