I’m not trying to be objective, I’m just calling it as I see it. But you don’t intuitively understand my point, and I’m not going to spend time arguing about it in a forum. This whole thread demonstrates that’s a waste of time.

Maybe because it's difficult, if not impossible, to image ED going thru this for anything other than believing they have been wronged by RAZBAM.
-
Yep. Not me. If I came across that way, I apologize.
-
No worries. And for the record, I'm just trying to keep things in perspective as I see it, not to blame anyone. Okay, fair enough. But I imagine EULA takes that into account. The fact that I, and probably most other people, haven't read it wouldn't be an excuse, I think.

I didn't say anything like "you asked for it". More like "that's the chance you take". Yep, no argument here. Of course, I believe the trend toward ever more detailed modules results in longer development time.
-
I would be curious to read what you think determines their legal obligations in this matter.

That’s the risk of buying early access. People who don’t want to accept that risk can just wait until modules are complete. FWIW I buy during early access all the time.

PointCTRL - Finger Mounted VR Controller
Cab replied to MilesD's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Miles I'm really sorry to hear about your health and hope you get better soon. Personally, I can't say enough good things about PointCTRL and think it's the single most important accessory for me when flying in VR. It's so good I think it would be worth considering licensing the design for someone else to produce. Based on my experience, I feel like you'd make some real good money on that, and you've earned it for your innovation.- 3421 replies

From what I’ve read, the LSO position evolved from the early days of the USS Langley.
-
Yes. They’re having a close encounter.

But we aren’t locked out. You just don’t like the changes in their product. And there’s nothing wrong with feeling like that, but it’s not like they don’t have reasons.
-
That's the disconnect: We're customers. Not family and friends. Sorry.

Learning to lock your doors after you've been robbed isn't unreasonable, is it?

Dogfighting is really getting me annoyed
Cab replied to Alphagamer1981's topic in DCS: Spitfire L.F. Mk. IX
This is exactly right. When it came to developing combat skills, the German military was well known for its work ethic and perseverance. Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland, Denmark, Norway, France, Belgium, Netherland, Luxembourg, and Greece. Not to mention short trips to England. Yeah, compared to Germany, the U.S. military, and fighter pilots especially, were just a bunch of couch potatoes. -
Perfect, thank you. Mine is already set to "Latest", so I assume that's due to the Profile Inspector setting.
-
Would you mind posting a screenshot where you’re using this option? I see an option for this, but for me it’s grayed out.
-
Yes, I saw that but hadn’t acted on it yet, thanks

From what I've seen, the DCS default preset is C, so I'm still using the profile inspector.

Yes. Bignewy said Steam pre-purchase will come when they have a release date. That appears to be a Steam requirement.

Ditto! The Mirage III is probably my second highest wish for a module after the F-8 Crusader. Alas, I doubt we'll see either one anytime soon.

Their A-4’s were very successful attacking low-level with dumb bombs. I think they accounted majority of British ships losses.

If you're talking about the HMS Sheffield, it was with an Exocet missile.
