  1. A cosmetic pod would still be very nice to have. It improves immersion, and allows for more accurate missions, and cinematics. I can see why it's low priority tho

  3. Both you and your buddy must have the F-14 installed. The crew pack should come with 2 activation keys. Use one for your account, and the other one for his. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221902 Once you and your buddy have the F-14 running on both accounts, join a multiplayer server, and you'll be able to fly together
  4. Basicly what Xenovia and VC said. If you enjoy WW2 aircraft, the tomcat will hit much closer to home than any FBW aircraft It also has most of it's systems and weapons simulated, which prevents negative learning, and gives you much more to work with right off the start, even if in the end, the Tomcat will be nowhere near as advanced system wise when compared to other teen series aircraft Got both the 14 and the 18 btw

  7. I may not be HB, but i belive that means the A and the B will have different pits. I don't know how accurate this is tho, so don't take my word for it.

  9. In that case, it's not a bug. Remember your tail sticks out from the deck on elevator starts, and the tail is where your radar altimiter is located (it's closest to ground on landing, besides landing gear)
  10. As much as I, and i m sure many more people as well, would like to get the D (giggidy), it's unlikely to happend. And if it does, it would require a lot of systems being at least partially redone, like the sparrowhawk hud, the newer radar, etc. It's easier to make the A and the B, than the B and the D. Honestly, i m happy we're getting 2 variants in the 1st place, and while the D would be nice to have, i think the B manages just fine, and the A will offer a lot more in mission making capabilities, as well as present a challange to a lot of expierienced people. TL;DR: Probably not gonna happend, even tho a lot of people would love it

  12. Oh, and rambling jester on refueling is a known issue. For the time being, you can tell jester to shut it thru jester menu under crew (one of the last submenus. Don't remember the name)->jester silent (or something like that)
  13. As for empty bags rearming stuff, it's a DCS bug afaik, and affects all aircraft. I'd reccomend dropling your bags on approach, but if you don't wanna break the immersion, double rearm is the only way (that i know of).

  15. This is a rather minor bug, that shouldnt affect actual gameplay, but here goes. In singleplayer, if you go into the RIO seat, and eject only yourself, leaving the pilot inside, and then press F1 to toggle between the pilot and the RIO, you will not have any control over the aircraft, and will see the low poly pilot body, as seen from outside, and on ejected pilots. Here's an exact list of things i've done to achieve this. Didn't make any further tests, cause i ran out of time, but hopefuly you guys will be able to make more of it. -spawn airborne tomcat -jettison canopy (oops) -hop into back seat -eject rio -press F1 to toggle between pilot and rio -notice no control in the pilot seat, and low poly pilot body, despite high poly cockpit and same textures as in the cockpit. As i said, it's a minor bug barely anyone will run into, nor will it ruin many moments, but i thought i'd bring it up anyway. Also, thanks a lot for the amazing module the F-14 is, and for active community managment! You guys rock!

  17. Do we actually need so many sticky threads on this forum section? It makes browsing thru here tedious, and i find it hard to belive people come here to watch the tomcat's release trailer (as glorious as it was), or see the early access feature list, a couple months after release. I don't know if this topic belong right here, so if it doesnt, i m sorry, but i thought i'd bring it up in the forum section it affects.
  18. You can break the ins entirely with too much g, but when that happends, the entire top center screen (unless set to TCS) goes black, leaving only basic symbology. If it only tilts, it will still respond to aircraft movement, but with a large error in the system.
  19. Yes, it's caused by over G. It can happend even when you don't black out, but essentially, your INS system cannot take such G without introducing error to the system. I m not entirely sure why, but it has to do with the INS unit being old tech. You should see your standby attitude indicator still shows true when this happends And if the error is big enough, your TWS phoenix shots may miss their targets, afaik

  23. If you depress the weapon selector (either by a dedicated key bind, or pressing select sidewinder again) you can select which missile you want to fire. It'll be displayed on the ACM panel. The checkerboarded station is selected for firing, or in this case, turning on smoke. Simply select aim-9, press the trigger, select the other aim-9, and press the trigger again
  24. Quick question. Is there any way to fire weapons (more specificly, the cannon) with weight on wheels, like on the warthog?
