Mura effect on an LCD display ? That's really weird !!!!!! The cromatic aberration outside the sweet spot was expected ...

You know guys, DEVs have also a life, they are not bots working 24/7 ... They have holydays, etc. Even if something is only 40h away of being finished, it may take a month sometimes. Sometimes they can work 160h on a week, because they are pasionate about their jobs, but that's not healthy and they shouldn't do that over long periods

Now we must be afraid that engineering and manufacturing units are as competent as the business unit :music_whistling:

Eager to see the reviews from DCS users !!!!
-
That can be very interesting, I hope it arrives soon
-
Maybe some people are scared to start with DCS ... and they'll start with MAC, and if they like it, they can make the jump to DCS.
-
How do you know that ?
-
I have been like that for months, but I just used DCS to flight and see landscapes. BTW, I didn't have the problem of the F/A-18 not being stable, so maybe there is a problem with you Xbox controller. Now I have a HOTAS, and it's completly different beast the game, you should find a way to mount a HOTAS.

Bien bien, la familia Flanker va a quedar bien servida !!!!

When Rift CV1 launched, it was the state of the art on VR displays and lenses ... Rift S is not a bad HMD, but will get outdated very quickly. Even on launch there will be HMDs like the reverb with better resolution on "Pixels Per Degree" Seeing Rift S will not be available when HP Reverb launches, wait for the Reverb reviews on launch, if you only play Fligh Simulators. If you play games with touch controllers, the Rift S is a better option.

Very interesting this "Cranking" thing ... It would be nice to have a table of the max cracking angles for each plane/radar/mode, not only for the missiles you launch, but for knowing how much can "crank" your target after firing you.

PPD is the king, once they hit some PPD , they can increase the FOV ...

[NO BUG] [FALSE-POSITIVE] Virus alert. Beware Installing F14B

Seeing your arguments and your vocabulary, I would rather think you are 17 years old ... -
There are some nice training misions as DLC, agressors and Red Flag, that make you understand the feeling of NTTR and Nellis AFB. It's sad there no some free missions that make you feel that ... I think it would be good for ED and users. I bought the map mainly because I like VFR flying, and I thougt Las vegas, Hover dam, Great Cañon, Area 51 could be fun just to fly over. I though combat missions there would be dumb. I just bought a red flag campaign to verify that my feelings were right, and OMG, I was so wrong, NTTR is really a special place for military aviation, now I understand why they choosed it ...

Maybe it's already enabled on DCS ... we don't know until ED tell us if they are providing the depth information to the Oculus SDK, like Unreal and Unity do :) "As such, most Rift apps on the Oculus Store built on Unreal Engine 4 and Unity already provide the depth information required to make ASW 2.0 work" https://www.oculus.com/blog/introducing-asw-2-point-0-better-accuracy-lower-latency/ What they don't tell in the blog, if we need tu update the runtime or if it will work already with the 1.36 ...

Are you sure ? He said he found an issue, not he made optimizacion. Maybe the issue is related to VR, that you must render the image twice, and something related to terrain was made twice too without being needed, and the improvement is only for VR. Maybe not, but don't hype people, he just said 50% improvement on VR.

2080Ti + 50% .... you are gonna need a Reverb too ;)

When asked about the product page, Valve confirmed its accuracy and added some clarity around the “Knuckles” controllers, which are now called the Valve Index Controllers and will ship with the device in June. “The tech info on that page, while not comprehensive, is accurate,” Valve spokesman Doug Lombardi told The Verge.

I hope so !!!! Maybe thanks to the vulkan port they found this issue, but doesn't seem to be thanks to vulkan the improvement.
-
Vulkan is comming, to many games, but it's not easy, and It's a lot of work !!!! The latest news about it con DCS was this some days ago: "The Last update on Vulkan is that the Base Engine was Complete, and work had started on Converting all of the Shaders and textures to the new API" https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3848803&postcount=5

That was a prototype, you can have something above specs for experimenting, but for mas production, you have to use the cheapest chip that will do the job. In USB, they say min requirements USB 2.0, and in the specs USB 3.0 Por DP, they say DP 1.2 in min reqs, and the specs DP 1.2 too ... SPECs are SPECs.
-
And if you play a Coop mision with friends that don't have it, you can't use it all ? The free option is for ensure that people who paid for it can fully enjoy it allways.
