This is very cool. I'd be happy to include it in the mod. PM me on the side if you like. -

This happens because several control bindings are a toggle instead of a true ON / OFF separate binding. So, if the physical control and the sim are not synchronized it will reverse the functionality. If I'm doing a hot start for testing, I have to turn off the battery and generator controls on my Winwing panel for example because if they're on, it'll turn them off when the sim loads. -

Yes, all of my testing was done with STT. TWS guidance works, but not as well in my experience. I don't know if that can be easily overcome through LUA edits. -

I did quite a bit of testing today and from what I can tell, without any changes, the missiles are working exactly as before. My test mission has the F22 at 43k feet Mach 1.8. Nose hot on a Tu-214 and Tu-22's at 40k feet so roughly co-altitude. The Tu-214 is at about Mach .75 and the Tu-22's at Mach 1.6. AIM-120B/D The AIM-120D replacement for the AIM-120B. Max range ~84 miles. Lofted and scored a hit on the Tu-214 fired at 82nm. AIM-120D Lofted and scored a hit on the Tu-214 at 100nm. AIM-120D-2 Lofted and scored a hit on the Tu-214 at 110nm. Tu-22's were even easier to hit due to the closure rate, fired at similar ranges. Testing with Mig-29A nose hot ~Mach 1. Radar STT lock at 80 miles. All missiles hit, same launch parameters. -

Awesome. That'll give me a good starting point for testing. Thank you. -

@FlyingAlex The loft can be adjusted, and in fact has been. I haven't tested them thoroughly since the holidays when I put out the Modern Missiles mod. The F-22 is using similar code for the 120D's. Something may have changed in recent updates to increase the effect of the loft value. Depending on which version you're using, look in the files A2A_Missiles.lua or aim120_family.lua and under the AIM-120D you'll find this line: loft_factor = 3.0, --NIGHTSTORM Reduced loft factor from 4.5 for new seeker code to avoid overshoot. As you can see, even by the note I'd already reduced the loft value from the original 4.5. Also, I lowered it to avoid the exact issue you're describing. That problem was introduced several months ago. Since they've adjusted the seeker code again, it might have broken it again. Try dropping it down to 2 and see if it makes a difference. I won't have time to test this until the weekend myself. However, that's the likely culprit. -

I used it just this past weekend and it was working fine. There haven't been any recent updates to it. If there is a conflict, I'm not sure what it would be. See if you can do some troubleshooting to determine that. Any other recently updated mods etc. -

If I'm not mistaken the developer of that mod implemented thrust vectoring themselves. I'm not saying that it can't be done. I'm saying that the systems code for the F22 is encrypted, and I don't think thrust vectoring can be implemented without access to that code. If you know a way, please share. -

@mrjay As far as I'm aware, Grinelli doesn't have any intentions of continuing development of the F-22 mod. Who know? Thay may change in the future, but I wouldn't count on it. Yes, it would've been awesome if the thrust vectoring version had been released to the public. I personally don't know how to create a thrust vectoring EFM / DLL for the F22 and I don't *think* it's possible without access to all of the systems files. I could be wrong. Regarding what's in the works, it was inspired by the Boeing stealth weapons pod for the F/A-18EX and some recent photos of the Raptor with stealthy pods on the wing pylons. I think you can probably guess as to the idea. I'll let everyone know up front, unless we have access to the original F-22 model, which we don't, animation of the pods likely isn't possible. -

There's something already being planned to make better use of the two external pylons we have access to. -

In the mission editor on the right side, you can select the ammo types for your aircraft or your wingmen. The default ammo type has no tracers. -

I don't have SimShaker, so I'm not sure. I use a buttkicker that doesn't rely on software integration, just the bass channel. I have not noticed this. -

*Disclaimer, I'm not on the CJS Superbug Team* Just something to keep in mind for anyone working on or using mods. When it comes to modifying ED stock aircraft such as the F-16C or F/A-18C we're currently limited to what the avionics for those aircraft allow. We can't for example add AIM-7's to the F-16 and expect them to work for the player. No support for them in the avionics. On the F-16 we were able to add additional pylons and have certain things work on them (not weapons) but the F/A-18 is coded differently, and we can't even do that to any great extent. We're able to add one additional pylon that can be used for smoke, models and as it turns out, fuel tanks. Due to this limitation, the number of hard points for weapons on a Super Hornet is the same as a Legacy Hornet. If you want to have that third pylon on the wings, some finagling of the existing pylons has to take place. It's not a perfect solution, but it's the best we can get right now. And I for one, love having a flyable Super hornet in the sim. Some may ask, "Well, what about the F-14? We were able to add weapons to it!" Yes, it's by Heatblur and coded differently. The F-14 is able to use different types of missiles for example because it just "assumes" that the new missile is one of the existing ones it could already carry. It could already carry Sparrows, Sidewinders and Phoenix missiles which are of course Fox 1, Fox 2 and Fox 3 types that are defined by the seeker type in the LUA code. So, it doesn't care. That's not the case with F-16 or F/A-18. I was able to add AIM-9X2's and AIM-120D's only by replacing an existing missile. I hope this helps clear things up.

Added Block 52+ and 52+ Advanced as separate flyable versions. No liveries included but they can be copied to the appropriate folder under the F-16C. Advanced has increased RADAR range, though I'm uncertain if it actually has an effect in game. Link in first post.
