I only use track ir, but guys I know play with their VR goggles and a proper Hotas... or do you guys play DCS without a Hotas?

I'm working on my refueling skills, and I think it would be pretty nice if the tanker not only tells you which angels he's at, but also which speed he is traveling. That would be a great help, in my opinion...

+1 Sometimes it is really hard to read the DDIs due to the sun. So it would be very nice if we could use our headmovement to get in the way of the sun for better readability.

On Steam you should have received a voucher in your inventory that adds to the price before purchase if you own the hornet. So with the pre-sale discount and the Hornet discount you should be around 26 $/€ for the module.

While I do understand that some people don't want to pay for something they're most likely not using, I do not understand while your own squadrons don't support you. Example given: We do a lot of downhill riding and shoot our runs with gopros. One of the guys is not into biking that much, but he is good at video editing. So we all gave some money for him, that he could get a better video software, and now he is doing our videos. If you are doing missions for a whole BIG squadron, how hard can it be to collect the bucks for the carrier and donate it to you, since you provide them with missions? We are not talking about hundreds of dollars... of course this does not solve the problem for mission creators without a squadron, but I do understand that ED needs the money as well... If I would be in a squadron, I would support my mission scripter without hesitation.

Even if it doesn't work with the old missions, who cares? I mean we had plenty of time with the "old" carrier, and now we are about to step in a new area. And to be honest: I can't think of any Hornet or Tomcat pilot, that doesn't want the new carrier. I mean we love carrier ops, so why don't step up to the next level? This will be a great experience and within the blink of an eye our cool guys that create our missions will support us with new, amazing missions.

Hi all, after some time in the Viper I came back to the Hornet. Wanted to try some LGB with the litening pod, but somehow I´m doing something wrong… I set my Tpod to the Right DDI, found the target, pressed "sensor select switch" right again, to go into Point track mode. Still my target (or lets say SPI, according to the slew of a mav) was not the one I put the Point track on, the SPI was somewhere in the middle of nowhere, so I switched to the LGB. Master Arm on, Air-to-Ground, bomb selected, Mode "Auto", MFUZ "Nose", EFUZ "INST", QTY 1, MULTI 1. I got a piper line and a Countdown, but "Auto" stayed crossed out, so I couldn´t release the bomb. With MFUZ "off" I could release the bomb, but it hit far away, although I was lasing with my pod (Code both 1688, TRIGGER on Flir DDI boxed, Info in Flir that I´m lasing) So what am I doing wrong in regard of the wrong SPI and the crossed out "Auto"?

So ein Käse. Jetzt hab ich mich grad auf die F16 eingeschossen, und dann kommt so ein "Anschmecker"... Seit ich die Viper fliege, kommt mir die Hornet zu träge vor, daher muss ich wohl wieder auf die Tomcat... Aber die ist mir doch zu A2A lastig... Oh mann! Irgendwas ist halt immer... :-D
