I watched Bunyaps video about TILS approaches and pretty sure I know how to do it. The runway heading shows up fine on the radar screen but the HUD tries to steer me to the right of the runway at a slight angle and I don't get any glide path indication on the ADI.

Are you able to make the triggers a bit bigger? I tried this mission 3 times then gave up.

Did this not make it? I can't see an option for it.

Thanks Pikey, I'll take a look at your mods. It would also be great if there were some kind of invisible area we could place on the ground that would allow planes to park, turn around and re arm/refuel.

Remember the Av8B Harrier is also coming too, hopefully in the next few months. I'm no programmer but is it really much of a huge effort to allow planes to start on the ground considering helicopters were changed only recently to allow this.

In anticipation for the Viggen I had a play with the mission editor and found that planes can't start from roads. I was trying to re create a remote base like the Swedes do but it's impossible to start from the ground. You can land easily enough and taxi into a base but can't start on the ground. It would be great if planes could also rearm without being at an airbase also. Perhaps it could be linked to a fuel truck or other unit being placed nearby.

Will there be a campaign or any missions at release?

I've been away from the the mi8 for a while but I've come back to learn it again. I've noticed that the heading hold is causing me problems. If I turn the heading channel off every now and then it will turn itself back on again all by itself. It doesn't seen particularly effective either now.

I ended up buying it in the sale. It's such a frustrating campaign at the moment with very limited briefings that sometimes contradict what is on your knee board. The triggers sometimes don't work and I've had to re play some of the missions a few times as I couldn't finish. It's got potential but I hope it gets some polish soon.

I think you are right, you can't edit dlc missions. I can use the mission planner to add the door gunners it seems I can't add civilian traffic.

I bought 'The border' campaign for the MI8 and it needs some work to get it right. I wanted to add door gunners to the missions and some civilian traffic. I can open the missions in the editor but I can't save them. Is it possible to change DLC campaign missions?

Awesome work Mr Dragon! My only criticism is you haven't made any more campaigns for me to buy yet (already finished your A10 campaign). Looking forward to the next one.

I have this all the time in mp. I can see the target but the radar will not pick it up no matter what I do. Sometimes even if I see a contact on the screen I can't bug it to lock it up.

I also had this problem where no one taxi's unless you start another mission, exit then start mission 9. It works perfectly after that. Unfortunately I had the exact same problem for mission 10 too.

Don't want to speak too soon but it seems to be working fine now. I uninstalled everything Nvidia then reinstalled the newest drivers. So far it hasn't gone to a black screen after a few hours whereas before it would every 10 minutes. Thanks for your help everyone. I was using a Gigabyte GTX 770 before. My new Inno3d GTX 1070 says it has GDDR5 Samsung memory.

No. Bios as in mother board bios. My board is asus so I got it from their site.

I've done a bit of checking and it seems you could be right. I'll try to update the bios and see how I get on. It's an inno3d card BTW.

I got a new GTX 1070 for Christmas and have only just fitted it. Every now and then (seems random) the screen goes black for about 3 seconds then comes back to normal. I get a pop up box telling me that the driver has stopped responding but has fixed itself, or something like that. I'm using Nvidia 376.19 drivers. Any idea?
