There is a workaround to get some color in the mirrors: Enter a mission, with mirrors turned on in options. Find a nice angle for a nice mirror reflection. Quit the mission. Restart the mission with mirrors turned off in options. And there u have the last frozen picture of the mirror reflection remaining there. Better than black, for me.

+1. Performance with mirrors turned on is really bad in VR. Sadly. Without, all smooth. I dont like black wholes in my cockpit too. There are some nice looking mirrors in the Viggen I have installed in the 2.5.0.

High FPS when watching out of the side window, low FPS when watching towards the intrument panels and/or propeller in front. Edit: Use the 3 blade yak. It performs great!

Nice. Thank u for the info. That matches my idea of having an option. It too sad, that problems seem to exist for a very long time in DCS.

I found the "CanopyGlass2.tga.dds". I'll play a bit with that texture and see, how I can improve it.

Hey guys. I really enjoy flying in beautyful dynamic weather conditions. For me DCS is more like having a good time in the air in VR than destroying objectives. For me, the glas of the canopy is too dirty. In low sun condidtions I partly see nothing cause the dirt is too translucent and shades too much. Is there a texture, which I can modify by myself and maybe multiply the intensity by e.g. 0.2 ? What are the devs thinking? A special option like glas dirt intensity would be nice. I really want to clean it. :thumbup: Regards Vannipo

+1 Yes, starts night are very ugly, if something is spotting u with a light cone. And, yes. Why no option.

Not only the clouds, the whole landscape flickers with sunlight on or off, if I move my head in VR. Especially in sunset/sunrise conditions. Maybe it has something to do with the clouds, cause they cast shadows. This is really no fun to fly in these actually beauty sceneries. If the main sun light and complete clouds are flickering... And pls add the ambient lighting to the clouds. Cause they are getting completly black, if the clouds are behind a mountain...

understanding ME : spawned when mission starts ?

Delayed AI Start: Set unit to "uncontrolled". Create a triggered action for this unit with the execute command "Start" Activate this action in the trigger menue by choosing AI Task (or whatever it was) and set a delay as trigger. That all doesn't work for player pilots. No official (flightplanned) delayed start possible. The ME is just a mess. -

Engine doesn't shut down, if battery switched off

I am not talking about just disconnecting the battery. I am talking about shutting down the engine (throttle to stop, fuel pump off, etc...". And if u disconnect the battery too early, the rotor keeps on spinning infinitly. Yeah, this is strange. Just a tiny bug. -

Hey there. I am really new to heli flying in DCS. I just bought the Huey and I am learning right now. Hovering, starting, flying in 4 feet height with full speed, all that is no problem. But I have a - for me - strange behavior while approaching to land. You know, after a while u understand the physics. But, I don't know, when approaching for a smooth landing, I often get something feels like stall. the collective does not change anything. I just fall through the air, as if there is no rotor: I fly about 100knots in about 80m. Smooth and nice. What I want now, is, to slow down but keep the height as much as I can. So, I pull up, all smooth. At the same time I push the collective lever smooth down, to compensate that climb. All instruments are showing nice values, I think. And just before I would start to drop, I give more collective and rudder (still pulling slightly up) to compensate this. But - I don't know - the Huey keeps dropping and I am not able to catch the velocity downwards anymore -> Crash! That all works, if I do all this veeeery sloow and smooth. But it feels like the Huey has so much power when climbing. But in this situation, it's gone. What are ur experiences? I have to do some more tests. And maybe someone could check a track file and give me a hint? Best Regards Vannipo

Due to a too early switched off battery switch, the engine keeps spinning. Until switching it on again. Then the engine stops. :) Maybe someone switched the cables.

All of u VR guys (me included) should map the commands to adjust the seat position to e.g.: RCTRL+RHIFT+POV-Hat of ur joystick. I really need to adjust my seat position very often while in a mission.

Hello. How I can adjust the font size for mission text (for training, etc) the communication menue ? In VR the text is cutted off if the text is too long. I can't read all the info.

Just open the "OculusDebugTool" and let it stay opened. No extra Tools needed for this. With 45 fps all is shuttering ALL the time. Depending on where u look, u see it more or less.

1st: Try to reinstall the module and check again. In one case I wasted hours of testing, writing in the forum. The simple solution was just a reinstall and my trim works again.

Hello. When I replay a viggen flight, it crashes in the environment. v2.5.0. Anyone having this problem, too?

As I said, I still don't know, what a release version is. I installed the last non beta version from the hp. And its 2.5.0.xxxx. However u call it. It doesn't matter.
