  1. That's a pretty expensive way of uping performance. I take your point though.
  2. This is such a cool video!
  3. I had support from them recently as I needed a replacement cable. They sent it out the next day. Their support was all via a whats app support number over text which is a little irritating but otherwise I can’t fault them. That was about three weeks ago.
  4. Anyone know what the purpose of this switch position for?
  5. @Supmua that was very well explained. Thanks.
  6. I am still having problems getting the TDC to slew to the ships in the PG Map instant action mission with my Thrustmaster Warthog. I have been losing my mind all afternnon wondering what the hell I am doing wrong regardless of whether realistic TDC slew is checked or not. @BIGNEWY please have another look. If it is in fact meant to be this way then you would simply never be able to get a lock on a ground target.
  7. Gotcha, thanks.
  8. So is the Omnicept's DFR not going to be available for DCS?
  9. Such a shame, they did such a great job.
  10. Just wondering Jeb, are you flight crew on the testing team? I know you can't discuss too many details but I'm fascinated by this sort of thing.
  11. I think Pimax is sounding like they’re on track. If DCS can push 12k Pimax with my 3080ti, I’m in! Of course even having a chance at this working is going to be dependent on multicore and possibly Vulkan coming through with he goods, here’s hoping but you’ve got to give it to Pimax for at least pushing the envelope. We don’t need anymore 2160 x 2160 per eye HMD tweaks.
  12. I am a massive Reverb fan, you can’t really go wrong.
  13. When I’ve used DLSS in that other civvy sim, instruments and other items look pretty ordinary. Maybe this will be different.
  14. As I understand it, the B52 is only going to be an AI model but it will be great to see it in action particularly in the dynamic campaign along with the flyable Chinook! Wow. Also loved the look of the troops and walking ground personnel. Things are really coming along ED. Avgeek heroin!
  15. I don’t know if that was the cause of my grief, perhaps not. It will simply take some time to confirm whether the problem reoccurs.
  16. Does anyone know if ditching these two "rooms" makes a difference once DCS is up and running or are they dormant anyway......?
  17. Hi Grant, I'm not sure if pushing back in the connector was a fix as it didn't appear that far out of place to be honest but it did move back in a little and hasn't caused any further problems over the last couple of days. Fingers crossed indeed. From what i can see I wouldn't go straight to a "full stripdown" I would simply pull the throttle lever cover off (screws on the inside of side of lever facing oppositte lever) and then have a look at the board and connectors. At least start with that and see if there's anything obvious. Good luck.
  18. Thanks very much for that. Fortunately the sat that I’ve bolted it all to is angled slightly upward. I’ll see how it goes.
  19. That lean you’re talking about, is that because the stick has more weight on the front than the rear. I’m wondering if I could compensate for that by installing it in my chair at a suitable angle?
  20. I was thinking you might say that. I believe I will start my search for a warBRD base. They look like the way to go. Thanks again.
  21. That's awesome, people like me are very lucky that people like you lurk on these forums. Based upon what you're saying it is sounding suspiciiusly like it might be a board then. I screwed the thrust lever cover off today and and I observed that there is a board in the RH thrust lever itself in addition to the main board. For the smaller board in the thrust lever it is possible that I was seeing a slighly lose connector, I've pushed it in a little and I will report further. Thanks again, I really appreciate the tips. While I have got you, is there any stick/throttle combo you would recommend, the warthog has been a pretty decent combo up till now but I know it has a few issues.
  22. Thanks very much for that, I'll have a look. Have you had personal experience with this in the past. My problem is particularly frustrating because it is only intermittent.
  23. Anyone have any experience with the Warthog thrust lever switch 9/10 (just below the standard speed brake switch) having intermittent switching issues that seem to conflate switching with switches 7 and 8 (the standard speed brake switch just above it) and then all of these switches become mixed up. I am trying to diagnose whether this may be a controller fault or a switch fault. I am not quite sure where to start and the setup is long out of warranty. I am open to ideas......
  24. Could be more more than 365 days from today. It was originally slated for release in 2021 if I’m not mistaken. It is what it is.
  25. Yes, I understand that theory, in a general, I'm not an IT kinda guy way, but I'm looking to see what people's practical experience is with this and DCS? Can they be sure it's Windows 11 that's making a difference on a 12th gen processor?
