  1. Hi, Yes, my DCS is Open Beta Stand alone, latest version. In the two folders you mentioned, there is no Default.lua. I'm surprised that you don't have this problem. I thought it was common for the Gazelle.

  3. It seems the flaps-lever is fixed. But the air-intake and carb-heat levers have degraded to binairy or something. Not sure if this is meant to be, or even if it is only cosmetical or not.

  5. Guys, this is still an issue. Could somebody look into this please ? I know there must be a simple solution by editing some lua-files. I just did it with the P-51. But I don't know what to change.
  6. Same problem here, with the orange controls. Not only in the P-51 by the way. I have this in other modules too. Is there a way for users to repair this themselves ? I have this on more modules. Not only the P-51, but also the Gazelle, and probably others too.
  7. After installing 2.7 a few controls don't work anymore, which worked fine before. They occur 2 times in the control-option, in orange, and I can't bind them anymore. I saw this before in earlier versions of DCS but didn't pay any attention to it. But now this is just rediculus. Why can't I get the controls right ? What does it mean when they are in orange, and why do I see them twice ? Most important: How do I get this to work properly again ?
  8. Darn ! I have tried a few times to make a video. But apparently this bug doesn't occur always. Can't get it in singel player. I saw it on 2 seperate MP-servers, but can't get it anymore. Sorry. I'll make a vid as soon as I see it again.

  10. Yeah, but there was also an FXO and Metashaders2 for every map you have. It's on the Programfiles\DCS somewhere... Can't remember
  11. Yeah, I found that too after update 2.7. With the mouse, you can set the 2 handles however you like. With bound controles it's only full front or full back for both handles. And as with the flaps-handle, I don't know in the handle-setting actually sets the ram-air or carb-heat setting... Watch from 4:15
  12. This bug seems to have reappeared. I have done some strafing lately, in 2.5.6. No problem then. After update to 2.7 the gun-reticle in AG-mode is off. When close to the ground, the reticle jumps down a few degrees, just before or after it says "In range". Thee bullets overshoot the target, When you pull up, the reticle jumps into place again.

I doubt is the actual valve-settings correspond with the handle-setting I even made a movie:

  16. The FA-18 gun-reticle in AG-mode jumps up or down when you reach a certain altitude, low to the ground, about the moment it says "In range". The reticle doesnot indicate where the bullets will hit.
  17. So I solved it myself. After Matt told me that I could finnish the mission, I didn't and killed some more enemies. After that it was ok. Still a bug. And by the way, the two choppers that appeared and had to be taken care of, they E.O.A. (Exploded on arrival). So that was convenient, but also a bug I guess

  19. So what do you think of these ? The first one (with "dogfight" in the name), I did a nice dance with the FW109. I think I hit it quite a few times, but it kept on flying and fighting until the last. The other file is the same mission, but now I just fly straiht and let the german get behind me. I don't know if the trackfiles show how many bullets actually hit target before it burst into flames ? So is the damage-model broken or what ?   20. It was a very secret ww2-plane ! No, but either one. Problem is with the P-51 I think. It's bullets just don't do much damage it seems, while a few rounds from the enemy is enough to put it out of commission. Maybe it is my imagination. Maybe it is as it is supposed to be, but no matter how good a dogfighter you are. You just don't have enough bullets to take out 2 enemies...
  21. Regardless of track, it is true (and has been for a long time now) that in most planes in DCS, a few rounds are enough to sever a wing or at least set fire to the engines of your enemy. In the P-51, I can land half a magazine onto a FW-109 for instance, before it becomes more or less unflyable. Seems a bit odd. I'll try and find a track if that is what's needed to convince anyone.
  22. The P-51 comes with a Challange-campaign. In the mission "Packing it all together prt 1", I kill a few enemies, and I hear Matt Wagner say that I am free to end the mission and continue to the next and final one. But when I end the mission, the campaign doesn't go forward. It keeps on going into this mission again.
