Yo antes tenia la 1060, y si le dejas Pixel Density a 1, y las opciones grafiicas bajas, pues se puede volar, aunque en el Hornet andaras mal para leer el HUD y los MFD, tendras que tirar de VR Zoom todo el rato. Ahora con la 1660Ti, le he subido el Pixel densiity, y ya mejora la legibilidad del HUD y MFDs, y las opciones gracias no he cambiado, pero creo que se ve mas chulo pq lo han optimizado. Seguramente ahora con la 1060 vaya mejor ahora que cuando yo la tenia. Eso si, lo de la torancia a FPS bajos en VR, y todo el tema de los mareos es un mundo y cambia para cada persona, asi que hasta que no lo pruebes no sabras. Ademas hay un proceso de adaptacion, tus primeros vuelos en VR hazlos en altura y con giros suaves, y ve poco a poco, cada vez mas bajo y con mas giros ...

Can someone give a good strategy for this ? I have tryed several things an nothing works ...

On X-Plane I only use my touchs, and I love it, because I don't do acrobatics, and I mainly use trim ... But for DCS and IL-2, HOTAS is MUST, you need ACCURACY for dogfights, evading misiles, diving for bombing while AAA firing at you, etc, and that can't be done properly with touchs. The day we can use HOTAS and hands/gloves for the cockpit will be great, but a HOTAS is must !!!!! X-Plane was my first flight sim, and after that I tryed VTOL, and really didn't like the control with touchs, so I decided to buy a HOTAS to engage combat flight sims. Of course it can be done, like you can play simracing with a gamepad, but if I don't a have a wheel, I prefer to play an arcade racer. And if I don't have a HOTAS, i don't play a combat flight sim, I'll play Ace Combat instead. The key is SIMULATION !!!! That said, DCS has also an arcade mode, and that with dumb AI, maybe there it can be done with touchs. But it seems that will be soon a separate product, MAC.

Definitely not easy for me ... I had to repeat the fourth mission (called mission 3 often here) 5 times ... :pilotfly: And the Fifth one, I'va already tried 4 times and still not done. But I'm having fun with each repetition. I really recomend this campaign to people that just started with this module.

For those with big/small IPD's, maybe Quest will work soon, with an USB-C cable, the Beta starts next month, I'll try it with DCS ASAP, and I'll report in the forum. Also in OC6 they announced hand tracking for Quest, if they finally release it for Rift S too (I guess that yes), I don't think Waggs could resist to add suport for it in DCS ;)

The radios are easy, like every other one plane, I used them yestarday without training. I'll look for the 2 other things. Finally I'll play other misions before, Stone Shield, Sturmovik, OPF, and finally TEW, the cherry the last thing you eat from the pie. After that I hope to have some proficiency ... and if not, I'll play the Red Flag one !!!!! :lol: Thanks everyone for the comments :)

Thanks, I'll do that !!!! Yesterday I tried the other one included with the module, Georgian Hammer, and didn't like too much, quite of a Kaos too close to the airport ... Then I started Stone Shield, and it's perfect for a begginer, it's a little like the training missions, but with some "decoration" instead of the instructions.

On VR you can easily adjust your position, being so close was really awfull. You just go Forward, and the push the "Recenter VR" button, they should add something like that for people without VR, that works in very module, not just this one.

If you get a Rift S instead of a Cosmos, maybe you can have VR & Warthog The resolution is not that different, and Matt Wagner loved the Rift S, wso it will have good support for DCS ;)

I just started with the A-10C and I'm very surprised how well it flights !!!!! I don't get this Warthog surname, I don't know what modules you used before this one, but I come from a C-101, and I'm amazed how well the A-10C turns, and how well it mantains energy when manouvering over targets

What are the prerequisites for this campaign ? Do I need to know perfectly all the systems of the A-10C, or just with the in-game tutorials is enought ?

It really suck that you have to restart the mission because of mistakes ... you don't understand the last thing the instructor said, don't worry, you repeat everything ...

Falsa alarma, que hay un MOD posterior que es estático y si que funciona, y ese parece que es el que requieren las misiones, mirate de nuevo el hilo.

Edito: Vale, era simplemente que lo tania instalado en la carpeta que no era. Yo hablaba de un MOD anterior que era animado, este es estatico y si funciona. La cosa es que esto empezo como algo de HeatBlur, y lo sacaron como MOD para el Early Access, pero al final cuando ED decidio cogerlo y hacerlo un modulo de por sí, con la alguna de las actualizaciones el MOD dejo de funcionar: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3840166&postcount=76
