Bignewy, I hugely respect the work of ED and third parties but man, there are things in the list that are just not there and it is not due to bugs, it is due to not being implemented. There's no defence possible here. A full release should be a milestone, something to celebrate meaning that almost no bugs are remaining and the product is feature complete ready to be enjoyed but nope. Razbam removed the EA label from the Store silently, and this means a lot. Also the statement "EA is not for everyone and you should wait for full release" is not true anymore, as full release is arbitrary and doesn't assure the customer a finished and polished experience. I don't have the Harrier but I suffered the A-8 "release" so I know the pain.

I finally had some time to do the setup and I must say that the app works flawlessly! Except some small things like the radio volume not changing in the game as it changes in the app and the way around. Also, if I may, I would to propose being able to swipe between screens of the same aircraft. For instance, swiping the right of the screen in the Hornet UFC will change to IFEI, another one and you have left/right MFD, and another one for the center MFD. Anyway, thanks for the app, it is great!

Hi! Is VAICOM working properly in the Mig-21 for you? For me, it makes my Radio PTT in-cockpit to stay on all the time so people will hear me over SRS. If I disable VAICOM, all works as intented.

Same issue here with the Hornet.

SSLR is an experimental feature for DCS so it takes more resources than it should. SSLR (Screen Space Reflections) is a feature that has been in games for some years already and nowadays almost all of them have it implemented without any big impact in performance. Even most of the PS4 and Xbox games have it. Hopefully ED will achieve to optimise it.

Thanks Bignewy, happy to see that the clouds are in active development. Rain looks fine enough but the clouds are just underwhelming in 2020. I understand that the competitor set the bar really high but they also have a big budget however, I think that the vast majority of DCS pilots are not expecting that level but just having volumetric clouds with different layers and types and synced in multiplayer. Sharing some of the WIP in upcoming newsletters would be great.

Yeah, it reminds me to Escape From Tarkov. They try to be realistic which I am completely fine with, but then on top of that they add perks and level up with a huge grind that provides a great advantage so the streamers and no-lifers can sprint forever, carry more weight, have no recoil, etc.

I agree, it is the only thing that makes sense and given the several times ED has said that Battle of Britain is planned, there's not much else to confirm. However, while I think that we have a good matching planeset, we don't have an appropriate map for it. I'm sure that ED knows and will give us a central European map in the future. Also one bomber per side would be great (B-25 and Ju-88 ).

Also, are you trying this in Channel or Normandy? Because the Channel map is set at 0ºC constantly due to a bug...

I agree, the only point about getting no tracers is to be sneaky. If the enemy can see them regardless, there's no point introducing them.

I think so as well, another depress on the L&S target will STT designate it.

Wags mentions: "We put the TDC over the target and do an IFF interrogation..." Do I have to push any button or just placing the TDC over the target will interrogate it?

Same for me.

But there's no point undesignating targets as it is not a hard lock and the locked target does not receive a RWR warning. I always have targets soft locked while in RWS and TWS for more situational awareness and you should be used to the same.

Is Disable Menu working for you? I have the option enabled but the menus are still showing up. I'm in the latest beta of DCS.

Being more enthusiastic about what I want, I would like a Battle of Britain plane set for The Channel Map. Then those birds can be used in a Mediterranean/North African map. Also I would love an early Pacific front (Midway/Coral Sea). Being more realistic, please deliver the 109 G-6, then a P-51 B/C, P-47 D-22, and a Me 410. A Central European map would be great as well and will fit this plane set.

Why are you freaking out guys? Even on the current DM I cut in half P-47 and Spifires with the 30 mm without any issue. You are creating a drama from nothing.
