What frustrates me is that Q1 was communicated. Eventually April 15 as a definitive days and the first promotion video was shared. Same day as expected release there is a message somewhere on the forum that there is a problem but as far as I know nothing official after that. At least not anything that is easy to find. What is the status? Will it be released tomorrow, next month or in half a year? I have no clue what so ever.

I don't really have an overview of the different DCS products, what is the usual timeline going from EA to release? All I know is that everything I fly is stuck in EA with little progress or urgency (at least on the surface) towards release state. This is what makes me worried when reading that we might need to wait for EA to end before expect compatibility.

The new FCU looks good Miles. Great work. Regarding development, are you still working on adding buttons to the headset? Any chance it will eventually be possible to purchase only firmware update for that and build the button box ourselves? Mainly to lower lead time and shipping cost.

Basically, ATC for carrier is bugged and broken. Guess we have to wait for super carrier for it to be fixed. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=260775 In My experience, after declaring inbound I usually get a vector to the carrier. When within approx 5 nm Stennis gives BRC and some additional information.

Same thing for me. Quite annoying that the throttle move by its own and at the same time is sticky and has high resistance to moving unless jerked backwards and forward to warm up the lube.

Any known way to trigger the lights? For now it seems like I occasionally get the lights to turn on but mostly not. I have difficulty to lign up properly.

Well, that explains my confusion. Hope it will be fixed before module release, current state makes no sense and I don't expect the new carrier to be released any time soon.

Hi, How do the procedure look in DCS to land on a carrier? I used to be simple, call Stennis with intention to land and then request landing when flying close, I usually did it when flying parallell with hook down. This seem to have changed and I don't understand or have been able to locate any documentation on what I need to do now to trigger more radio calls after approaching. It cant be that difficult as there seem to be limited questions about it. Thanks in advance.

Also in VR, or regardless i guess. I constantly go wrong under pressure when trying to keep track of a target, open the menu and press the 30 deg on the left side and then we turn away from the target. It would be wounderfull with 10 deg left/right at 11 and 1 o'clock, 30 deg left/right 10 and 2 o'clock and so on.

I have not seen any difference since first release. Hurry up and move before hitting something nearby, after that start alignment while trying to hit the right buttons in the back seat. Hooking up helps though. As I understand it the f18 was similar when first released.

Pretty much not that usable then as the jester menu pops up centered in the cockpit and you have to look at it, at least in VR.

How do you get the planes to spawn on the elevator? When I created a mission my planes spawn on the flight deck. Someone suggested that they will do that in SP but not in MP but when I loaded the mission in MP everything was the same as in SP.

I can’t wait for this addition. Is there any news other than that it has been indicated it will be available before F14A? Also, more urgent probably but not the responsibility of Heatblur – is there any news from ED about better ATC?
