Hello LeCuvier, While there are videos and sources stating that the F86s turns better at Low altitude, are you sure which variant they are talking about? The wing with slats or the 6-3 wing? The sabre has better instantaneous turns at medium to low speed but cannot sustain it on the 6-3 wing(which is the one we have in game). The 6-3 gave less drag to the airfram and higher acceleration and top speed compared with the previous sabres. The mig 15 bis is a better sustained turn fighter at all altitudes. On top of it, you are fighting a AI, which has a simplified FM and perfect energy management.

whaa, F16? Lets talk about fighting the contemporary Mig 15. If the mig 15 can out roll you at mach .88, then something is wrong, don´t you think? It is a big deal

The main topic in this thread is the aileron lock up post 0.9-0.95 mach. I invite you to perform the test that reflected has kindly created and posted in his track file. Once you perform the test, tell us that it is modeled correctly.

Agreed. There are a few aircraft that have this feature but the way it´s implemented is poor. An exportable gif, or set of images to a folder would be cool. Optional of course.

This really needs to get fixed. This severely effects one´s ability to pilot the aircraft in a combat environment effectively and i can´t fathom why this hasn´t been a priority on this jet. I have a few guys that have stopped flying the sabre because of it and we want to put in a few MP events with the aircraft of the era.

Yeah I think it should be both the F4E ( seventies version) and the F4J. Sole reason being the opposing side matches that time period. All but the Mig 15, and Mig 19 are from that time frame

Please ED. F4 E and F4 J Phantom. Obviously Phantom everything isn´t feasible. These stated aircraft match well with the current planeset for REDFOR in DCS, being Mig 19- Mig 21 Bis and the upcoming mig 23 MLA (sort of ) Also with the F8J coming in as well , we are looking at mostly post 1968 jets. Title says all. For those who love the Korea Theatre Operations, an AI B-29 should have been included from the very start when the Mig 15 and the F86F sabre were released. This would give this scenario a big boost in playability and interest among the community, where we could have proper missions of B 29 formations to intercept, be it Single player or PvP I´m aware of DOL´s B-29 mod, but it does not behave in a Combat Box formation, unfortunately. P.S: Including it in the WWII pack will not help the Korea 1950´s scenario.

Has there been any movement on trying to fix this issue? The aileron sluggishness is still binary at this point.

It would be nice to fill i the gaps of radar tech for the 50s-70s for the different scenarios. I´ve seen Freya is going to be included for the WW2 pack. Hopefully steering away from the current Real time tracking of targets from the tactical commander slot. Radar units such as : AN/FPS-20 RUs-2 P-3 Dumbo P-8 Knife rest P-15 P-20 etc...

Great event! Best Red Flag event of the 3 I have been on. Also @ the 3rd Fighter wing that was a really cool high alt fight we had. You were trying to drag us low and the high element jump us from above contrail. Meanwhile we were trying to keep the fight high . Real immersive! Definitely be in the next one!

@Maverick Would it be better to restrick GAR 8 missiles from the sabers as this was a weapon that wasn´t used in Korea or even produced during that time. Yeah I know they are shit but it just isn´t really Korea when u include missiles missile IMO

More like a WVR radar missile I´d say. Can we restrict the AIM 9P5? As it´s the only plane to have smokeless missiles
