  1. Yurgon (or anyone) Now that there is a Comm page seems like they deleted the "DTS Upload" screen in the "Load" page for loading weapons. How do we load weapons now? Can't seem to figure that out.
  2. Wow, fascinating stuff. Thanks for asking Yurgon.
  3. It's been my experience that when Wingmen are ordered to attack a target, irregardless of weapon used or target, they will typically fly far too low (unless instructed in Advanced Actions to attack from a specific altitude), get hit by some form of anti-air threat, subsequently call "Bingo" (due to the damage causing fuel leakage), and then declare "ejection".
  4. Perfect. Just what I was looking for. Thank you.
  5. Thanks. I think you're right about the connection problems. The speed test shows good speed but I'm getting crappy real-time connection speeds. In any event, I couldn't use A-10C II at all and was forced to re-purchase last night which solved the problem and I have no idea why the $19.99 price out of all the possible prices. In any event it's back to normal - except for my crappy internet. Thanks,
  6. Was working on my campaigns, logged off, and then logged in a couple of hours later and kept getting error messages that A-10C II Tank Killer (and Enemy Within 3.0 Campaign) was not authorized and will be disabled. Took me about an hour to figure out to delete A-10C II module and then tried to reinstall it but forced me to purchase it for $19.99 USD. What the hell? null
  7. My point also. I think he was a bit low and too close. Thanks ASAP.
  8. I'm very sorry you had a bad experience with this mission. It was a very difficult one to design within the limitations of the game. One point though, had you maintained altitude of Angels 11 (11,000 ft) as instructed by Wizard (to avoid deconfliction) you would have been at a safe altitude to avoid the MANPADs. The MANPADs were there to target the rescue helos not your aircraft. Again, I'm sorry for your frustration and maybe try it again. I've always enjoyed the challenge of this mission flying the "canyon run" at night towards the target area. John
  9. I honestly don't have an answer for you on that one. Never heard of that problem before. If you landed back at Batumi and received the "Good job" message you should have been able to end the mission with the proper score. After completing ANY mission, you should hit your "ESC" key to end the mission and receive your score. I don't know of any green "End Mission" button. I'm not not sure how you are able to cancel a mission and lose progress other than just shutting down the game (DCS World) and losing all your progress that way. From now on, use the ESC key to end your missions. Hope this helps. John
  10. Thank you very much for your inputs. I value and encourage good feedback and take EVERY suggestion into consideration. I may not use every suggestion but I DO take them into consideration. I'm glad you like the campaign. I thought long and hard about how difficult I wanted to make the campaign and decided that most (A-10C) campaigns appeal to more experienced players so I decided to create an environment to challenge beginning to moderately skilled A-10C pilots. In the coming months, look for a significant update to Agile Spear which I am currently testing and "polishing". Again, thank you for your support. John Schiller
  11. Yann, after a brief review you could be right. I dont see any updates of significance at this point. Disappointing.
  12. Point taken and, again, I apologize. On another topic, did you notice that the A-10C II flight manual has grown 200+ pages in the latest Beta release? I think ED also expanded the DCS World manual as well. Gonna browse it this weekend. I really don't know why they keep things like this secret.
  13. Did the DCS World manual get bigger also? And yes, I also had that Falcon 4.0 Manual. I installed it on the computer in my office at the 93rd Fighter Squadron and caused a bit of a stir when a couple of the squadron Viper pilots started it up and flew it. They were very impressed with the realism to the point that after that they would regularly break into my locked office to play the game. Ordinarily I would care but, being the squadron medic (Mako Medic) we had meds stored there so I had no choice to report it to the C.O. and had deadbolt locks installed. Really annoyed them as they would break in after debriefing and down a few brewskies while playing. Good times.
  14. Wow. Great find! NEVER would have noticed it. And the best part? It's almost as thick as the Bible. Light weekend reading. Anyway. Great find.
  15. I'm sorry. A REAL pet peeve of mine is when people who plays games somehow associates said game with "real life" To me, someone who plays a game and then insists that that game is akin to what happens "in real life" is like they've got the experience base to make that comparison. To me, it's the same as Stolen Valor. If your not an American, Stolen Valor is a law that Congress passed when simpletons dress up in military uniforms and pass themselves off as "real life" soldiers. It's (finally) a felony in the U.S. It's really not a big deal to me. If you want to go out in public and take the chance that a veteran will verbally berate you down to a quivering, jellied mass that's their problem. It is a big deal to some people. A VERY big deal and some take it VERY personally. So the point I'm trying to make is that when you (or anyone else) take to quoting "in real life" in reference to this game than you should be prepared to get called out on it. Nicely or otherwise. If you haven't (legally) worn the uniform, lost a body part, a marriage, a family member, a career, or your peace of mind (all of which I have) than I would be prepared to get called out publicly when the quote of "in real life" is uttered by someone who has no business saying that. Nuff said.
  16. Hey, awesome! Thanks alot. I looked there first but didn't see it. Thank you, John
  17. Hello Everyone, Can't seem to figure out how to map it to a button on the throttle to quickly get screenshots for my next campaign. Any help would be appreciated, John
  18. I'm not sure I understand your suggestion of: Why are you suggesting move Red vehicles faster?
  19. That's what I meant. I know exactly what has to happen for weapon employment in an AO. My point exactly. The way the TGP does this little "Hop" thing would most likely result in civilian deaths if not considerable damage. Imagine if a TGP "Hoped" when the (I think it was) Al Zarqawi was schwacked while standing on the balcony in his apartment? It would've been a disaster. The TGP that I have been using with the A-10C II "Hops" with considerable regularity. That's what I was alluding too.
  20. The only way I know of is to go into the Mission Editor and on the top Menu under Flight > Prepare Flight. your flight will be started as specified in the Flight Parameters (in-flight, on the ground, etc). Now you can set the cockpit as you like. When complete, exit and then save the Mission. This method only works within one mission and not with the aircraft globally and does not save EVERYTHING in the cockpit - mostly radio freqs and a few other things. I don't think this is what you are looking for but the only way I know of.
  21. You're right about spoilers. Listen to Wizard's briefing and try again.
  22. Hold off a bit until I've completed my updates. I'll make an annoucement in this forum and The Agile Spear forum when its ready. I don't want to disappoint you (or anyone else) with the campaign as it is. A bunch of weird stuff got broken with the recent DCS World updates.
  23. Yes. Corrected. My mistake. Clicked on the wrong one.
  24. That was my point. To have the cognitive ability and dexterity at that age to play this fairly sophisticated simulation is to be celebrated - in my opinion. What do you mean? I gave him a thumb's up.
