  1. I don't think anything in the Harrier was actually updated, .. nor the Mig-19. Aside from manifest files, no other files for the 2 aircraft were updated. Someone missed the boat, .. again. .. or, somebody at ED has screwed the patch content.

  6. Excellent work OverStratos, .. switches are far easier to locate in your cockpit, .. I also like that there is far less shimmering in your 'pit, .. especially with the horizontal white lines around labels, badges etc.. :) .. really would appreciate an English version. :) Thanks and Regards Tom
  7. Hi, Looks like mine is starting to groove as well. .. and I really haven't used my throttle that much .. +- 3 hours .. :( Virpil need to make some suggestions, on how to alleviate further 'grooving' of that plate. :book: .. perhaps they need to make that 'plate' out of some other material .. e.g. teflon or nylon. What I've done in the interim, .. is give the 'plate' a couple of coats of dry PTFE lubricant. (to reduce friction) .. and, when I put the plate back, I just 'nipped' the 2 screws that hold it in, not totally (over)tightened them. (to reduce pressure on the ball bearings). Throttle feels smooth(er), .. and Indent seems fine .. :) Cheers Tom
  8. Hi, Not sure if you're aware of the New Options for labels .. i.e. None, Dot, Abbreviated & Full. .. found in Options .. Gameplay .. Labels, .. located at the bottom left of the screen. Check that .. :) Cheers Tom
  9. In a nutshell, ... Yes .. :) Cheers Tom
  10. Hi, It's not so much the bindings resetting, as it is .. a Joystick with a different name, .. with nothing bound to it. e.g. if you created your DCS bindings with this .. VPC MT50 Flightstick {9DF10F30-B7FD-11e8-8002-444553540000} .. and after playing around with your VPC Profile, .. and it resetting the Windows calibration, .. DCS will create something like this .. VPC MT50 Flightstick {663DF270-DBA6-11e8-8002-444553540000} .. as it thinks it's a different joystick. DCS creates those long numbers .. :( Your old joystick bindings should still be there, albeit under a different name. You can either rename the lua file to the new name, .. or, copy and paste your settings, from one file to the other. Easiest just to rename the file .. :) Cheers Tom
  11. Hi, Make sure this is ZERO in the VPC_JOY_SETUP.ini file, .. in your VPC software folder .. ResetWindowsCalibration=0 Cheers Tom
  12. Yip, .. it's only been a year, .. so far .. :joystick: By comparison, .. the TDC axis on the F/A-18C took a whole week to fix. I've given up on the Harrier, .. so many issues, .. so few, if any .. fixes. Razbam, apparently, have more important things to sort out .. new products. :pilotfly: Cheers Tom
  13. NO, .. you need to update the Firmware first, .. THEN Import a Profile. Cheers Tom
  14. Hi MDEE, Actually, .. the Software/Firmware at .. https://virpil-controls.eu/downloads/software.html .. is the latest version. i.e. 20180828 The date on that page says it was ... Updated 04/09/2108, .. which is the 4th of September, .. not .. 9th of April .. :) I'm guessing you might be from the US, .. where your dates are backwards .. :) Cheers Tom
  15. DO NOT try to load a Profile .. You need to update the Firmware first, .. you cannot load a profile if the Firmware is not up to date, .. and thus, .. version compatible. (N.B.: Make sure the Firmware file path is correct .. !!!!! ) Once the Firmware update is complete, .. you need to Import a Profile, .. and one that matches your setup .. e.g. VPC MT50 + MT50 ... if you use the T-50 Base with the T-50 Stick Good Luck .. :) Cheers Tom
  16. Hi Whisper, Thanks, .. although I decided to throw caution to the wind this morning, .. and go through the update process again, .. this time with the 20180828 version of the software/firmware. Once the MT-50 was all updated and profiles loaded etc., .. the one thing I noticed is the disparity between the 'Physicals buttons state' panel on the main VPC Configuration Tool screen [VPC-JOY-180828], .. and the VPC Joystick Tester Tool. For example on the 'Physical buttons state' panel, .. I noted the following:- Trigger 1st click = 8 Trigger 2nd click = 1 Analog brake = 3 .. whereas on the VPC Joystick Tester Tool, .. everything is normal. Trigger 1st click = 1 Trigger 2nd click = 2 Analog brake = 19 So, all correct. .. and whereas, the VPC Joystick tester correctly shows the correct button mapping for everything, .. the 'Physical buttons state' shows the buttons all over the place. Now, .. I believe that this is what I probably saw a few weeks ago, when I first updated the firmware, .. and am wondering if this is not what you are seeing. I have no idea why this disparity exists between the 'Physical button state' and 'actual' button output. It could be that there is some 'transparent' internal re-mapping going on. .. still a little confusing. One other thing I noticed about the 2 different versions of the VPC Configuration Tool, .. is that, .. with the older version (180101), .. as soon as you run it, .. your MT-50 is online and synced, .. .. whereas, .. with the new version (180828 ), .. when you run it, .. your MT-50 status is .. 'NOT SYNC'. .. and you have to .. LOAD DEVICE PROFILE .. to SYNC it. Perhaps Cyph3r can provide some insight into these anomalies. :) Anyway, .. I'm not sure if any of this will be of any assistance to you. I also have PCB 05, .. and have tried 'spamming' the buttons etc., .. and, all seem ok. EDIT: Oops, .. just noticed there's a new manual available, .. which explains the SYNC/NOT SYNC things, as well as some other stuff. :) Cheers Tom
  17. Hi, You may not be the only one, .. :) I upgraded my MT-50 about 3 or 4 weeks ago, with the 20180807 firmware, and I seem to recall also having some oddity with button presses etc.. .. but, I can't remember exactly what the button presses were doing, just that they seemed incorrect. I also have a vague memory of using the old VPC Tester (1.01), .. and the buttons seemed ok. I was actually more concerned about the name change, .. i.e. from VPC- MongoosT-50 to .. VPC Flightstick, .. and thinking about the implications of it being identified as a new device, .. and all my DCS & iL2 configs not working anymore. .. on that basis, I rolled back to the older firmware (20180101, .. the one I posted) So, inasmuch as I can't be certain exactly what button was doing what, .. I did notice something odd. I may try the newer software/firmware again this week, .. or, wait until my MT-50 throttle arrives, .. and try it then. Did Virpil have any ideas/solutions for you? Cheers Tom
  18. Hi, Here's a link to the complete VPC_Light vers. 1.01, .. from January. https://www.dropbox.com/s/znnw96q7cq9z9j2/VPC_Configurator_Light_1.01.zip?dl=0 Hope it helps you out. Cheers Tom
  19. .. I couldn't see one single file related to the Harrier in this update. :( I have DCS Beta on 2 drives, .. and after I ran today's update on the 1st install, .. I then ran a comparison with 2nd Install, .. no Harrier files were added or changed. In other words, .. there was no Harrier update today .. :( Cheers Tom
  20. Hi Cyph3r, I updated my MongoosT-50 to the new firmware (20180807) a couple of weeks ago, .. but, noticed that it was now referred to as a VPC Flightstick, .. and not VPC MongoosT-50 .. ? .. knowing that this was probably going to cause some issues with configs etc., .. I decided to roll back to the 20180101 firmware. The VPC software recognized it as a MongoosT-50 again, .. but, I had to delete the additional identifier in the Windows registry, for Windows to recognize it as a MongoosT-50 again. So, .. what was the reason or logic behind the name change? Oh, .. and aside from updating the firmware, in order to use the new software, .. is/was there any other reason to update the Firmware? Cheers Tom
  21. Hi Karon, You're using the wrong mounting plate, .. the one in your pics is for the Warthog Throttle. You need this one, .. for the Virpil Throttle. https://www.virpil-controls.by/en/shop/mt-50-throttle-deskmount-plate-vpc You can see the mounting holes are much further back, .. and you can adjust the position. Cheers Tom

    Manual

Hi, The English and Russian Manuals are in the Doc folder for the Yak-52 .. :) Cheers Tom
  23. I agree. I got my Virpil T-50CM and Base and Mounts in good time and order, .. as they were in stock at the time. No waiting .. :) I've pre-ordered the Throttle and a couple of other things, .. and will await Virpil getting their new operation etc. up to speed, .. and getting my bits and pieces shipped out to me. I also don't get this incessant bitching and whining, .. that does nothing more, .. than pollute the thread. I understand the frustrations, but please be patient, .. and, if not .. take Virpil up on their offer of a refund. Your loss though, .. as I think the T-50 Throttle, and anything else they manufacture, .. is gonna be well worth the wait. :) .. all good things come, .. to those who wait .. :) Saying that, .. I backed a Product on Kickstarter, that was due this month (July), .. now, it has been postponed to September .. :( Things happen, .. production runs get delayed. However, I want the Product, so, I must wait. Frustrating? .. Yes. End of the World? .. not really .. :) Cheers Tom
  24. Hi Tom, Try 'Save Device Profile' first, .. and then 'Load Device Profile' I mentioned that in my first post, but, took it out, as I wasn't sure if I had done that, .. it's a while ago that I did it. I only use the Warthog stick for the A-10C now, .. and, haven't flown that in a while .. :) @00:27 in your video, you're .. saving calibration to profile .. not Save Device Profille, .. so, after saving calibration to profille, .. also Save Device Profile. Cheers Tom
