  1. That's not the issue, the CLSID was removed from the DLL code, and now PL-12s are UNK and can't be fired

  5. The MFDs of the Gripen and the Jeff are different, you will need to press the text on the screen, for the drone I have no plans to work on that since the focus is the flyable JAS-39

  8. Looks like the last OB update broke several of the weapons in the mod, we are currently working on a standalone version that will hopefully circumvent these issues in the future
  9. Not sure if anyone else had this issue, but I am trying to make Reshade work with my normal DCS bin. It shows up correctly in the VR display on my screen, but when I look into the VR headset I don't see any of the modifications (works in 2d not 3d). Any potential conflicts you guys have seen in the past? Thx!

  11. Hi, I was going to get the extension for my Mk1 base also, was it worth it? Spending close to 100 CAD seems a lot for an 11 cm piece of aluminum. What's your opinion, did it really change your gameplay? Thx Whisky

  14. Hi all, I've tried to use the latest version with the current OB in MT, but I am having this issue with the 3DMigoto Loader.exe I am on W11, all the latest updates are done and I did re-install the MS Visual C++ 2015-2019... any ideas? Thx Whisky

  18. Hi @TOViper, thank you for the testing, I am aware that this issue is the hud. To have the 3D sphere look of the Gripen HUD we need to have very high-resolution TGAs to make it work. The files in question are JAS_HUD_Symbols, PitchLinesNegative, and PitchLines; the two pitch lines files are 10000x10000 pixels so for sure if you don't have a good GPU your system will suffer. I've already tested having dds vs. tga but the graphical quality was not there, same can be said if we re-size the files... the hud just does not look good below 10000x10000. There is a way to make this in code, but since only people with older GPUs were having issues we decided to press on and work on other items. As I said before, it will be addressed once we have the time. Meanwhile, you can try to see if you can find a proper combination between file type, code, and resolution to make it work for you. You can try editing the files in \JAS39\Cockpit\Scripts\Resources\HUD to give you the correct quality/performance ratio that you are seeking. I simply don't have the time to spend on this ATM. Whisky
  19. Optimization will be down the road, the team members wanted to share what they worked on for over a year. Remember that this is a community project that we do free of charge in our spare time. Comparing this mod to the F-16 or the F-14 is ridiculous. You can't really do anything besides joining the team and learning to code and model or be patient and wait until we get to it.
  20. The JAS-39 Gripen DCS mod has received a major update with many new features and improvements. The cockpit has been completely overhauled with new textures, animations, and lighting. The pilot model has been updated, and a new HMD has been added for all variants. There is now a new Within Visual Range (WVR) variant with HMD and weapon cueing. The cockpit now has additional functionalities, including interior lighting, autopilot, and radar controls. The mod has received many bug fixes and improvements, including new engine and APU sounds, fixed control schemes, and improved gamepad and keyboard support. However, there are still some known bugs, including issues with compatibility with some other mods and limitations with the SFM during ground handling and slow regimes. Overall, this update brings exciting new features and improvements to the JAS-39 Gripen mod.
