  1. Thanks a lot. With the debug tool it works. I was abour to give it back. PD is at 1.5 and with light stutters with ASW disabled I can live.
  2. Yes, I was watching this reference video too but couldn't get a picture as clear as that. Thanks! I can even run DCS pixel density on 2.0 without stuttering but still hardly readable. I use a GTX1660 with 6 GB RAM. Do you fly the Hornet? Did you manipulate / or crank up the Quest 2 link somewhere in the setttings?
  3. I was buying an oculus quest 2 vr headset because it has technically a better resolution than my broken Rift-S. With Rift-S I could read the text on the displays ok, in quest 2 with link cable and best grafic-settings not at all without leaning forward. Before I return it, I would like to know, if some hornet driver was luckier than me and has readible displays with a quest 2, so that it's worth fiddeling around with this device.
  4. I read that the resolution in Quest 2 is higher than in Rift - S. I flew Rift-S with 1.5 dpi which is broken right now. Should I get the Quest 2 and get a sharper picture a 1.0 dpi because it's native resolution? And what would you recommend comparing Quest 2 to Rift-S in general?
  5. How does SAM sites react on HARM attacs? Do they shut down automatically or move a little like in the MOOSE script? If yes, do average skill units not react at all? Can you give us some insight? Thanks.

  10. I can't make a screenshot in VR, sorry. There is a comon thread where other VR users are complaining too. Start a mission on noon with new cloud overcast in VR.
  11. There is a lightening problem, the MFD are hardly readable when I fly a daytime mission in VR (Rift S) also when I turn brightness knob up. HMD and UFC is ok. It seems also ok on dusk or dawn and night missions.

  14. Great first mission. Some questions: I play open beta. Does it work with that? Do I have to do air refuelling because I'm not good in that. It says mission complete during the flight. Do I have to land after the message for campaign progress? Can I use easy comms?
  15. Would like to map the hmcs power knob on the right board to a hotas knob but I cant find the comand in the controls when i search for the letters HM. Under which categorie is the power switch or which kbd comand is used?
  16. I fly in VR. sometimes when the Aircraft is banking in a turn and I look left or right, the horizon line is not in line with the sea-horizon. Is that normal or a bug or did I miss something?
  17. Assuming you have the TGP on the right DDI, SSS right once to set the right DDI as SOI. Double press the nws/undesignate button to switch to VVCL mode and then double press again to put it into snow plough mode. You can then from snow plough mode slew again. This didn't work. SSS right didn't change anything on the flir-side.
  18. I also had a problem with tgpod yesterday: the first waypoint designate worked ok, the tgpod pointed to the waypoint. I could drop a bomb on the target, everything ok. Then i switched the waypoint iir (propably a waypoint too far above ground), but the tgpod didn't follow. After that I couldn't designate the tpod anymore to a waypoint, also after switching it off and on again / undesignate /designate waypoint / tgpod. I also saw no crosses anymore and slewing was not possible. Very strange.
  19. I'm almost always losing my wingmen because they are running out of fuel. I would like to add an extra 2 reinforcement planes at the beginning of each mission to the blue forces to level this effect out. What do I have to add in your scripts? Everything else works really great, thx a lot for your campaign,
  20. What WP-height should I use best for a medium search of the harpoon when I chose R/BL and medium / low hight?

    Target lock

    press DMS towards the direction of the TGP MFD, so if it's on the left MFD, press DMS left. This will change it to Area, press again to Point, press again goes back to slew.
  22. I'm flying CV71 and it's great - no probs with implementation in Beta-version. Great are the possibilities to customize the mission like night / day, mission types, skip etc. One question: the AI wingmen tend to crash because of low fuel before I can return to the carrier and land. Therefore I quit the mission when I hear bingo fuel because I'm afraid I will lose too much A/C in the war. Can you perhaps ignore these kind of crashes when calculating the losses or is it already ignored so that I can return to carrier and land again ;-).

  24. I want to map a POV button up, down, left, right to two axisses Y an X for the TM Hotas. Can I bind one of the POV-button like a mouse view in Target software to axis, so that it moves not only left - right and up down but also diagonally? I managed to map the 4 directions to a mouse in target and I can see the mouse moving diagonally, but in game I can't map this movement to an axis x and y in DCS.
