If you're still talking about the B model, then I wouldn't either. I tend to buy all the new aircraft just to have them, but I think I'd wait for the F-111B to be at least 50% off. The Air Force versions are a different story.

No it isn’t but I know there’s no convincing you of that. Thankfully, ED disagrees with you too, as they’re actively looking to change (read: improve) it. So, by all means, keep compensating for a flawed flight control model. However, I and others look forward to further improvements.

No one does this. Sellers set the highest price they think people will pay. The inherent value of the product doesn't matter.

So, the company should either, 1. Not offer any upgrades to an existing module for any price, or 2. Provide all upgrades free of charge? If they were depreciating the original module, forcing original owners to buy the upgrade, I'd see your point. But that's not happening here. ED has said players will be able to continue using the F-5 even without the upgrade.

No, the point was that the upgrade as-is should have been free. Fanboys? More like free market thinkers. Unfortunately for you, your only role here is a purchase decision. You seem to think you’re untitled to something for free when you don’t think it’s worth paying for.

Not true. I just re-installed the Mig-15 to verify it still can be done from within the game.

I’m not at my PC, but early reports from my retired buddy indicates the F-5 wing issue is fixed. They can still break, but you have to try. Thank you,ED. Now I’ll buy the update as soon as it’s available. Update: purchased

We all get that, thanks. But “in this case” obviously referred to Bignewy’s comment. Because him referring to his experience as “perfect” for him is meaningless to us without an understanding of his idea of “perfect”.

No, but it does still make it more convenient to install and uninstall mods. Accordingly, I have found it worthwhile to have a separate OVGME profile for the Saved Games folder.
