Yes, I have checked it, and the others like the Su-30 AI model are not listed or mentioned.
-
They could have focused on just one late model and not overtaxed themselves. We already know its going to take 2-3 years for just for one module and this Mirage F-1 is not a trainer module unlike the C-101. So, I guess its going to take even much longer with 2 on the pipeline.

Its kind of strange to see gimped out AI models along with current spec models. I mean, the current AI models like F-14A, Su-30, F-4E and the S-3B Viking etc...needs updating. Their updates are long overdue... There seem to be no news of updates on it in the DCS roadmap plan so far.

Yes, it has seen operations recently. I don't know if it is doable coz its still in very regular service. I honestly forgot about the AMX in last minute of posting...:hehe: Yes, I am interested in the AMX... Most of the list I included are either retired or VERY limited service. Also not much secrecy hurdle. I could have included the Mig 25 since it too is retired but some are reportedly used as testbed study planes, and its got at least some secret stuff in it as it was mostly an exotic planes in its timeline back then to Intercept US supersonic planes like SR-71. At least to intercept and getting within missile range and make it divert flight. Developers are already finding it VERY difficult to get access to modern Russian modules and even some 70s to 80s era planes. I was also tempted to add the Su-15 Flagon...but I suppose the data on it are very sparse and hard to get and it also had one of those exotic radar for its time. And no one really mentioned this cold war beauty.

I never overclock. My GPU is running on stock. MSI RTX Ventus OC. But I have not installed the software to control or OC the GPU. So far, I believe it runs on stock settings. It can be overclocked, but I don't bother about overclocking stuff. This never happened before. But...like I said. After you land and then come to a stop just before taxiing. I turned it back to BER from Visual landing setting. That's when it crashed. RAM is 32gb CPU - I5 8500.
-
And what would that be?...:)
-
If the developers cannot get the hold of 90s or 80s era Soviet planes and making the clickable cockpit. Then the K version of Mig 29 is out the question. The ones in the listed are either fully retired or in VERY limited service...but mostly they've seen good action.

Would this help? This is not the OLD. file. Just the log file. But. I must say...when the crash happened. I had to hard reset my PC. I had to just switch off the main power coz even after several minutes, the PC would not respond. Then after powering it on...sent me straight to the BIOS page. I was almost going to send it for repairs. But did the restart again, and somehow it worked, back to normal. Don't wish to test it again. I could not attach it before. coz the file simply would not upload back then. I could not send both. dcs.log

ED is already working on the F-4E, but they have delayed it even further to who knows when. The other developers did make Dual version planes. Since they are already delaying, they maybe add in the Naval version...and so far we did easy carrier landing with Modern HUD equipped planes. This will bring in some more fun and plenty of sales for them...it would most certainly sell like hot cakes.

Following is a list of doable planes. With most of them seeing good amount of theater actions. You can only vote 2.

Still, the main gear feels gummy as hell...and needs tuning. It wobbles down the runway bobbing up and down (even in near empty fuel) even when all the gear touched making some strange noise, as if I belly landed. Its like the gear is going to breakdown any moment. I was able to land the plane on medium load and managed a very short lucky aerobrake. The only diff is, you come in a bit faster. Out of all the planes, this planes landing physics and behavior needs re-tuning. The current build seems to have messed up the suspensions and made it even worse.
-
Well, whichever is possible or whichever version saw the most action. Pretty sure its doable. Its old and retired and there isn't any extremely secret stuff...
-
I'm a more into full modules. Not into mods... As always, it was just a wishlist suggestion for the M.E maps.
-
The suspension definitely needs tuning and its being tuned however I could do aerobraking, it is just hard as requires VERY FINE stick movements and catching it just there so it keeps nose gear lifted but doesn't take-off again. I could keep it in that situation from touchdown to about 240 km/h. So its possible but just hard. Yes, its VERY difficult. But doable, especially when the fuel is near empty and you hold that sweetspot AoA plus the watch the sink rate and keep it low as possible, gliding down, with marginal engine power. But...still, its the most difficult of ALL DCS planes barring the F-18 on full flaps landing and clean load. I wonder how those RL pilots land with wingtanks and 2X Heaters and stilll manage to aerobrake. There are airshow vids of Mig 21 with wing tanks doing aerobraking landing.

Whichever related variant that has seen the most theaters or action. But, Pretty sure this retired old bird is doable...
-
This plane has seen PLENTY of conflicts/theaters. Six Day war, Yom Kippur war, etc. Will fit in with the upcoming Middle eastern map. Preferring whichever late advanced model of the Hawker Hunter. Like FGA-9 or some export variants with further advancements.

Just got it crashed after setting it BER done after landing at Visual setting. My computer just froze up and had to restart coz not even ctr+alt+del could not get me out...after restarting, it directs me to the BIOS page. Miraculously after the second restart...went back to normal, phew.. I'll have to stay away from the Viggen for the time being until there is a solution that does not kill my PC. My specs are as follows: Intel I5-8500, MSI RTX 2070, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. Windows 10 pro 64.

Number one hardest plane in DCS to do an aerobrake landing (2nd F-14 and 3rd being the F-5). Before the 2020 updates. I was able to at least hold the nose-up slightly. Now, as soon as the main gear touches, the nose comes down hard with a violent sideways wobble. And down the runway...it wobbles up and down motion. The landing physics certainly need some more tuning. There are vids of Romanian Mig 21 managing to do aerobrake landing even with wing tanks. Also vids of Iranian F-14 managing to do aerobraked landing with full flaps and spoilers.
-
I was able to aerobrake at least on seldom times before the 2020 updates. But now, I see even more erratic landing gear behavior. Even if the sink rate is low and you touch the main gear, it just forcefully slams down with a bit of wobbling sideways. Then down the runway, it wobbles all the way bobbing up and down, making strange mechanical sounds as if we belly landed. I've seen at airshows where Romanian Mig 21 even with wing tanks still managing to do a smooth aerobrake landing. Its doable at least in the F-5 and to some extend the F-14 as well. But, the Mig 21 is the hardest. At current, the main gear feels very "gummy"... DCS Mig 21 ranks number 1 being the hardest plane to ever aerobrake. Landing physics need some tuning in the module.
-
Out of all the DCS jets, the Mig 21 seems to be the hardest perform an aerobraking flair after the main gear touches. At present, soon as the main gear touches, it just forcefully slams the front gear even when coming at low VVS. Aerobraking is doable in the F-5, it seems to be the 3rd hardest to aerobrake. 2nd being the F-14B. I've seen Iranian F-14 with full flaps and spoilers still doing some lasting aerobrakes The Mig 21 main gear feels gummy and feels like its got too much friction and wobble modeled in. IRL we can see vids of Mig 21 landing in load (wing drop tanks) and still doing aerobraking. Mostly vids of Mig 21 LanceR and Indian Mig 21 Bisons.

Hmm...well, I'd much prefer whichever version saw the most action. And a single Aircraft at that. Its already taking the F-14A a year or so from the B version. So...how long do you think would take with both F-100 versions? Especially with minuscule differences and seems pointless. Its like asking for both the F-15E model with early having the analog UFC and the late versions with different digital UFC. Also, late F-15E having different engines with slightly uprated thrusts. Still, two planes version with minuscule differences does not seem worth much. We'll most possibly see the F-14A model in maybe late 2020 or mids.
-
Why do we need to multiple of the same with meager differences? Heatblur is already taxed with the F-14A, and aside from engines, there isn't much significant difference between with the B model. It would be much better they work on some other fresh jet...instead of getting too taxed with the another almost similar. It already takes quite long to build those modules even if there is similarities between some jets. The F-14A is clear sign that we dont want the devs to work on 2 F-100 with very meager differences. I would much prefer the later model F-100 that can fit in with the Vietnam war era.
