IRL you can get both range and bearing from the 135 weather or not it is equipped with MPRS? enjoy the holidays brother and keep pumping out those pod casts. We did not have the transmit/receive TACAN for air refueling in the KC-135 like the KC-10 has! We were getting range only but would have the receiver on the radar so we know position.

  6. we ran across an issue last night in a pvp mission that my group ran. not sure if this is a bug or intended. we had an airfield that was used as a red side base/target for blue side but set to neutral to prevent rearming to force red side to go back to home base to rearm. red side was still able to rearm at this airfield. I did some testing and the track files from those tests are attached. the gist of it is if you have coalition static or AI units on a neutral airfield that coalition can rearm/refuel. rearm test 1.trk rearm test 2.trk rearm test 3.trk
  7. Clock.trk here is a screen shot for quick comparison. if you try to spawn before the allowed time the clock difference is rellated to the difference in time before the allowed time from when you tried to spwan. if you try after the allowed time the clocks match.

  9. seams there are some issues with ground starts at airbases. most of my AC do not spawn unless set to ramp. hornets spawn Ai instead of statics in this instance and are facing the wrong direction. i have been doing my testing on the caucasus map. has anyone else experienced this.

  12. the group i'm in has 6 squadrons currently and we try to have one per squadron. that leaves only 2 left unless we put down a hog which has 4 additional to the standard 8. befoer the update we were able to have our custom callsigns wit sound files. was pretty cool to be able to call out Bengal 1-1 ready pre-contact

  14. i switched to intel for this reason. couldn't figure out the settings
  15. i know there was a tv show called eight is enough but when it comes to call signs it is not. we need more and what would be even better is if we had the ability to do custom call signs in ME. with 2.7 the call sign mod in the user files is broken which was pretty clutch for the group i'm in. we were able to add custom callsigns via the mod for each of our squadrons.

  17. one thing that has baffled me since i started playing DCS is the lack of the Mk83 AIR. it was one of the more common weapons used on the hornet in ODS and OIF from what i've heard from USMC ordies that i know. Has there ever been a reason given why we have not received this bomb for the hornet. i know the 3d model is already in game.
  18. do you run multiple monitors in game? i do and was having this issue as well as a mismatch of map coordinates. switched to a single monitor set up and both problems went away.
  19. also may be related to multimonitor set ups. i run 4 monitors in game. when i switched to a single monitor set up the problem went away.
