The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close application I did repair, biut it tells all is good. What would be the next step?

I have few issues with L-61 mod and how it works with AV-8B. Biggest one is gear damage and nose dig in when hitting the ramp. To avoid that, I have to rotate nozzles to 60 before aircrat enters curved part of ramp. If I do not, Harrier's ose digs into deck, and front gear collapses. Maybe thats how it works in real world, but it doesn't slund very safe.

I kind of view repair timing as 'time lapse', and it should affect mission time. But thats another discussion I gather there are some cheats in DCS that are not present in RW, but getting FCR mounted/dismounted, with rotors turning is comically unrealistic. An crew-chief responce of UNABLE if such rearm is requested, is appropriate in DCS. Kind of like "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" crew chief call, if player rolls aircraft with ground power attached. Something I have done on way too many occasions, as there are no indications, in pit or externally. Requiring memory as only safety. Everyone in aviation knows, that the most unreliable system in aircraft is organic control system.

Why I am 'despondent' On my rig, with carefully tuned DCS and RTX Nvidia panel settings 2560X1440 @144Hz refresh AV-8B average FPS is 120-130 FPS with 150 FPS exceeding frequently. Mirage 2000C 150-180 FPS exceeding 200 often in Nevada. 120 FPS average in South Atlantic. No other module I have approacahes those levels of peformance. RAZBAM knows how to write efficient code and make Nvidia RTX sing and dance inside DCS. Now RAZBAM and ED are feuding. -

Don't exceed 6.5G. This is before 4G 9G turn&burn era of F-teens and Mig-29. Even F-18C has 7.5G limit, though thats a FBW restriction. -

I don't really see any difference. Except a perf FPS hit of 18-20 FPS when ON. With Volume Light ON or OFF. Otherwise its same uniform fog. Not the turbulent shader in the screen caps. SoI am not sure what I need to have turned ON/OFF. -

Whats going on with OH-6A wingmen? I get crazy behavior. They don't fly in formation. AI wingman acknowledges formation commands, but does not do it. Just climbs to absurdlly high altitute and stays there. Command to engage enemy is answered with "UNABLE". -

DCS rotaries suppourt light on skids sim. I think its in OH-6A. Light on skids and skid strut bend in UH-1H and SA342 modules. KA-50, AH064D modules have suspensions. -

Dogfights of 21'st also had Airborne Laser 767 (777X in 30 years), as sort of a linebacker, picking off large enemy fighters from 200 miles with high power IR laser and high power microwave lasers. The amount of coordination between friendly package of AWACS, F-22/F-35 , F-15CX, F-15E, and OPFOR corrdination of SU-27/33/35, Mig-29, and interaction during battle would likely stress the server and bandwidth bringing battle to low FPS or high latency. The amount of user skill is partly approaching real world USAF and threat air force personel. 4 F-22, 8 F-15 missile trucks, AWACS, two tankers. 128 AIM-120C/D on Eagles, 16 on Raptors, 24 AIM-9X (2 per ship). 15 friendly aircaft and 168 missiles, for server to keep track off. 4 flight of 4 ship OPFOR SU-27/33/35 and Mig-29, Mainstay AWACS, two Midas tankers. 18 OPFOR aircraft. 8 missiles on 16 fighters for 128 OPFOR radar and IR missiles. Add ground GCI, and air defense. Figure weeks worth of work just planning and authoring the scenario.

Yikes! This is Dogfights Of 21'st Century 'missile truck'. Of course in that show the missile truck was a proposed B-1R(regional) carrying 30 or so AIM-120D for F-22's. So four F-22 or four F-35 out front get threat bearing from AWACS. They sort targets and assign priorities, then send target inventory to 8 F-15EX hundred miles behind. The missile truck Eagles 'Meagles', each carrying 16 AIM-120D, lets loose 1st voley of 8 weapons. So thats 64 weapons in flight. The enemy formation takes losses and break ups to evade. Meagles then fire second voley of 64 missiles, attrititing the enemy even more. F-22's or F-35 then engage with their own weapons. Meagles , now down to AIM-9X and guns, may either break and separate from fight or go into ACM fight.

Just got updated to 2.9.9.2474 MT. Ran 5 sessions. OH-6A works fine now. Configures, arms. Skid friction seems correct'er. Not sure if thats DCS or OH-6 mod working. I used to experience strong dynamic rollovers. Which I attributed to my inexperience with mod. As a side notre. How do skid helicopters properly interact with ATC for taxi and take off. Becouse skid helicopters have to taxi about 5 feet alt at 10 knots hovertaxi speed. But ATC considers helicotper not in contact with tarmac to be in flight. -

I was happy with OH-6A with 1.5.0 ver. Worked greak. Initially, 1.51 was even better. Then without warning, error, or logical cause, I lost ability to arm the OH-6A. In mission it would always load with , I guess, an internal default. Doors ON, no weapons, no RWR, no wire cutter. If flare dispencer geometry was visible, there would be no dispencer Arm/OFF and no dispence button.Reinatalling the 1.51, the patch, and all relevant scripts did not fix the issue. Then DCS got updated 2.9.9. 2XXX MT latest. I reinstalled 1.51. It worked for single session of DCS. After relaunching DCS sometime later, the problem of inability to arm, returned. Then reinstalled DCS fresh. Ran the latest update. Reinstalled all mods fresh. Reinstsalled OH-6A 1.51. Worked fine for two sessions. On third relaunch of DCS, inability to arm OH-6A returned. So who knows whats going on. -

Well the problem has returned. So once again. I am unable to arm the OH-6. I have not seen behavior as this. Where mpd works for some time, then stops working in part. Its not practical to keep on reinstalling DCS and then mods and liveries for sake of module. OH-6A is amazing , when it works. But as it stands, in my case, its a civilian helicopter. Even though 'civilian ' option is OFF. -

There is no way to definetively tell if a problem is DCS wide, local system issue, or mod. Now with usefull actionable information/experience average user has. You using benefit of hindsight . Which is a narcisistic character flaw, and practice which I find objectionable and irritating. -

I reinstaled fresh DCS, then updated to latest MT 2.9.9. then reinsitalled all mods and liveries. FOr now everything works. For how long I dont know. Some mods just do not work anymore for me, since MT went golden F-15C Golden Eagle is toast. UH-60L has messed up arming A number of static objects and naval assets don't work right or at all. I delete them as I discover issue. One fatal flaw in DCS is that Mission Editor requires all mods used, to be present , when mission is loaded to fly or edit. If a mod is missing that mission is gone. Cannot be loaded ot fixed, unless all the old mods are located and remporarily placed in Mod folder. Not always possible. I can understand that mission cannot be flown. But it should be loadable into editor for fixing. -

Doesn't matter. Either way. I tried it. Same issue. v.1.51 worked properly once . But in subsequent sessions, it fails to work properly. -

It is messed up. So I updated DCS to lattest 2.9.9.228 MT, then reinstalled OH6 1.51 mod then 1.51 patch. Then created new fresh mission with freshly placed OH6 unit with gun, doors removed, flare dispencer, RWR, and wire cutter. Worked once! Just once. Flew mission. Quit DCS. Some time alter relaunched new DCS session. Flew same mission. Problem returned. OH6 cannot be armed. Can only be refueled. Created new fresh mission. Same problem. In mission, OH6 payload, except fuel, is ignored. Flare dispencer is visible, but cockpit has no dispenser Arm switch, and no dispencer button. No gun, no sight. So mod is mssed up. -

My system is refurbed HPZ workstation C system drive is HP 256GB PCI-Express SUperDrive D is application 1TB SSD G: is 6TB storage. I never had a DCS space error until now. So gotta retarget download folder to G -

I just installed the latest DCS 2.9.9.2280 MT. 200GB of longXXX download time,, then freshly reinstalled 1.51 OH-6, then 1.51 patch. I still cant arm OH-6. Even though I optn for wirecutters, and flare dispenser. There is no flare dispenser On/OFF in cockpit anymore or dispense button. This build of OH-6A is messed! I did everything right. THe mod is messed up. -

200GB for update. You sirs have got be 'being roughly intimate' with us! Average hard disk is 1TB. So one update is 1/5th of average hd.
