@ flybull mine looks fine - I had this before, remove the shader folder and itll work

will try it next time!! @Eldur: When doing a proper preflight and coordinate typing etc the fatigue is modeled in front of the computer ;)

hey guys, I just tried to build a suitable carrier environment with lots of AI hornets... when doing a refuel/rearm on the carrier planes will not start againg but disappear after the refuel/rearm delay... anyone having the same issue and/or a solution? best regards

found sth similar...but somehow i am not able to reproduce it... but the control display to the lower left also showed me what could be described as a "dead-zone" but exeeding it the input is as there wouldn't be any... so as i am not able to reproduce it we have to do further investigation...

hey guys, as I was testing the awesome Harpooooone on the Hornet I found the smoke from the damage and the exhaust from the russion aircraft carrier pointing in opposite directions. The wind is comming right to left, so the carrier exhaust is correct. The smoke from the Rezky is locked to the ships movement without any influence by the wind. best regards

there is some hyper realistic game out there...unmatched graphics, immersive gameplay...highly detailed physics and all player move on the same map...in realtime... Only negative aspect...it has limited respawn capabilites...

thanks for you ideas! Ill have a look next ime im in DCS.

are there any default attack profiles for level LGB deployment to evade AAA/SAMs without loosing line of sight to the target? When I try to turn by 90° after release, even at high alt., I loose LOS to the target some seconds before impact. The LGB hits with small deviation due to the lasing is broken at terminal phase. I assume this gets worse when having the TPOD on the cheek station. Do you guys have any suggestions? best regards

hey guys, is there a way to set both TOO coordinates via the TPOD for two pickles on two targets in one run? best regards SirJ

I found it matches w/out any external fuelpods attached. My guess would be there are some differences in terms of fuel calculation of the external fuel storages... when you select external fuel pods and a random fuel quantity percentage which is not 100%...the fuelpods added are at 100%... it looks like that the loadout manager calculates the external tanks as full to calculate the weight... So maybe the

you guys made my day :D :D calm down and enjoy the game... btw: I am an aerospace engineer ... and as said before DCS is very plausible in terms of wing design and stiffness structres in different parts of the wing...in terms of weapon stations, wing root momentum etc... as said before...just enjoy the game...

You can try uning zoom...Which is anoying because you have to rezoom every time... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201471 they got the same question...so maybe you get some luck there The Lua seems to be A/C specific so make sure you get the right section

highjacking again: any way to input ° ' ''.** into precise coords in the HSI instead of ° ' .**** ? so matching both systems to the same coord type?

will the impact angle change the flight profile (without the terminal approach of cause)?
-
what weight was your hornet? try to increase it (max fuel, lots of mk84..) then you should see a bigger difference due to higher AoA in level flight -> way more induced drag...

You can also make sure to enable the Intel Turbo boost option, which will give you a few extra x00 MHz, while temps are still in range - this works quite good for me (9600K). The turbo depends on the number of cores which are active - so when you disable maybe half your cores you get another GHz invrease. I used to do it, but somehow DCS 2.5.5 is able to utilize >80% CPU - at least at Caucasus - got the 9600K from 4.1 default Turbo @ all to 4.6GHz (with bequite air cooling) Verdict: use Turbo Boost try to disable cores to further increase clock speed

nice video... Try to fly some 100ft behind the S3, and creep your way from one side to the other...due to the vortex'es you will never make it to "the other side". the turbulent air will roll you always towards the wing tips of the tanker. maybe I will make a vid tomorrow

This morning I tried approaching from below using the Viking as a gas station. It worked quite well in terms of approach - while taking fuel and staying loooow on the hose it was ok - when climbing maybe 10ft the wake was close to not manageable... Perhaps ED will dial in the parameteres in the future.

Compared to RL examples where a Gulfstream was flipped by the wakes from an (long gone A380)

Are there any plans to allow DCS to use multiple cores?
SirJ replied to MobiSev's topic in DCS Core Wish List
After the 2.5.5 update I have maxed out CPU load from DCS >>90% CPU 6C/6T 9600K... At least at Caucasus map - PG still is at 30% CPU -
is the precise limited to JDAM or also avail. on waypoints?
-
perhaps I got fooled by Sierras sarcasm :D sorry guys

You cannot "move" that dot - it is calculated by the computer and should stay in the same position relative to the locked target (if it stays on straight track). The "trick" is to put the dot inside of the range circle - but when the dot is calculted wrong by the computer there is nothing to be done by yourself...wait for ED

Is the mod multiplayer MP-proof?
