  1. okay... is that like 15 - 30 missions etc in a row, one after the other... without closing DCS etc? What have else have you installed just recently, and what (if any) other apps/ programs do you have running at the same time as the DCS?
  2. and have you modified your page file (ie set it to fixed size, or similar), or is it still at its Windows default setting?
  3. cool... which version of the sim you're running?
  4. What is your Operating System, is it 64bit?
  5. lol, birch, balsa and rubber
  6. perhaps :) ... but there is a nicer primer on blower/ rpm use and 3 point take off
  7. RAM... run memtest
  8. Unbind 'Wheel brake Parking' for the TFT51D module Restart DCS Wheel brake Parking is reverted back to 'LAlt + LCtrl + W' Do you save the settings (1a) before restarting? (I'm assuming you try the step 1 edit from within the sim itself)
  9. I don't think its a competition, as such... natural progression is more like what it is - evolution. I saw similar VR headpieces years ago, it was similar to 640x480 very lumpy and blocky. Good to see VR about to come into its own
  10. just fly a 30 degree bank in the direction of the vertical yellow bar, to line up with the localiser... if the yellow bar is off to the right, bank right. It'll line up when centred. Unless of course, a whole bunch of "optional" green rectangles (for "training purposes") is demanded to fly in through...
  11. yeah, I have to ask about that as well... http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/pc-peripherals/monitor/gaming/LU28D590DS/XY * This monitor supports HDMI 1.4 (3840 x 2160, 30Hz) and Display Port 1.2 (3840 x 2160, 60Hz)
  12. price? funnily enough, its at a price which has not changed in years, and I mean years... happily, some would pay a grand for a vga, yet whinge about
  13. until someone (incorrectly) decides that vr has a monopoly, then its the same ol' same ol' all over again... (I never could understand a particular 3rd party file being held to ransom, in the name of free for all....)
  14. c000005 errors usually indicate memory or USB problems if you are running a USB microphone, try unplugging it ? "Sound Capture Devices --------------------- Description: Mikrofon (USB-Audiogerät) Default Sound Capture: Yes Default Voice Capture: Yes Driver Name: USBAUDIO.sys Driver Version: 6.01.7601.18208 (English) Driver Attributes: Final Retail Date and Size: 7/12/2013 12:40:58, 109824 bytes Cap Flags: 0x1 Format Flags: 0xFFFFF
  15. @Buzpilot... erm, they're doing the trade in Euro... a fatal mistake I'm not sure I understand "de-dollarization", could the OP explain further what is meant by this
  16. magic pointers for navigation as well? how about some good tutorials instead, same as for the very difficult tasks of navigation and weapons deployment? gee, tutorials with words (yes, even localised) and pictures... great stuff, very effective and respectfullylly, its not an assumption I'm making... I've said quite clearly a few times now, and I'll repeat it again now as something obviously isn't making it across the language divide - "I see merit and downside in the concept". Is it clear now?? I just haven't seen anyone convincingly sell the concept yet, all I've seen is some try to bollster a point of view through.
  17. its just the same argument repeating itself... and, sorry to say Teapot, with no real substance
  18. poppycock yourself... so would auto-targeting :music_whistling: Elevation/ azimuth... http://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/azimuth-and-elevation there you go, problem solved (took about 0.1 seconds)
  19. Thank you for making my point, Sceptre :music_whistling: no difference between them.... nice try though  too bad about the double bind
  20. unfortunately, there is nothing wrong with having an option... before long though, we'd need an option for the options -
  21. perhaps you'd like auto targeting as well, perhaps? :D
  22. I actually wrote more than that, Sceptre... anyways, there's those two magic words again... "Training Missions". Properly made Tutorials (in general) would be nice too ;) better than "arcade (as described by your other many people)" gimmickry. now, let us not bifurcate the thread into a quagmire, just because you don't appreciate someone else having an opinion different to yours, Sceptre. I can see a merit in it (as posted earlier, if you've read through properly), I can also see a downside in it, let it be at that.
  23. the .lua editor of choice should be Notepad++ can you describe how you go about your Step 1
