  1. Ahh, I used that option to step the zoom in the A10, useful if you know what your doing, but my brain found it difficult;)

    Hi guys

Back on your feet for 2.5:thumbup: Great to hear your docs are optimistic and pleased Keep posting:poster_spam:
  3. I would rather have a catapult launched Hurricaine :)
  4. I had 20% curve on the pitch axis as I had similar problems as the OP, without VR I also added a curve to the rudder pedals for the same reasons as bongodriver. I have also reinstalled the spring in my warthog stick and this has made a huge difference to the flying of it, so much so that I will be removing the pitch curve. Lord only knows how my chopper flying will suffer having a sprung joystick again:joystick:
  5. I am sorry the mission is for the Caucasus map, DCSW 1.5 and not NTTR DCSW 2.0 But just practice, you can watch the track of yourself back and see if there are any thing you can do better. :)
  6. In the control panel for the Spitfire you assign your key bindings and joystick set up. You can tweak the axis settings with the axis tune button.
  7. I use the warthog paddle I know its no help to X55 user but it is still only pressing a button, just release often to save brake binding. I tried the slider in axis but was unable to assign it for some reason.
  8. I put the takeoff assist back on, its the only way I can take off:music_whistling: What a lovely plane:thumbup:
  9. I was having trouble with ghostly pedal inputs but found I had an assistance for take off set to 100%. Going to try again without it and will report back
  10. Took off successfully had a wee fly and went to dogfight mission. I imagine I will be doing a lot of this for a while:)
  11. Its live now:)
  12. Waiting patiently copying DCS_Updater.exe update into the Dosbox and browsing for a new gaming chair:smilewink:
  13. That is a very special thing mate:) My friend once worked for the Viz editor and he got me a handdrawn Fat Slags birthday card but its lost now:cry:
  14. Of course it is but is biased towards the Spitfire :) At the moment I know very little about the details of the Spit so I lap up every video I can find to glean interesting or important snippets:thumbup:
  15. WOW just WOW:bounce::worthy:
  16. I am going to reread first light while I learn the spit. Brilliant book. I have not read the other but am halfway through Johnnie Johnson s wing leader to coincide with Bunyaps video series and skimming through 6 armies in Normandy but it's rather heavy:)
  17. The grumpy old men MP club ;) Just a youth here 51 in may:thumbup:
  18. As there is nowhere I can find for Spitfire video's I thought I would start a thread:) I just watched this one and I found it very illuminating and quite moving. Our American cousins in particular should enjoy it And this one I watched yesterday again an informative and enjoyable watch
  19. Looks great, don't forget the plimsoll line;)
  20. Is the boost a seperate lever than the throttle? I thought the boost increased with RPM but am obviously mistaken
