Ok, then I think I had the wrong UHF tuned… I took the one written in the briefing, think thats only Nellis... I will replay the first two missions then, Need to practice Formation flying anyway. ;-) Thanks for your work!

So I just flew Mission 2. It was counted as successful, i had the "press spacebar" comms all working, but during flight Springfield did not talk to me. Is this normal or what did I miss? Radion was on and frequencies according to the briefing...

Is it done? No. That is why it is called "early access". Will it ever be done? Yes! And till then Im enyoing the possibility to practice with the Viper and be somehow part of its Development. Im very happy with the Viper so far, so thank you ED and keep up the good work!

Hey guys, Im struggling with Mission 7 (I think).It is the one where you have to take down the bombers attacking the city. Even when I go full burners I manage only to take down half of the bombers and the Mission fails... I cant even recognize the second bomberflight. And everytime I try to lock someone Jester tells me its friendly even if I recognize it as a MIG. Any tipps how and where to stop the bombers? Edit: I passed the Mission now! I was using the backseat to identify the unknowns as hostile and fired my phoenix from far out...

Everybody seems to be happy... But you ruined it!!! I was happy flying the A10c and the Hornet, I really was. I couldn't fly the Tomcat because I played on my laptop with a little screen and wasn't able to read the instruments properly. Now I have a new system and gave the Tomcat another try. Oh boy... I can never go back to where I came from, those other planes feel just so boring. The F-14 is just amazing! And everything feels like I imagined it would feel in a real jet. So thank you for ruining the A10 and the Hornet for me. I will never go back to them. It's Tomcat, baby!

Hey guys, I did two of the HB F14 missions. The very first one on persian gulf and the first one on the caucasus map. I did 6 or 7 kills, but they are not recorded in the Log. All that changes are the number of landings Anybody know why?

This question might sound a bit weird, but honestly: How do I use the rudders properly? I played a lot with the A10 and the Hornet and never used rudder pedals since I didn't have them. For taxiing I used the keys on the keyboard and it was more or less fine... After switching to the Tomcat flying the A 10 or F 18 feels like driving a bus... Pretty boring compared to the cat, so I decided to stay with the Tomcat. And I heard a lot of times that you have to have rudders! Rudders are a must for the Tomcat! But. Why? Despite taxiing I'm still not doing any pedal work. So what am I missing? How to I use the pedals to have maximum benefit?

Tried another mission and everything was fine...

The mission starts already on the cat. Tried it several times, didn't work.

Hey everyone, found a weird problem: I tried one of the missions for immidiate action (persian gulf, 1998 ) I am lined up on the catapult, bird is hot, free to takeoff. I increase the power, press LShift + U, I Salute, but nothing happens! What am I missing?

Ich bin mir nicht mehr sicher, was es bei mir war: F/A18 Interceptor oder Falcon, beides für den Amiga 500... Hab mir Grad beides auf YouTube angesehen, nachdem ich ne Runde am Persischen Golf geflogen bin... Die Grafik ist heutzutage schon der Hammer! Und für die Statistik: (noch) 38...

Hi guys, I'm doing a lot of training with the harm at the moment. If I use the weapon in SP Mode everything works and 3 out of 4 times I get a hit. When I switch to TOO I can't release the missile, so I guess I forget something. I have the Display for the Harm selected (diamond is there), the target ist selected (box around target + box visible on HUD), master arm is on, AG is selected, but the Harm on the display is crossed out. What am I missing?

Während ich am Anfang die Grim reapers echt gut fand, muss ich jetzt doch sagen, dass vieles sehr verwirrt und verpeilt rüberkommt. Gerade so, als ob er es selbst zum ersten Mal macht. Die Battlereports von denen sind super und auch sehr unterhaltsam, wertige und schlüssige Tutorials schaue ich mir fast nur noch von Spudknocker an. Der Kerl ist großartig!

Nevermind. When I opened this thread I was pretty sad because as I said I was expecting "more". Anyway, I'm enjoying the A10C a lot..Very happy that I bought this module and Im looking forward to the coming training campaign! :thumbup: Just did my first ILS landing. Jesus, you really need trust and faith in your Instruments! :smartass:

I tested the missions again by myself, without touching anything before being told, and the navigation mission still doesn´t work: - press "Spacebar" but you need the trigger… - Jumps voiceovers - Plays voiceovers from the beginning out of sequence in the middle of the Mission - doesn´t recognize TACAN Input, so I´m not able to finish the Mission And since I´m using a Hotas Warthog I´m not confused with the bindings, since I press exactly the button that is asked for. Edit: German version of the game, so maybe there is the difference with the voiceover...

Yepp, I'm on it. Crazy though that after I bought the Tomcat to Beginn with I almost immediately switched to the Hornet and now the Hog seems to be THE plane for me...

So I managed to get a look at the switches I needed. For me, as an absolute noob on the A10C this Mission was an excellent experience! Great immersion, had a lot of fun playing it, and I guess this was the best landing I ever had in DCS! Really awesome, Looking Forward for the Campaign! Seems like the A10C was a good purchase after all...

How can I move the camera sideways, so that I can look at the switches that are hidden beneath the throttle? I tried to map a binding for this, but that doesnt work...
