  1. Hi Tom, I also have to re-calibrate when switching from the MongoosT-50 to the WH stick and vice versa. The only step you seem to be missing, .. and what I do, .. is that after you save the calibration to profile, .. I .. Load Device Profile .. which works for me. So, although you saved the calibration to the profile, .. that profile, with the new calibration data, won't be active until you re-load it. Cheers Tom
  2. Hi, Not sure if this is working for me. I don't use Target normally, .. and just assign the bindings directly in DCS. After running this profile, .. my Throttle is now Combined, .. and all my DCS bindings for the Throttle are gone. Not only that, .. but, I can't assign any switch or button to any keystroke .. i.e. doesn't register on the Combined Throttle. I can re-assign the axis commands ok, .. i.e. Throttles and Slider, .. but, no keystrokes. Once I stop the profile, everything is back to normal. Any advice? Thanks Cheers Tom
  3. Hi, I use the ones from Virpil, .. for both my Warthog and my MongoosT-50CM. They're great .. :) https://www.virpil-controls.by/en/shop/vpc-dust-cover-vpc Cheers Tom
  4. Hi, I have the same problem, .. but my error is for the SU-27. I only have FC3, .. but, according to the Module Manager', .. in my installed modules, .. it thinks I have the 'SU-27 for DCS World'. I have only ever had FC3. Problem now is, .. as soon as I try to FLY either the SU-27 or SU-33, .. DCS just crashes. All other FC3 aircraft work fine. Cheers Tom
  5. The switches won't toggle/actuate on the ground. .. need to be in the air. Cheers Tom
  6. Hi, Just a thought, .. by default, and unlike most other aircraft, .. the Harrier uses Right Control and the arrows keys (not numeric pad) for trim, .. instead of the usual ,./; .. etc.. Caught me as well. Also, .. Right Control z and x for Rudder Trim. Cheers Tom
  7. Hi, I'm 'now' aware of the RWR crash with the Viggen, .. however, when I was experiencing some game crashing with the Viggen, .. I did a repair on my DCS Openbeta 1.5.8 install. When I then ran 1.5.8, .. I was prompted to activate the Viggen .. !?? ..and, although a message informed me that it was already activated, .. I activated again anyway. Still, lots of crashing .. probably related to the RWR issue, .. which I wasn't aware of at the time. However, .. if I just start DCS Openbeta, .. and then exit, .. an examination of the dcs.log file, .. reveals this:- ERROR WorldPlugIns: Failed to read serial number for 'AJS37' I have all the DCS modules, .. and no other module gives this ERROR. Is this related to the new authentication in 1.5.8 ? .. or, somehow, .. tied in with this RWR crash bug? I also tried un-installing and re-installing the Viggen, to no avail. The Viggen seems to work fine in 1.5.7 and 2.1, .. however, .. interestingly, .. the dcs.log files for both 1.5.7 and 2.1 show the same ERROR with regards the Serial number .. !!?? All 3 versions i.e. 1.5.7 , 1.5.8 and 2.1 all show the Viggen as installed and activated .. with a 'valid' serial number, .. in the Module Manager. One other thing I noticed in 1.5.8, .. is that the AJS37 Special page in Options, .. is completely blank .. i.e. no customized cockpit setting. Any feedback or advice on this ? Thanks .. :) Cheers Tom
  8. Hi, Sounds similar to the problem(s) I had. See my post here:- https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2988217&postcount=19 Cheers Tom
  9. Hi, I've had this same problem, .. through the various versions of 1.5.5. Version 1.5.4 worked fine, .. but, as soon as I updated to 1.5.5 .. not only would the Module Manager not work, .. but, no Missions would load, .. and would just hang there. Decided to experiment today, .. and found that 1 file was causing the problem .. i.e. pluginsEnabled.lua , .. which can be found in the .....\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config folder. Not really sure what this file was supposed to do, .. but it was dated 18th Feb 2016, .. and only had a couple of entries in it. pluginsEnabled = { ["A-10C Warthog by Eagle Dynamics"] = true, ["MiG-21Bis by Leatherneck Simulations"] = true, ["B-29"] = false, } -- end of pluginsEnabled Anyhoo, .. after deleting this file, .. everything seems to work fine .. :) Does anyone know what this file is/was to be used for?, .. is it needed for the A-10 and Mig-21? Cheers Tom
  10. Not just you .. I have the same issue. Would also like to know which lua needs editing to change the default cockpit view. Thanks Cheers Tom
  11. Brilliant .. Thanks George .. :)
  12. Hi, Out of the blue .. and for, absolutely, no apparent reason, .. I got the Mig-21 Activation issue this morning. .. something about 'significant hardware changes' .. !?! If any of my hardware has been changed since yesterday, .. then, .. the Gremlins did it. :D Everything worked fine yesterday, .. today it gives me an error. :( What is going on with these Mig-21 keys? .. surely there must be a permanent solution .. Cheers Tom
  13. Having the same problem with this Mission. Ran it a few times, .. a couple of times avoiding AAA completely, .. and it still crashed. Cheers Tom
  14. Thanks Agg .. :) Read the Manual, .. now, why didn't I think of that. :music_whistling: Actually, I did read thru it, .. but, not in any depth. .. and I didn't get as far as to read thru the specs/checklists etc.. Thanks for pointing it out. Cheers Tom
  15. Hi All, Thoroughly enjoying the L-39 .. One thing I did notice, .. is that I can only sustain inverted flight for about 35 secs, .. before the engines flames out :joystick: Is this correct for this version of the L-39?, .. and, if so, .. are the ones that the Aerobatic Teams use, .. modified?, .. or, do they use a different version altogether? Thanks .. :) Cheers Tom
  16. Hi, In Matt's video, .. An introduction to the L-39, .. he talks about the fact that there is no nose-wheel steering, .. and that ground handling is done using differential braking. .. however, .. I can only find one wheel brake axis .. :helpsmilie: Am I missing something?, .. besides the other wheel brake axis, that is .. Cheers Tom
  17. Hi, Ditto .. very distracting trying to focus on the instruments, .. when they are kinda shimmering. Although it was a Youtube video, .. I didn't notice it in Matt's video on the Introduction to the L-39. Hope there's a fix for it. Cheers Tom
  18. Um, .. you're kidding right? .. after waiting 5 years, .. and I still have to purchase Missions? I had Missions (can't recall if they were all Red Flag missions or not, .. it was sooooo long ago) in Nevada 5 years ago, .. why would I have to pay for them now? :( Sorry, .. but that would be unfair .. Cheers Tom
  19. Hey YoYo, That Mig is .. beee .. yooo .. ti .. ful .. :pilotfly: Fantastic work .. well done ...   Cheers Tom
  20. Hi Chuck, On page 21 of your guide, .. 'Flaps Lever' .. do you have the 'Top Position' and 'Neutral' reversed?, .. or is there a bug in the Flap Sequencing? I've noticed, .. in the Flap Retract Sequence, .. that going from 55 to 20 is not possible .. is this correct for the Mig-15?, .. or a wee buggie? e.g.:- Extend .. (btw, .. when I say Neutral and Retract below, .. I'm assuming Retract is the Top position, and Neutral is the 2nd position (not as per Chuck's guide, but as per what is actually going on)). 1st click = Flap Neutral (2nd position on handle): No Flap Movement (BTW, .. the Mig-15 User Guide (pg 12) says .. R(L)Shift F once to lower the Flaps to 20. It actually requires 2x L.Shift F clicks) 2nd click = Flap 20 (3rd position): Flaps extend to 20 3rd click = Flap 55 (4th position): Flaps extend to 55 Retract .. 1st click = Flap 20 (3rd position): No Flap movement 2nd click = Flap Neutral (2nd position): No Flap movement (N.B. if Chuck's guide was correct, Flaps should have Retracted fully here). 3rd click = Flap Retract (top position): Flaps retract fully. So, if Chuck's guide is correct for the Retract position on the handle, .. then there is a bug in the Flap Retract sequence Thanks again for your guide Chuck .. it's been very helpful. Cheers Tom
  21. Thanks very much Chuck, .. your efforts are most appreciated. Cheers Tom
  22. Received .. Password Change Request .. e-mail!! .. when I didn't request to do so. Is there mischief afoot .. ? Should I be concerned .. ? Cheers Tom
  23. Hi, Are you saying that Left is Right, .. & Right is Left ... ? :joystick: If so, .. I also have CH Pedals .. and Left is Left etc .. so, no problems with mine. :) Cheers Tom
  24. Hi Derek, 'Castles in the Sky' .. would be cool .. ;-) I'm an ex-Vaalie myself .. albeit of Scottish origin .. :-) Cheers Tom
  25. Hi Derek, Copy them here:- J:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-86\Liveries\F-86F Sabre You will have to create some folders (the ones in bold), as per my example. Greetings from Port Elizabeth .. :) Cheers Tom
