After being punished for getting the Black Shark 2 upgrade and then getting the Black Shark 2 full version on top (is that kind of three purchases of the same aircraft?), I won't be supporting DCS modules at full price anymore. If ED have set their strategy on a High/Low model I'll shop accordingly.

I play eurotruck simulator 2 simply to drive in the rain with 3Dvision on...

Once the new graphics engine is done and the dedicated server is released the MMO style may come down to some enhancements to the scripting engine and a fancy mission maker =)

Hi guys, The OCB server is back up and running. You can join us on our server. We mostly fly the A-10C and BS2 but I'm having a lot of fun in the newly enhanced A-10A.

Can anyone tell me how to enable PAC in the A-10A? I can see the switches but not sure if it's implemented in FC3. Thanks!

Updating our server now! I'd like to throw my hat in the ring as someone who would convert over to Steam. I guess since it's F2P I'd just need to download DCS:W again through steam and add my keys in the module manager right?

Fixed it by turning off Stereoscopic 3d in the nvidia control panel.

My FPS is half inside the cockpit now in a mission that was just me and 6 ground targets. I had about 15fps in the cockpit and 50+ fps outside in the A-10C. Any ideas?

So not avoiding the launch but defeating one already in flight? I may be wrong but I think the A-10 lacks the speed to get a sam on the wing and then break inside it's turning circle. I usually just dive turn and use countermeasures.

You might be thinking of pictures from Desert Storm of Walleye bombs which were TV guided. Modern day pictures are from targeting pods etc on the actual aircraft.

Yep this campaign sets a very high bar for other modules! I'd love a Mi-8 or F-18C campaign that meets this quality, even if it doesn't involve firing a shot....

I'd love a DCS A-10C campaign that was the same quality as the BS or Huey ones. There's lots of voice over and story there.

Get LOCK-ON MODERN AIR COMBAT (lomac) It's a Ubisoft product that Flaming Cliffs expands on. You should be able to find it on ebay etc. It's not a DCS product exactly.

I have to say I did purchase the BS2 full version on special even though I had the upgrade already. It was just too tempting. I loaded up the module manager and it pops up with 'You have a new module available, do you want to download it?' It's then smart enough to download the 1.6MB difference between the upgrade and the full version and done in less than 20seconds. AWESOME!

ED are selling the aircraft separately for those don't have LOMAC and also so they can sell them on Steam. If you have FC3 you won't need to purchase these aircraft separately but if you want the AFM there is likely going to be a small upgrade cost to get it. Since FC3 is getting the A-10A AFM in 1.2.5 you DONT need to buy the A-10A: DCS Flaming Cliffs module at all.

Set the desired heading to the runway heading after your turn onto the runway and the autopilot channels will hold it for you. Set it by tapping the trimmer.
