  1. there goes OR to outdated land
  2. I would like to see "Europe" expanded on, to the point that bomber runs could be conducted in the then Germany... Dambusters, Pathfinders/ Mosquito runs, factory bombing etc, then move over to The Pacific Theatre of Operations - to boost support and interest by way of keeping things fresh, before continuing to develop the African/ Italian Theatres. Once those areas are well underway, a move to begin creating Vietnam Era

  14. Hmmm, no - not necessarily... one disc for the Operating System and another for the sim (or any other program) has the discs working parallel to each other. So while the Op Sys is doing its thing, the other disc is doing its thing at the same time... When having both on the same disc, this means, one has to wait for the other. There has always been a marked improvement set by running two discs... a third empty disc is also a boost, as Windows will use that disc as the Page File, if left at its Default Page File Setting
  15. A family flight
  16. its not always all about business... there is professional integrity amongst peers to consider (hopefully though, due thought is also given to not creating a cartel as well) also legal issues to contend with, I assume
  17. + another 1 professionally and financially
  18. Well, I think what most, if not all "simmers" would appreciate, is a well rounded product (sure, some would take anything on offer... that's a given) but most, a highly developed authentic model. Developers, who are serious about their art, desire a product concept which can draw in their full attention. The hard part is in the merging of the two.... the difficult part is in the having of real time information for the developers to work from. Time and patience is a factor which must also be taken into account. Me? I 'm happy for whatever the DCS developers decide they would work on, to create and bring to life in a virtual world, and have the patience to allow their focus to produce such... it doesn't matter if it is WWII, or modern, or pre - modern, or anything in between or before that.
  19. Load the Operating System onto one SSD and the sim onto another SSD for the best results... leave the Page File at its Default setting. Some earlier (first/ second generation) SSD's did have some problems be sure to research and turn off certain background running apps, these can be a more than likely a source of stuttering
  20. and... where the phrase was adopted from M_eYSuPKP3Y

  23. set .exe (desktop shortcut) to Run As Administrator, or give the Root Folder - Full Permissions... have your clients do the same failing that, download and run Dependency Walker, to ascertain whether you have a 32/ 64bit system file misplacement mixup going on...
  24. Have a look at the Razer DeathAdder mouse for a good left hand unit and sorry, can't help with a LH joystick. throttle in the left, mouse in the middle and joystick on the right, with the keyboard tucked up on a sliding tray underneath (I learned in an office - mouse in the left and pen in the right)
