[MISSING F10 VIEW OF DAMAGE] mk82 snake eye bombing

I experienced the same during the Single Mission: Island Style My MK-82's didn't do any damadge to those silkworm launchers and those hits were really close. Had the feeling that it got easier to kill vehicles with the 500 pounders. In the 18 and AV8 I killed a MBT wit a 500 pound bomb in 70-80% I would estimate. Anyway, the blast effect of bombs is and was always a problem in DCS. When I played with the CAT and her LANTIRN, I dropped a GBU-10 on one of those tripple fuel tank batteries near the parking position of an iranian airfield. Only the one in the middle which suffered a direct hit of this 2000 pound bomb was destroyed. The two on the left and right were ok. No matter that they were standing directly in the crater! lol -
Yesterday I tried a CCIP dive attack on some tanks on the caucasus map. No matter what dive angle or altitude I used to deliver the bombs, the horizontal bar on the bomb fall line which tells you how far the CCIP is under your hud never reaches the bottom of the HUD for your impact point to become accurate. -> No bomb is released! Had to drop them in CCRP which works fine!

TGP won't stay stabilized / area track or point track

I was in A/G and CCRP and the TGP was SOI! As I mentioned I was able to drop some GBU-12 and scored some hits by manually holding the target in the crosshair. -
Hi there, didn't have much time to play with the viper, but yesterday I wanted to give the pod a try. I searched but could not find anythng so far. Hope it has not been reported yet. I experienced the following (with TGP as SOI): -The pod did not enter area track or point track mode and was not able to fully stabalize on the SPI. The cross was always slightly moving and absolutely not focused on the SPI. -TMS UP did nothing! -The cross was changing it's shape rapidly all the time -TMS RIGHT LONG changed the cross to the "MARK-Point" cross. I did not manage to change it back again I was able to score a few hits but had to manually slew the cross to stay on target until impact. Anybody else?:huh:

had this problem too. month ago. As I know this was a radar bug. Didn't experienced it again. I'm back in the hornet for few days now. Had to play with my kitten :megalol: -

Hi there, yesterday I attacked an EWR site on the iranian coast line with J-84's. It consisted of an EWR unit, and 3 static buildings: 2 bunkers and a kind of radio tower. I started to observe the target area from far away at angels 25. Was able to see this big EWR radar from far away. The static opjects near the radar were invisible until I got much closer. Suddenly they appeared on the FLIR screen as I was closing in. I can remember such behavior from Flaming cliffs 1. Experienced similar things in the SU25T. Hope this has not been reported before. Seems to be a really heavy bug. Please get that fixed! however, the Iranians in this area are blind now.:thumbup:

Nothing to add Sir! Those constant missile call outs by Jester make it very very hard to survive on the battlefield. In MP nearly impossible! They really need to fix that. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I can imagine that ED tries to solve the Stennis problems by creating the new Nimitz from scratch. I consider the Stennis as a kind of prototype which lags all the features ED has planed for their carrier. It was "thrown" in because the hornet and the cat need a home! So it should make sense to create something new with all features completed AND WORKING. After that they know what to look for and it should be easier to ""repair" the stennis. After all, I'm sure these guys know what to do after decades in the buis! -

Choosing the cats for several aircrafts is a pain in the a** even in singleplayer. Don't know why, but you always have to double check the intended catapult 10 times and after one klick on the flight it switches back to any other catapult or most cases to cat 1 I think. Few days ago I hostet a two player flight. Was not able to select the client's catapult. He always launched from cat one! Don't know if it's already fixed, but F-14B's (AI) spawn on parking position with their wings fully extended. As soon as Number 1 taxis, it ripped of his left wing cause of number 2! :cry: -
Was the first real war for me and won't be the last! After a long startup in the Kitten I was little late at the party. So it doesn't took long for me to catch 2 missiles wich looked really cool! :lol::thumbup: BTW: The skin was just the right one for a multiplayer nugget! :megalol: For some reason I was not able to join the fight again. After klicking fly I crashed to desktop several times, even after reboot. Sad to hear that you guys had a server crash afterwards. No matter what, you guys around this REAL WAR THING make an awesome job!!! Keep it up! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

The mod works great on the NTTR... But no joy on the caucasus map. The coordinates given by the JTAC seem to be way of target. Several 100 to 1000 miles Cant wait for the option to enter MGRS coordinates into the bug. and the target pod of Course. We really really Need those, ED!

...had the same problem. There is a Power ON switch right above the ECM Mode Selector. (black buttons, the most right of them turns the RWR on!)

The TGP spin around always occured while I tested it... I really CAN'T wait until we're able to observe and mark our own targets with the laser. Something I really wanted a long time: Precision bombing with a plane that has a little (or much) more thrust than the HOG DCS really needs this! :thumbup:

I have a quiet hard time to hit something with the mk20. With the MK82's in CCIP and a solid cross there's no problem at all. The 20's usually fall behind the target... Does the CCIP cross of the mk20 ever get solid? Think I didn't see that yet?!?

Yeah, I think you're right mate! It seems that nothing else but practicing STOL/VTOL makes sense at this point! But I'm sure RAZBAM will fix that all pretty soon.:thumbup:

He can do it: He has a marker on the hud after aiming those Flankers with his TGP (9:40) But he can slew the pod while it shows TDC on the right, wich I can't. (only works in HTS mode) Or is that because of another version of the module? He flies over Nevada...

HTS mode seem to work. I can slew the pod now! :thumbup: But how can I get a target lock? Or how do I get a marker of the TGP target on the hud? It only appears on hud while slewing the pod!

a step py step guide would be really nice! let's say you start in nav-mode and can see a target area on the hud. what dou you have to do from now on..?

Hi, I really need a little "how to" TGP. I know it's not fully functional yet, but I'm simply not able to use it to spot targets. Can anybody describe what buttons I need to lock a target and how to slew around? There is a youtube vid (SU27 in a row) but that does not held me much. Thanks mates!:thumbup:
