No you are doing nothing wrong. Main focus of the actual ffb implementation is the trim system. I can have a look to add other effects. But that will take some time.

Beacons from Triggers won't work with the OH-6. UH-1 and MI-8 are official modules OH-& is a mod without SDK

The OH-6A is equipped with a ADF System. The device is at the mainpanel close to the fuel indicator. Switch the power knob (Off/ADF/ANT/LOOP) to ADF. Tune in the AM frequency (Display is in kHz). There are 3 bands (0.19-0.40, 0.40-0.84, 0.84-1.7 MHz), The indicator above the Tune Knob show the signal level. Since this is done without SDK one will not hear signals. Only beacons which are placed in ME are available. What happend?

Happy that you enjoy the oh-6. The radio system is in a state which can't be improved without SDK. The radios work and you can dial in ADFs which comes with the mission.

Yes we have a rotorbrake but it is fictional

Radios work for towers. Just dial them in and set up the intercom. See the readme for details. Turn down engine, stop rotor and open the door for groundcrew. It has not in reallife but the mod has for convenience

It does not matter how open source works (this is not open source it is my IP you are asking here for) It is how the world works and crime works. The open source community won't sue anyone for me in case some one uses it off licence. It is ridiculous tbh. Let's move on.

Thank you for the explantion but I am very aware of this and I know very well that there is a difference between free and open source software. It is a clear decision to make it free but not open source. I am wondering why I really have to discuss this here. Do you really believe that some who would like to take the code does not take it and compile it to a non readable binary because it is a GPL licence??? Sounds like letting doors open and putting a sign please don't steal something. Nobody said the oh-6 won't be maintained. No DCS update had negative impact on the mod til now. Open source won't happen To be honest, I think it's pretty cheeky to ask so insistently.

I don't think you can talk about leaving quickly here. I was thinking about for several month now. I have put a lot of my free time into these topics for more than 5 years. I have written an exporter that has made many other mods possible, I have helped with many mods and even if it was only small things and there is still a complete helicopter with good quality for a piece of software given as a gift, which does not get any new features for the time being but is still maintained. I think that's more than one should ask for. I can at least say that I can go into modding retirement with a clear conscience.
