  1. So...T-45C is a mod?
  2. So...you dont have the module? and yet you know without using it yourself, its is overpowered. I can understand that most of west has clear Anti China sentiment. Hope we don't alienate our developers coz of this politics over here.
  3. Yeah, when all the wheel touches and THEN you try and do an aerobrake. Its much easier. But while landing, when the main gear touches for now, it just feels very "gummy" and this automatically forcefully forces the nose down movement. It is SOMETIMES doable, when you get THAT RIGHT angle to touch the main wheels along with the sink rate. Still, it is very hard. You can see in airshow videos the Mig 21 landing even with load like wing tanks etc... The other jets are OK...just needs some practice, minus the Hornet on full flaps. Try landing the Hornet on full flaps on land bases. I SOMETIMES see on airshows where it does the aerobrake. Mainly other nations users. So yeah, then ground handling or landing physics need to be remodeled again. - Skip to 6:00 and he even has the airbrakes deployed along...
  4. I think it could be made...maybe after 2024 or 25. By the time that happens, we'll have the F-8, F-4E...etc. The only roadblock I see political sentiment...
  5. Probably around late 2021...
  6. Guess we'll see the Mig 23MLA on 2021 by the looks of it....seems like we won't be seeing much new module content in 2020. RAZBAM already has so much on their hands as it is...hope they don't overtax themselves.
  7. We'll mostly see new content maybe at LATE 2020 and or starting from 2021. No news on F-104 development...such an exotic plane that I too would love to see.
  8. Maybe not directly from Russia...but its said that they got 2nd hand Mig 19S Farmer C version from Indonesia of 20 numbers (Source Wiki). Along with Shenyang F-6 from China. Maybe Deka can expand the Chinese AI assets...pretty sure some can be interchangeable and Pakistan do use Chinese AWACS as well.
  9. No content planes for it that fit the timeline much, yet...other than the Mig 19 and UH-1H. The only prospective maps that fit our current module content are mostly Middle eastern maps.
  10. Yes, I do realize the Indians use 2000-5 equivalent version or their modded version being called the 2000H. The IAF placed an order for more than 66 MiG-29s in 1980 while the aircraft was still in its initial development phase. Since its induction into the IAF in 1985. Its only recently they added upgraded to UPG standard. Yes...we could wait for the upcoming Mig 19S...close to what Pakistan has. And that F-16 too. It does not have to be the accurate version and they do have the models before block 52. So at current...only feasible planes are Mig 29, J-11 ( Chinese helping Pakistan scenarios) , JF-17 and F-16. Mig 19 seems to be at an odd timeline. I think Pakistan has an odd mix of both Russian Mig 19 and its Chinese copy. If the Mig 23 arrives...yes the Indians did operate that too at one point, the Mig 23MF. Yes...J&K area would be a great map. Those lovely terrain over there...hehe I guess, by the time of 2024 we can MAYBE expect it to be ready for consideration. Hopefully some new upcoming modules might fit in.
  11. There is another thread trying to hard lobbying for it or those support planes...:noexpression: Yeah...it is boring. I could not make sense how it would have a good profitable market on this. Only the most ardent purists would buy it. It would be hell of pain to make such a complicated module anyway. It already take those COMBAT plane modules a lot of time to be added. The next new module we might see on late 2020 if we are luck or 2021.
  12. Wish we got a playable early Su-30 that can substitute the Indian version. But I doubt it since ED has not even planned to upgrade its AI 3D models. Its not even mentioned in the roadmap.
  13. For the Map to work Indian side playable has the Mirage 2000, Mig 21bis instead of the Bison and Mig 29. I believe they have the 2000-5 variant. Also India at one point DID have the Mig 23 before the 27. Pakistan side has the JF-17 and Mig 19. Also Chinese J-11 can be added as support partner from China. Pakistan also used the F-86. Lets not forget the F-16. Hmm...but Pakistan has a different block of it, right? If only ED and its partners manage something like the Jaguar, Mig 27, Hawker Hunter and finally the F-104.
  14. J-8 series is doable. Its almost fully retired.
  15. No one knows if its a fully functional AWACS plane....How an AWACS radar model works will be complicated to develop and pretty sure the module is going to be very very costly with fewer takers. The work needed on it will be immense. The only takers will be extreme dedicated flight enthusiasts and some ex pilots maybe. I dont see others buying. The maps here are small...comms are still developing, A/G radar is still being worked on and again I do not see how a complicated AWACS radar fit in. Have the done work on this? How are they going to model the radar and its crew either, plus its vast systems? The furthest I see is a Cargoplane like C-2 Greyhound. The carrier landings would be fun... If its a MILESTONE, Maybe some Russian modern plane. Somewhat modern. Getting access to somewhat modern Russian plane would be a milestone around 80s, 90s or 2000 era. But...who knows? Maybe it could be an F-111 or Tornado. Both are well profitable planes with so many takers.
  16. I much prefer any LATE variants of J-8 looks like a sleek challenging plane that needs even more speed than Mig 21 to land. Well...any J-8...still hoping for later variants of it. Also its doable module.
  17. So...we can expect most releases realistically at 2021 or if we are lucky...just late 2020. People here are still asking Cargo, AWACS and gunship level planes...
  18. Cheap insults aside...:noexpression: I did manage to aerobrake the Mig 21....SOMETIMES, at a certain specific sink rate and angle. Demonstration is not necessary. I know it can. What I am trying to say is that, it is the HARDEST of all DCS planes to aerobrake, I mostly manage it via fluke. Sometimes even possible with light load at a specific angle. Still, it is hard.
  19. Realistic expectation on REDFORCE: Mig 27 Su-17/22 Family and MAYBE some EARLY Su 27 or Mig 29 family series....EARLY.
  20. As per the timeline and realistic expectations: F-15E and Mig 23 so far... F-4 Phantom is the aircraft that I truly want to see fastracked. But for some reason, it has been extended around 2022. So, it seems we have a loooong waiting time... Also others are also wanting Civilian or Logistic, Cargo, AWACS centered planes between all these current awaited planes that obviously takes more than 3 years. Looks like we'll be seeing new stuff maybe around LATE 2020.
  21. So far...out of all DCS fighters, this is the only plane that is hardest to land on an aerobrake format. And I have seen on clear airshow videos Mig 21 lands with load on, with wing tanks and still aerobrake good. I can even aerobrake the F-5 pretty good... The USN F-18 hornet is also almost impossible to aerobrake with FULL flaps on landbased runways. Sometimes the F-14 as well...you can see the Iranian F-14 land in aerobrake fashion.
  22. Lets pretend that it is FRESH from the factory....
  23. Not working for me. Spotted in the Hercules hunt single night mission. Taxi lights are not visible and I use stable version. External lights all cranked to full... Right now its kinda difficult to taxi without those lights.
  24. People who use Open Beta should realize...it will HAVE BUGS and as they could help in reporting any problems they find without going getting angry etc. Stable too will have some bugs, as always...but at least, less than the OB. They too can report it. But so far, there isn't any game out there that is bug free. Even AAA brands have bugs and sometimes gamebreaking bugs. I don't use OB. But even If I do find problem on Stable, if reportable and reproducible, I'll do that. I know majority go for OB, coz modules release faster over there than stable. The testing team, at least some of them could test how it works on MIN recommended specs PC, or do they test on Min recommended specs?. I know most of the devs got the best PC setup. My specs: I5-8500, MSI RTX 2070 Ventus OC (running on stock setting), 1TB SSD. 32GB RAM. Gigabyte H370M motherboard.
  25. Nice vids man! This is what I have been talking about. The Mig 21 landing physics need more tuning and as of present its almost impossible to aerobrake unless you have near empty fuel and load. It is the number 1 most difficult plane to aerobrake (barring Hornet on full flaps). I could manage with F-5, though... There are more vids of Romanian Mig 21 with wing tanks and heatseakers and still be able to land with aerobraking. I've also noticed that there are more vids of OLD school pilots landing more with the aerobrake format...like Su-7, Su-17/22, Su-15, F-4 Phantom and Mig 21 etc....but modern vids of F-4 and Mig 21 landing are majority on the without doing the aerobraking... Its easier to do on Fly by wire planes ( Barring the Hornet landing on land bases with full flaps).
