Actually, a spinoff game called Digital Space Combat Simulator, built to the same standards as DCS, would be an immense hit, I think. I’d buy it in a second.

Thanks for the clarification. -

Trimmed for AOA? On-speed trim at 250KIAS? -
As has already been said above, fly AOA not airspeed. If the mission is designed properly, it will be grading you on AOA when it says you're fast.

Would someone who’s seeing this ballooning or excessive nose up post a track demonstrating it? -

Here is a track of gear and flaps being lowered at 250 knots. Flaps go straight to Full. Hornet landing config 250 knots.trk -

You balloon lowering gear and flaps at 250 kts? -
Sales. A lot of us will buy it even without assets.

requested Nose wheel steering and analog brakes
Cab replied to Maxthrust's topic in Su-25 for DCS World
Was this a post-production modification, then? Did the Su-25 originally have a brake lever on the stick? -

It’s not? What is it then? I always assumed it was an abbreviation for Sukhoi. Like “MiG” is for Mikoyan and Gurevich. Now it just needs a proper ADI. -

FWIW I just tried a quick instant action with a clean Hornet. Gear down at 250kts followed by full flaps did not result a pitch up of any kind. It was quite stable in level flight. Update: There is a gentle nose up movement as the jet slows to on-speed, but it quickly settles back even with no trim input. -

300 knots? Just a reminder the gear and flaps should be lowered at 250 or below. -
That makes sense since I don't use those. Thanks

Interesting. Where was this originally posted?

I'm not sure there would be a lot of demand for the S-3 as a paid module.
-
Well, it is better than it was but still needs more work. The good news is ED has acknowledged that.

Sorry, I probably accidentally deleted the “B” when I deleted the rest of your post.
-
Pilots I've heard interviewed, who flew both the Phantom and Tomcat, are unanimous in their opinion that the Phantom was much easier to bring aboard.
-
If you're still talking about the B model, then I wouldn't either. I tend to buy all the new aircraft just to have them, but I think I'd wait for the F-111B to be at least 50% off. The Air Force versions are a different story.

You can always be counted on to have colorful opinions.

Their solution will have to be judged on its own merits. Might be better, might not. We'll have to wait and see.
