Hey guys, I have a small issue and I don't know what I'm doing wrong, so maybe you can help me out: After landing on an airfield using the approach mode I can not get back in my regular flight plan if I decide to take off again. If I switch to Nav Master mode I get my approach mode again, even if I click on flight plan a on the ufc. Only way to work around for me is to go to the A2G mastermode and select the waypoints manually. Then I have them visually on the HSD (but no steering que, or any indication on the HUD) and as soon as I switch to Nav Master mode I'm back in approach. What am I missing?

Just wanted to start a thread for this awesome module as well: Really guys! You did an amazing job! I don't know why I ignored the Thunder this long, now after 2 days of intensive training I'm absolute in love with it. It feels very smooth to fly, interesting weapons and the resolution of the Tpod is just mind blowing! And the plane feels "complete", I can do what ever I want: SEAD, CAS, CAP, Antiship, Strike... You name it, the JF is ready. Very well done! Who ever is not sure about getting it or not: Do it! This module is top tier, without a doubt!

I will certainly do if the Thunder will be taking part in this "Free for all" event. Not sure though if it does. Tomcat for example can't be tested for free... Edit: Just read the news here. One week is fine for me. So I know what i will be downloading tomorrow....

Hey guys, I was only digging into western jets, but damn, this JF 17 looks very nice! I was watching some YouTube videos and it seems that this module is pretty well done. My last purchase was the Viper, and we all know how this release went and in which state the Viper is even at this moment. So I was wondering how the Jeff is doing and if it is a viable purchase for me, that I can use for my biggest interests SEAD and strike. Thanks.

Dear ED, thanks for all you did so far and for all you are doing in the future! I love you guys and can't tell you how thankful I am that my hobby is still alive. But you should do yourself and all others a favour: Shut this forum down. This whining and complaining all the time is ridiculous. Keep us informed via a homepage, and all is good. Can't even count all the whining threads in this forum. As if the world would end... and I'm not even starting with the fact that most (not some) don't understand what "EA" means. Still.

Yes, easier way. Also possible with the steam version, if you are using this.

You don't have to do beta testing. You just use the non polished product. If you want to report bugs, you can. If don't, then don't.

Just switch to open beta for yourself. I have never played "stable" only "open beta" ever since. No complaints, and you get the good stuff first... maybe a bug here and there, but as mentioned before no real "showstoppers" :smartass:

@=Decoy= Can we expect some news in the near future about your plans since there are a lot of rumours running around? Or is it too soon yet to say anything?

I´m talking about the controls. They don´t feel as smooth as they are in the Hornet, for example.

Did you "uncage" the Mav?

I was asking myself if I should get the Harrier or not. And with all this negativity around here I wasn't sure if I would ever buy it. Now with the sale I thought "now or never" and bought it. It feels so different to other planes! Really cool, and I'm happy I purchased it finally. Only thing that I really don't like is the slewing of the tpod. Feels very strange compared with the Hornet, Viper or Warthog. But I like the module! If you are interested in the Harrier go get it.

So is the F 15 still a thing for DCS or not? Edit: Just read in the news for 2020 that they are working on it. Any word when they are planning to release?

I switched from Steam to Standalone as well. My pre-release is also not listed in my ED Account. So I guess we just have to wait till release and then it will be fine.

Yes, me too. And before this update the TPod did not change position...

Really not very enjoyable: If you try to set several targets up (e.g. JDAM in TOO), as soon as you press the "undesignate/NWS" button to go to the next target, your TPod goes back to its "caged Position" Therefore it is almost impossible to set up multiple targets in one run…

The last update was really a huge step back talking about usage of the Tpod The slewing away from your search area when you hit "undesignate" makes it super complicated to do several Drops in one approach. I really hope they will fix this soon, not very enjoyable at the moment!
