  1. What does this screen say for you (should say Connected): Also, you should have something like this in the log page when you start up the application:
  2. Did you open the Jetseat Control Panel? Make sure you are in USB and not Sound mode. You can also test the motors there just to make sure you're getting some kind of response.
  3. I think they would have attracted a lot more interest with a standalone throttle option. You see time and time again that that's the product people really want. A lower cost unit with a cut down panel would be quite competitive with Virpil.
  4. Well that's just not true, since I use a 1070. You have to settle for lower settings, but it's still very playable and looks good.
  5. I have everything routed under my desk so a bulky extension in the middle of the run would be a pain to deal with.
  6. Hi Andre, What is the diameter and polarity of the power plug in the jetseat? I want to get an extension.
  7. Sorry, I meant it depends on your actual, physical IPD (i.e. the actual distance between your pupils). Lower IPD results in a larger FOV in the same headset, so the mask size has to be bigger to compensate.
  8. There is no one-size-fits-all answer because it will depend on your IPD. I use a Rift S now, but iirc, I used about 0.61 or 0.62 with the CV1. So start there and keep bumping it up until you can't see the rings.
  9. I needed the same part a while back and all the ones I found on part sites had too wide a flange. I ended up buying flangeless connector and using heatshrink for a friction fit. You're right, it is a 5 pin mini DIN. You could try contacting Thrustmaster. This site has a parts list for Cougar parts, and I think it has what you need: http://www.cougar.flyfoxy.com/warranty_parts.php Part 32 5 pin connector F16-32 Looks like the site sells them as well.
  10. The NDA says you can't talk about the game. I don't think answering "Would you rather play MSFS2020 flat or another sim that looks worse but has VR" qualifies as breaking it since we're not revealing any details about the actual game. Anyways, for me it is not worth it. Nothing can match the feeling of being inside your plane.
  11. A few places have it for preorder and it seems to be about ~200 euros, so very reasonable price. It is ABS plastic however, so not metal like you wanted.
  12. Not out yet, but coming this year: https://flyhoneycomb.com/bravo-throttle-quadrant-2/ Their yoke has been getting good reviews.
  13. Hmm you mentioned if it's the 1 cam per axis. The VKB T-Rudders have the same issue for the same reason. Pretty annoying.
  14. I have mine at 1 now. Everything is much brighter with this update, even during daytime.
  15. While in the module, press the little refresh button next to the profile drop down menu. That should load the profile for the module you're in.
  16. Go read the Realtus thread. Most people have not received theirs after months and months of waiting and keep getting the runaround. Get the Jetseat from Andre. It's a bit of a wait but you'll get what you ordered.
  17. I ordered mine from X-Plane. Took just over a week to Canada. Should be even faster in the US.
  18. I don't have the box handy, but it's a very small cardboard box, not much bigger and taller than the rudders themselves. They come partially disassembled to make them even flatter. I was surprised by how small the package was.
  19. I think it's worth it. It actually feels pretty well made with solid materials and stitching. And the design makes it easy to get inside to fix things should anything go wrong. It really adds a whole new level of immersion to flying. All the individual effects are quite distinguishable from each other so you can feel the rumble of the engine, the bumps in the ground when taxiing, thumps of the landing gear as it gets stowed/released, etc. It's an especially nice addition to VR to increase the immersion factor. Definitely not as fun to play without it.
  20. Can anyone confirm if this works with the latest open beta after deleting shadows.hlsl? Didn't work for me...
  21. I can't get analog slew to work at all. Have it bound to the ministick on my TWCS throttle. No movement at all. Using buttons or keyboard keys works fine. edit: not sure if your issue is the same but I figured mine out. Analog slew only works if the radar is not in standby.
  22. Are you sure you don't feel them vibrate during the test? Even though the jetseat has 8 motors, it treats 4 of them as two "motor groups" so to speak. So pushing the test button for those motors (5 and 6 iirc) you should feel 2 motors on that side vibrate in the seat.
  23. Yes, stick shake, but also force change depending on airspeed; basically any effects programmed in the module inside DCS. If that's not important to you, then it might work for you. It also offers some constant damping and friction forces to tweak how the stick feels. I use a jetseat as well and I love it. Really adds to the experience. I'm using an MS FFB2 modded with an extension and F-22 grip and the resistor mod to double motor strength:
