Is there a hope for Su-30 Updated AI model if the FC3 level aircraft is not possible? The Su-30 AI model seems to be missing from the DCS roadmap on update list of AI models. Why is this left out? The current model seems very out of place.

I dont have the VR nor dedicated rudder pedals. All I have is just Thrustmaster T.16000M with minus the dedicated Rudder pedals. Like I said...I was stating not everyone has the required setup and you do have the minimum of those at the very least..which is a separated dedicated rudder pedal. I have tried the Blackshark but had to refund it coz I could not utilize it fully. I have almost all the DCS modules minus the turboprops and helo.

Removing the Phantom from the roadmap?! Why would they even consider about asking that? Its one of the most bankable/profitable module they could have instead of WW2 era jets and those Helos that are too complicated and they would only have sales from uber experts or people who got high top notch flight gear. I certainly am eager to fly that legendary Phantom. It was excellent multi-role jet with an internal cannon as auxiliary weapon.

Tornado seems good...There are no British jets and the only one we had just got booted out. I wonder if its possible... There are many cold war jets that are possible. Jaguar, Lightning and Su-22.

There are plenty of NATO esq campaigns like F-15 Russo-Georgia front which has been done in good detail. Would love to see a similar detailed campaign for the Redforce, Russia side for example. We lack detailed campaigns for the Russian jets. The remaining Su-27 campaign Ultimate argument does not have the detail and quality level to that of the Current F-15 campaign, Georgia front. I wouldn't mind a Chinese campaign as well:smilewink:. Lets just say on a fictional setting of China fighting alongside Russia. The J-11 can even the odds against modern US and other NATO fighters:).

All Russian missiles stuck at 1990, no improvements since?
jojyrocks replied to silent one's topic in DCS Core Wish List
There were versions of R27 active radar. For cost cutting they just they used the R-27 platform. It may not be used by the Russian air force yet, but maybe for the export. They focus on SAM tech or defensive tech than offense. Right now they use R-77. Su-33 originally was slated to have anti ship ability. But they might have decided not to input it as they just dont see any anti ship attack on them from other ships, but only from airborne threats. It was certainly planned. There is no point of a Navy fighter that cannot take down a possible shipborne threat. The US navy had (Almost all NATO naval forces had it), if the F-14 could not. There were other type of planes to take care of that. When Su-33 was first operational, There were no other carrier based type fighter that can take out shipborne targets. So, I am sure they at least had anti ship ability on call and planned in emergency (I guess cold war was killing the funds), it was presented in airshows next to it...at least for the export market. -

jojyrocks replied to silent one's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I don't think the Russian have remain stagnant, At least that's what they want the others to believe. There are other versions of R-27. There is active radar version like R-27EA and EM version. They provide the latest missiles for export. There is R-77. With active radar missiles, We can take on the Western planes easier. With Semi active, one has to waste one missile to make the other turn away. Seems more like a waste of resources. Break away and you break lock. So far we dont have any flyable planes that can use the active radar missiles barring Mig 29S and J-11. Although it does seem senseless that the Naval Su-33 does not have an anti ship missile. That is a must have for naval fighter jets. -
Would you want ANY heavy aircraft modules for DCS?
jojyrocks replied to Wing's topic in DCS Core Wish List
It already takes a considerable amount of time to create a module for single and two seat planes. Most heavies have more than 2 crew members and the amount of systems that also go by is too many. Then there is the number of engines. There is also a lot of pending fast planes on the way and that will take 2-3 years. Those heavies might even take more than that. -
What is the true reason for no Heavy Aircraft Module devs?
jojyrocks replied to Wing's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I believe the true reason is the complexity of creating such a module. -
That slow lumbering bomber with multi crew? Creating that would amount to HUUUUUGE workload. I don't want to tax the developers. Creating a single fighter jet module with single seat takes a considerable amount of time as it is. It would be much easier to create...like say...an F-104, F-105 or a Tornado than a multi-crew complicated 4 engine Bomber. A B-1B is MUCH better than a B-52. Still it would be complex...

A full module of F-15E is on the way and I dont think we need two models of the SAME aircraft with one just having the fancy UFC. There isn't much difference. Its better to have either the standard or the overhauled UFCD version. Anyone is enough...not both. They already got a lot on their plate. The USAF have not even upgraded all their F-16 to block 50 plus and above. Some are still below block 50. Not all squadron of the F-15E got update with the UFC. It'll certainly be early 2021 when we do get F-15E:pilotfly:

It is possible... One has to hold the nose a bit more higher and come in a higher speed...not too high to smack the tail.
-
An LSO camera view would be a nice touch and those Landing grades too.
-
Having an internal cannon focus or ability to at least gunfight. Gunpods carrying ability are also good too. USAF - F-4 Phantom ii series with gun and the other naval version with gun pods. (I know the F-4E is in the works...still would love it if they added at least a Naval version to go with it as F 4 was originally build and designed for the Navy. -F-104 -F-105 -F-100 USN - A-7 series - A-4 Skyhawk - (I know a mod exists, but its not the same as full module) -F-8 ( Yeah..its in the works too). -T-45 Goshhawk

J-10 is the current mainstay in-service aircraft of the Chinese airforce and that means...its not gonna happen. Chinese are very secretive about their own tech, at least the tech that's still in service. JF-17 maybe built by Chinese, but its not inducted into their airforce and its only meant as a modular export plane to suit countries that dont have a lot of $$$. Its still capable enough to keep up with 4.5 gen planes. Yeah...we all would love to see the J-10 :)
-
Hmm... I guess they are slowly updating their F-15E to current gen overhaul.
-
My realistic speculation that CAN be possible for Heatblur. Panavia Tornado (Less chance) A7 Corsair. A6 Intruder. (There is more possibility coz AI model is being worked). Pretty sure the sales will be MORE for Panavia Tornado...if they do get around to make it. Currently we have Zero British Aircrafts. Hawk being scuttled... Yeah, the Tornado is jointly made by Germany, UK and Italy.
-
It took pretty loooong for just the C-101 and its attack variant to come around One model of aircraft equals more less time to finish and less headache. Also they could even hope to proceed to the next FRESH aircraft. It already takes 2-3 Years for one model.
-
The only HOPE to see Russian modern jets is with the Flaming Cliffs pattern. Meaning not full fidelity versions of it...but like we have with the current F-15C and Mig 29 for example... They only said Full fidelity Russian modern jets is not possible. The Mig 25 is still a bit classified...
-
The digital UFC is for the F-15K South Korean models, It started with it. USAF still uses the old pattern.
-
Yeah...strange poll selection choices... I would opt for M only and not overtax the devs. Creating just one module is taking loooong enough as it is...
-
I dont see Russia conceding or toning down anytime soon. So if FULL FIDELITY Su 30 and upwards Sukhoi models are not possible. Then, We can at least hope for Flaming Cliffs style Su-30.

F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
jojyrocks replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Oh, you got me there...:) Most WW2 crafts were not that different in between. Its like asking between Spitfire Mk1 and Mk ...any late models. I cannot relate with WW2 planes coz, I have not bought any WW2 crafts in DCS. I mostly fly WW2 planes in IL2 Sturmovik. I stick with the JET fighters in DCS. Props in IL2. I would LOVE to see a Super Hornet. But seeing as each module takes about 2-3 years or so. I was opting to see much FRESHER design, a change. In truth I would love to the Super Hornet...although, I dont see it happening anytime soon coz its the ONLY fully operation jet with the Navy and still in service. We could, however...hope for an AI. Again, I'd rather see an F-4 Phantom or the F-104. So far, we already have USA present jets which are ongoing like F-15E, F-16 and so on.:pilotfly: -
I do hope its the Tornado and not the A-6. Tornado would be a day one purchase for me.
-
Would love to see a JH-7 or a J8. I doubt there are any ground braking secrets in them...sooo it could be possible than J-11 or 15.
