Inherent Resolve has now been upgraded to V2
andygg replied to Looking Glass's topic in DCS: F/A-18C Inherent Resolve
Hi there Looking Glass. Great campaign but made near impossible in VR due to tiny targets (Helos and VBIED's) with no option even to use dot neutral labels. According to this post this has been updated but this does not seem to have happened in the latest DCS update. Was it missed off the updates? -
10 Missions in with a couple issues
andygg replied to pachuco70's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI - V for Victory Campaign
Did it, finally. Bombed the Bridge shot up the train a bit then ran like a B******D at hedge top hight at max boost until I got clear of the coast. Thankyou for the P47's! Made it home and best of all was offered a nice cup of tea by a WAAF when I landed. Don't tell Margaret! -

I Love the bit where Williams describes Fitz as having LMF. My grandad when talking about WW1 experiences, described pilots who had mystery oil pressure and mechanical failures as "Lacking Intestinal Fortitude" in other words "No Guts". -

I'll give it another go and stay more focussed on getting back alive. I checked on Tacview and no P47's listed. Don't want to create a spoiler but are they only mentioned as a plot element i the script. In other words if I fly at 0 feet at max speed they will give up the chase? -
10 Missions in with a couple issues
andygg replied to pachuco70's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI - V for Victory Campaign
I have hit a roadblock at mission 9. It's like groundhog day I cannot get through it alive. I hit the train on the bridge every time with varying degrees of timing accuracy but the train carries on so maybe not perfect timing. Straffed the train a few times but not succeeded in destroying it completely. Then when I decide I have pushed my luck far enough I start to head home and twice killed by very accurate low level flak and on a couple of occasions made it through that but have been bounced by FW190's who are relentless. Managed to set one on fire but then the other shot my wings off. This is not a whinge, far from it, I love this campaign especially with MT making the whole thing smoother and more flyable at low level. I am afraid I am going to have to use the skip function for this one and move on to find out something that might just change the course of the war in mission 10. -
Mission five clarification required
andygg replied to andygg's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI - V for Victory Campaign
Completed the Jericho raid although my bombing was terrible. Outran the fighters didn't cook my engines and dodged most of the flak. It would be really nice if you could get the navigator / bomb aimer to aim the bombs. He told me steady but didn't tell me when to release! Another brilliant mission and I got a DFC for it! I might give it another go and get the bombs more on target but not for a while. I need to recover. On to Doodlebugs, Buzzbombs and Divers! -

Definitely a DCS MT bug as both the cockpit lights and the UV work fine if I use the ST version. -
Mission five clarification required

I'm going to have a go at it tonight. Did a previous version and it went OK apart from having to pop up to bomb. My bombing is hopeless so I think I probably killed more prisoners than guards. Having the option to bomb at low level will make things a bit easier. -
So far this has been an excellent campaign. Having the same issues with the multithreading version, I E the cockpit lighting. On the last night mission my UV lighting faded too and I was left shining a torch on instruments! Still managed to score hits on 4 of the German aircraft destroying 2 and amazingly my wingman managed to destroy one! Have now got to the Jericho mission and the briefing doesn't really make clear whether or not the second wave follows the same split route as the first wave. In other words, do I fly the approach following the Albert to Amiens Rd with the second section attacking north-south? Once again congratulations on delivering an absolute masterpiece the immersion using VR is intense!

Paco doesn't RTB after refueling (Mission 12)
andygg replied to Starspeed's topic in Bugs and Problems
Paco will head back to the carrier if something happens to the tanker.....(must have been a bird strike) -
@Reflected I have come back to the campaign again to see what has changed. Love the campaign generally but I had the same problem with Turban Red Leader blocking the runway. I am no mission creator, but I think it is because he is waiting to follow Gimlet Red Leader as he is set to do. However, he is leading the mission in this hop! I went into the mission in Mission Editor and changed his take-off designation to take off from runway and the mission ran OK. Usual wild turns etc above the field but once it sorted itself out, we were able to follow Turban Red, in formation.

Bold Cheetah - A 13 Mission DCS F/A-18 Campaign by Sedlo
andygg replied to Sedlo's topic in Missions and Campaigns
Wow @Sedlo! This campaign just keeps giving. Mission 10 is brilliant! Left me in a pool of sweat. Made it but my virtual spinal column might need a bit of Chiropractic realignment LOL. I was feeling pretty good about my skills following 9 and you just put me back in my box! This campaign in VR is visually stunning and so immersive. Outstanding work matey!- 415 replies

I admire your restraint. I would have added "or yourself". But that is why I am not a moderator LOL

The grade shows at the end of the action line in the debriefing screen when you finish the mission.

I am having the same issue. NWS light does not come on either. I haven't done a full check but noticed that backlighting was missing on many of the switches when I was flying.
