  1. Honestly, I would have been happy with the three we'll see in EA myself. These days, the most I see in a mission are 2 Nimitz-class carriers anyway.
  2. Will the lighting changes planned for 2.5.6 affect daytime lighting at all, or are they purely nighttime changes? Any day changes planned for the new lighting scheme/configuration?
  3. They've not asked for any sort of monetary contribution, the collective community is just asking how we can expand this mod, if possible. The initial planes were bought by someone and converted. We're just asking if it's possible to increase the scope is all as a community contribution.
  4. I would be as well. One of the better mods out there, by far.
  5. I'm thinking we'll see the lighting changes first, damage model after 2.5.6's debut.
  6. While I'd love a -29K..favorite plane in F2.5...I don't think they'd be able to model the newest versions going to India (requiring another carrier, although that might not be out of reach now) and supposedly replacing the Su-33's for Russia. I really hope it's a mainstream REDFOR fighter more than anything, just have a feeling it'll be Blue.
  7. If improved land-based ATC is implemented/sorted by the end of the year, then Supercarrier will have earned it's purchase easily for me. Not gonna hold my breath though. :D
  8. Full fidelity F-15C.
  9. Uninstalled mine, since I have FC3.
  10. Will the additional airfields be limited to ALG's or will there be any TAD or R&R strips as well?
  11. The current Stennis is a "module", technically, as you interact with it through radio communications. As is every other F/A-18 or flyable plane in a mission as well, such as wingmen. Sounds like your Viggen and probably even DCS went through some optimizations along the way, too, allowing you to fly it on the same computer. And, I'm sure ED's happy to hear their brand new F-16 looks an early 1990's model. :D It might be best for you to wait and see the first reports after it's released, if Supercarrier brings people's PC's to it's digital crawling point before buying it. I don't think ED's going to change their recommended or minimum PC specs just yet. :)
  12. You've mentioned the F-14 as your example of "two module" problems, yet the F-14 is the exception and not the rule when it comes to FPS. It is a PC power hungry module, using large textures to look like it does, which is fantastic. Are you having the same problems with the F/A-18 you run on the High settings you mention without a hiccup when there's another module around you? Say a F-5 or the new F-16? How is it on the current Stennis with other F/A-18 modules nearby?
  13. Are there .psd templates for the helmets and pilot suits available?
  14. You'd think with having their very own carrier module, having more possible modules to interact with it, such as a F-4J series Phantom, would be planned. Not sure if any of the TR subclass carriers had Phantoms on them, but the earlier ones did. Perfect chance to re-package the current/soon to be old Stennis into a re-branded Nimitz/Phantom package to open 2022 with.
  15. I would like to see them for making AI bases in the hinterlands/edges of maps to expand possible scenarios on all maps, with a collection of airfield assets to use for regular fields as well, for both modern and WWII scenes.
  16. I'm hoping those crewmen and objects we've seen in the past come along as part of the new Kuznetsov.
  17. This. I'd buy one is a second. Dual seating with multiplayer cockpits or AI co-pilot in singleplayer. Make two versions, passenger/logistics interior(s) to integrate into dynamic campaigns for the future, on and offline. Get shot down in your last mission? Fit enough to report back to duty, you say? Glad to hear it. We'll be giving you a ride back out to the new Supercarrier on the next Greyhound flight along with the mail. :D
  18. To land the F-14 on the new Supercarrier, you will have to penetrate it's formidable defenses, including the new Arleigh Burke, and bomb it into submission with at least 3 bomb hits before the ATC will clear you to land. You will then be able to plant your own flag, a HB-fashioned Jolly Roger, on it ONLY after catching a 3-wire and then you can land there from now on. /s :D
  19. Is that the Navy objects mod in the User Files section you're talking about?
  20. Was curious if there were any plans for having power/generator models "connect/disconnect" to the Tomcat when requested through the ground crew, since it requires them to start? Especially on the Forrestal(s)? I know it's something closer March 11th 2021 on the "Date To Do" list, if it's even there. Just wondering. :)
  21. I'll try to record it so you can see it step by step. There's no other inputs controlling pitch/roll or AP functions. I've found a way to clear it so I can fly normally, but I'll make it do it again. :)
  22. I think the cat launch crews are/will be automatic from previous comments, you'd think it would include AI since many enjoy the single player experience...maybe a selectable setting at least or a total on/off selection?
  23. If you're talking about that Autopilot Emergency Disconnect, that's the only thing I've found that will reset everything back to the pre-AP state. If I reset the Engage switch alone, does nothing. Engage and Alt together? Nothing. But, after mapping that Emergency Disconnect to a command, I reset the P/R AFCS switches and it flies fine.
  24. All stability control stays on. I'll double check it though again. As long as I don't use the AP, it's fine the entire flight time.
  25. It does it every time I use AP/ALT (only mode I really use, going to check others today). Only way for me to clear that mechanical feel is to get out of the plane and start the mission again.
