  1. Good mooring everyone, today a quick update on the project status. First off we wanted to share our draft of the SA/RWR pages with you guys. We scrounged all available sources and came up with this plan. We started coding the logic and we are confident to bring you the most complex system out there for a free mod. Also, our art department is working hard on dirtying up our base texture to offer a worn look to our plane. Finally, work continues on the FCS and the EFM, it's been distributed to our testers and is currently being tweaked. That's all for now, stay safe and check six!
  2. Download now available in the first post, enjoy!
  3. We would need more information that that, are we talking base ED stuff or others mods?
  4. Mod development is progressing, we are currently doing test on our EFM. Work is also being done on the RWR and the FCS. Not sure what you mean about "conflict solution side", but if it is regarding the departure of a team member the case was closed and I would refer you to the post he made on our Discord.
  5. Hi all, Since I am a huge fan of the JAS-39 and JF-17 I've created a re-skin of the default JF-17 cockpit to look like the JAS-39. Grey consoles, metal bolts, a new ejection seat, new MFD colors to match those of the Gripen. I've also included new fonts and Hud graphics to push the transformation. These modifications need to be installed in the base install and in the saved game folder. Installation procedure : Download the zip file form the DCS User files Extract the ZIP to your desktop Put the Liveries folder (in the Saved Game folder) in your saved game folder (this location may vary depending on your install, but this is where you put your mods) **Optional** Beware that you will lose the original files so if you want to revert back Make copies Use the fix function Use software like OVGME Put the Mods folder (in the DCS folder) in your based folder (this location may vary, but this is where DCS is installed) overwrite the files Activate the JAS39 cockpit (customized cockpit option) in the special option menu in the main DCS screen. Enjoy
  6. For sure the Eurofighter and A29B will cause conflicts, remove those and try again, do this until you find the conflict Regards Whisky
  7. Hi everyone! We are hard at work and adding cool features to the JAS39 Community mod. In this update, we want to show off our HMD based on the SU33 module. Also in the works: EFM, RWR, Navigation and much more! Stay tuned, stay safe and check six!
  8. Congrats to the developers on the superb mod! This one will definitely be in my top 5!
  9. Good morning @everyone. Today we are presenting our first bi-monthly development report. Since the v1.8.0 release, the team has been working on our own EFM for the Gripen. We are currently using OpenVSP and some white papers to generate the required data points to have a very accurate flight model under all flight parameters. We would like to thank PeeJott (F-104 dev) for his collaboration on this front. We would like to thank also @rudel-chw for his incredible work on our official training tutorials. You can check them out on YouTube channel; we created a playlist that will be updated with each mission. These will be part of our next update and will be available under the training menu. Finally, the team decided to add a Within Visual Range variant for the AA based on the SU-33 avionics to give players the joy of using our HOBS missiles. We also added a new HMD that complements the default one. Finally, we added a new Brazilian skin created by @OMartins, this is one is based on the first serial models of the E variant. That's all for now, stay safe and check six!

  11. It does, the Su25t one, you can hear it but we don't have a way to display it currently. It on the roadmap do
  12. Interesting, when you say 90% for SVR is that the "renderScale" in the openvr_mod.cfg or something else?
  13. There is a specific JAS-39 one that you need to bind.
  14. Did you watch the video, do you have other mods installed?
  15. Hi @everyone v1.8.0 is officially out! Get your new Gripen on our GitHub; don't forget to have a look at the changelog! : https://github.com/whisky-actual/Community-JAS-39-C Check out the launch tutorial, many new things so please listen carefully: Join us on discord: https://discord.gg/zERUgqTKRP Merry Christmas from the whole team! Stay safe and check six!
  16. Good morning @everyone. Today we wanted to share a few shots of the cockpit. During our testing, we noticed that we were missing some normals and roughmetals so we added them. Also, we added the brand-new textures to our base pack: USAF-805 and the SwAF bare metal. Testing continues and is going well, let's hope that the OB slated on the 22nd does not create more conflicts. That's all for this week, stay safe and check six!
  17. The AG will have the Russian white NVGs; now with dimmable they work very well. For the AA version, since the F15 does not have them we don't neither. We are investigating on how to adding them regardless of the base avionics. Whisky.
  18. Good morning @everyone. Today a different type of post, our first tutorial for the JAS-39 Community Mod. Firstly we wanted to show everyone how to use our template to create their own liveries. Please feel free to ask your questions in the comments section on YouTube so that everyone can take advantage of our answers. Download the template here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bUQmxAuzaUPY99OLZp0S1rzuvRuFK3OQ/view?usp=sharing Testing continues and is going well, we are on track for the 1.8 release. That's all for this week, stay safe and check six!
  19. Good morning @everyone. Today we are presenting our last development progress report before our 1.8 release. Development is now frozen and we are currently testing and fixing bugs. First off, a new weapon in the JAS-39 arsenal: the MBDA SPEAR3 and its sister decoy! Secondly, we are hard at work in the cockpit enhancing the right console textures. Finally, we are re-working our liveries; I would like to thank the community @59th_Jack for his Hungarian liveries and @313_Paegas for his Czech liveries. You can try it yourself by downloading the template here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bUQmxAuzaUPY99OLZp0S1rzuvRuFK3OQ/view?usp=sharing That's all for this week, stay safe and check six! https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/896163564648284160/913174299890827315/SPEAR-3.mp4 Hi mate, take this google drive link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1snfW7ngKjLt8SDnkAkA0MkWPQF_-pMUm/view Whisky
  20. That's correct, v1.8 will address bugs that the OB and other patches caused.
  21. Good morning @everyone. Today we are presenting our WIP HUD for the JAS-39; a truly mind-bending piece of technology not seen in any other module currently. The JAS-39 has a curved HUD that gives you the impression of a spherical horizon. Also, our weapons developer is tweaking some of the animations such as on the Storm Shadow. Finally, we are re-working our old liveries to bring them up to our new model standards and now you can try it yourself with our new 1.8 Template! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bUQmxAuzaUPY99OLZp0S1rzuvRuFK3OQ/view?usp=sharing **So when will this be all available? Well the team as started testing the 1.8 build and we are planning to share it with the community for Christmas!** That's all for this week, stay safe and check six!

  23. Greetings @everyone! This week we have a short video showcasing the AAR capacities of the JAS-39-C with a brand new fuel page (very useful!). Since we are implementing a true-to-life start-up procedure we also updated our kneeboards with the proper procedures. We are also working on new MFD pages and adding more features like the alfa and mach on the new monitor page. Finally, we are putting the final touches on the template; have a look at this new texture inspired by the F16 for a fictional USAF JAS-39. Until next week, stay safe and check your six!
  24. Hi @everyone the team wanted to tease you with some updates to the exterior model for even more eye candy such as an illuminated HUD , interior flood lights and MFDs that are actuated by the settings inside the cockpit. We also started work on some other MFDs pages to bring the jet truly to life and to shed that FC3 look. That's all for this week; in the spirit of Halloween enjoy these beautiful night screenshot taken by @shaft! https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/896135425889030185/902912017072009246/Gripen_interior_lights_MFDs.mp4
