+1 I got the same annoying problem. There are also radiovolume-bindings at the non-axis section, but they are blocked so also not usable...

OK, don't worry about it. I flew the mission again. This time with succes, but the AI again made it funny. This time I managed to kill all enemies just in time when UZI arrived. I didn't however destroy the hangar. So what happened is that UZI-1 landed and sent in the rescue-team, while UZI-2 remained in hover at the LZ. The sidedoor-gunner kept firing at the hangar. After a while the hotages got rescued and loaden into UZI-1. UZI-1 took off. RTB. At that point UZI-2 landed at the exact same spot that UZI-1 was in. I got the RTB, and after I had landed safely and the mission was ended, I f2'd to UZI-2, still at PAPA. (and creeping forward by the way). Yeah, I can understand. I'll try the mission again. Maybe it was a coincidence. For your information, what exactly happened was this: The 2 Mi-8's landed OK, and unloaded the troops which went inside to look for the hostages. At that time, it looked like one of the choppers was creeping forward. As if they had forgotten to pull the handbrake. At one point the rotors (still spinning) must have touched, because I heard UZI say that they were under fire. It couldn't have been enemies, because I had labels on, so I could see that all enemies were dead. Nevertheless I kept receiving the updates from Overlord while they were inside of the building, so the mission was still goiing. Finaly they came outside and went into their choppers. I saw it all happen on my targetpod. I knew there would be an accident, because at this point the choppers were so close that the rotors were intertwining. So when they took off, I saw UZI-1 get airborne, but UZI-2 started wobbling. His main rotor was hit. They were still trying to get airborn though. After a minute or so this destroyd the chopper, triggering the "UZI-2 is down".

Well, UZI still seems buggy... as well as my wingmen. As soon as I tell them to attack, my wingmen, in blind panic, crash themselves into a mountain. Right. They're gone. So on my own I kill every single enemy (I loaded up with some extra weapons before takeoff). The rescue-choppers fly in without any trouble, but at the LZ they land almost on top of each other and as they take off again, they hit each other and crash. Right. Gone too. Mission failed apparently... I understand that you didn't program the AI, but I would suggest making missions that don't rely on it. All in all not a bad campaign. Good voice-actors I think. Nice story. But in VR I couldn't do it without labels on. Just can't find the targets. Maybe I need more practice with the A-10CII. DCS OB, latest version, EnemyWithin 3.0.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but the AGM-88D doesn't give you a clue if you are in firing range. No idea how this is in RL, but it should be on the whishlist nevertheless

When I go to a MP-server, most of the time it presents me with a long list of about 100 aircraft, stationed on different airfields. I have to scroll throught the list of planes (some of which I don't even have installed), not knowing where these airfields are located, only to find out that I can't pick that airplane, because the airfield is out of fuel or something. I would like a filter on this list, for all columns. and a way to order the items. (Kind of like autofilter in Excell :)) Examples: I want to fly the A-10C in the current map. I select A-10C and it only shows me where the A-10C's are available I want to fly anything, but I want to start at Gouadata. I select Gouadata and it only shows me planes located there I want to fly anything anywhere, but I don't need to see the planes that I don't even have installed or that are already occupied Also, multiple selections would be good. For example I want to fly A-10C or Ka-50 on either Gouadata or Kutaisi. Thanks for listening

Well, procdure shoulld be pretty forward: 0] Master arm on, AG mode, set lasercodes corresponding 1] Find enemy in TPOD 2] Set TPOD to area-lock or vehicle-lock 3] Convert lock to target (TDC depress) 4] Switch to MAV-display 5] Uncage (seeker finds target) 6] Arm laser 7] Shoot while seeker is within circle on the display 8] Keep target lased until very dead There shouldn't be more to it. It should not be neccessary to select the TPOD-display again (which is a workaround that actually works). Tonight I will test again. But think about the tracks I made: If I play the track in an older DCS-version, it works fine. If I play the VERY SAME TRACK in the newest version, it won't lock... -

Well, not only I have issues. I read more people in this thread who confirm it. But there is more, although not so obvious... Last time my MAV-E couldn't find the laser of a JTAC. Last time my MAV-F wouldn't lock either. Erratically locking and unlocking. I have seen this bug reported in another post. But I just noticed these things. I didn't test them thouroughly. -

Apparently they unfixed it again... It seems that if you lock a target the laser needs some cooldown-seconds. If you fire within that period the counter doesn't restart so it wil termintate after a few seconds. Something like that. I also don't understand the russian text that appears after the first missile hit. 25 2.trk 25 1.trk 25 3.trk -

OMG !!! So I just watched my own track, right ? First I watched it on DCS 2.5.6.54046. Then I watched it on the latest DCS 2.5.6.55960. If you watch it on the older DCS, the maverick locked fine ! If you watch it on the newest DCS, the maverick won't lock. The first mav will lock fine, but after that, I make an inverted dive towards the targets and try to fire the second mav. If you watch it on the older DCS, you will see that the maverick will lock fine, but I don't shoot. That is because it DIDNOT lock when I was recording it. In fact, I made again a movie where you can see how it went on the newest DCS. -

OK, done that. Problem is..... the mavericks worked fine !!!! Aaaaaahhhh. Well, allmost. I made a SinglePlayer track, in which you can see the 2nd MAV won't fire. I am so hoping now, that it was because of a bug and not that I did something wrong... The track is too big to attach apparently, so get it here: http://www.marctelkamp.nl/SP.trk -

Right ! I have done some more testing. I found that: 1] In single-player the locking works much better then in multi-player. So maybe it has something to do with connection or synchronisation or so. Although the bug still appears in single-player sometimes, it is really noticable in multi-player. (I use a cable-connection, not Wifi). 2] It seems that the first mav fires fine most of the time. It's not realy consistent, but in 99% it is the 2nd, 3rd and 4th mav that wont lock. To demonstratie what I am doing I made a recording I hope this helps. -

Yes. The HUD says ARMED or L/ARM or something. After I press the trigger it switches to flashing LTD/R. So laser is firing. This is bug is very easy to test. Just try to fire an AGM65-E. Don't you have this bug ? -

Yeah, but that's just the bug. Pickle twice or hold the button doesn't make a difference. The mav just won't lock. The mav-trianle on the hud will move to the target designated when uncaged, but it just wont get a lock. That is.... most of the time. Sometimes it just locks and fires like normal, but that is rare. Can't figure out how to bypass this. -
I noticed something was done to the mission. It used to be a cold start. Now it is a hot start. But still no exploding enemy... pitty

Yeah, I found that too. It's a bug in my opinion. Have used many laser-mavericks, but since update I have this issue. Laser is firing, lasercodes are all the same, in A2Gmode, masterarm on, but mav is not firing. I can cage and uncage, mav wil find the laser again but not firing. :( -
In mission 6 you have to hookup cargo, but right after you take off, it tells me to land again because there is something with the cable. At that point the base gets attacked. One of the attacking vehicles explodes, the other just sits there at the gate. An apache flies around somewhat until it hits a tree and explodes too. Now I know (via YouTube) that the 2nd vehivle is to explode and a lot of groundtroops are to attack the base, which I have to defend, but that doesn't happen. Nothing happens. I can shoot the 2nd vehicle myself but still nothing happens...

Horizontally ? There seems to be something wrong with the vertical alignment. So when your target is down the line of sight, and you lock it, you will see the Vhikhr-rack tilt downwards, but in the HUD, the aiming-circle is stuck somehow. This is since the last update sept-30 2020

Don't know about the Su-25's but for the Ka-50 it works fine now, since update 2.5.6.4.
