This script is great but I notice it doesn't work with a couple of F-16's that I'm wanting to respawn. I have their name as __RESPAWN__F-16 Flight and they are picked up in the debugging text at the start. When they are shot down the group dead isn't shown though (possibly because they ejected?) Is there something I should do for aircraft?

That's happened to me in a hover above a town. The heli just stayed there, no one able to help, suspended in the air. The tank probably shot the ATGM which explodes and took out the cockpit only. Pretty good IMHO.

Yeah then it would be heading towards an RTS module which would be interesting!

Unfortunately you can't place a cargo container on a ship in the editor and if you sling one out onto it, it disappears as soon as you unhook =(

Awesome a ship at anchor then. I'll settle for that.

I have a question that I meant to try out - Can you put a cargo package on the deck of a ship so it can be sling loaded to shore? Would that be an awesome challenge? Or vice versa - from shore to a ship? I doubt it can be done but would be great to add in =)

I played the first F-15C mission and can report a massive drop in FPS during the first mission, fine about half way through and then by the time I'm starting the descent it's terrible. I noticed that the FPS shot up to normal when I pressed F2 to be out of the cockpit. Back in the cockpit about 12FPS, then 60FPS when I press F2. Anyone else have this?

Being able to setup keybinds in game is a big plus, especially when new aircraft come out.

You probably need to set the trim slightly forward. The centre position of the cyclic has the helicopter moving backwards, probably due to the centre of gravity. So before take off, push forward slightly and trim and then start the take off. Press right CTRL + Enter to see where your axis are

So I just did a reinstall of DCS after moving to Windows 8 and now I have wind sounds in the cockpit while it's open during a ramp start. Also the radio menu has highlighting to show which options are tuned in and also shows the Mhz for each ATC. Maybe I still have simple radio options enabled or are these two new features?

Looks like nonsense to me. Just remember that the mind has a cognitive bias to see patterns and relationships where there are none. It is easy to believe there is objective proof in far fetched ideas by using a highly constructed narrative over the obvious and more simple explanation. Also note the use of non sequiturs whereby something strange is somehow evidence supporting the conspiracy.

A-10C's tracking lasers? The L stands for missile 'L'aunch on the RWR. Or am I missing something?

I've worked on this a bit and it was an issue across all sims. cpu and gpu sitting idle while the fps is really bad. I've since done a completely cold reboot and i'm back up over 60FPS under the same test. go figure.

I've added a single unit to a blank map and inside the cockpit I drop to 18-24 fps. It's awful. Outside the aircraft it jumps up to over 60fps. 4770k @ 4.3ghz 8GB ram @ 1866mhz GTX 680 4 GB DCS on SSD Argh!
