  1. That xaudio2_1.dll file is part of the directx9 that FC2 installs. Reinstall the game or download and reinstall directx9 from Microsoft website: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=0cef8180-e94a-4f56-b157-5ab8109cb4f5 Do you have FC2 installed inside "/program files" folder? in Vista and W7 it's better outside.
  2. Or go to /config/graphics.cfg and edit maxfps=0 to maxfps=60.
  3. Google: windows 7 rebuild icons
  4. Yeah, thank UBI for that. They just said: hei buddies, I want money without even moving a finger lol, do what it takes I don't care about customers! XD BTW the russian version doesen't need it, because UBI has no rights over it, 1C distributed it I think.
  5. You need the directx9 update when the game installs. Don't worry, it won't override your directx10 or 11.
  6. Search google about rebuilding icons for your windows version, there are various methods.
  7. They move in my pc (single and multiplayer), do you have mods? (if you have A-10 simmod, use Skypat's package)
  8. nah, that's topographic shading, new UI (launcher.exe) doesen't have directx render (neither encyclopedia objects rotate), it uses opengl and it's just 2D. But, once in cockpit (simulator.exe) you have directx render, if you press F-10 map then you have the option of satellite at top right.
  9. Edit .lua files only with Notepad++, not regular notepad. It's free download.
  10. oh well, worth a try :) pity I don't have a quad core :(
  11. You don't need to set affinity manually anymore in DCS (since patch 1.01) and FC2, it will take all cores by default. No need to leave core 0 without load, imho, except perhaps if you use Win XP, in that case best suggestion is move to Vista/W7.
  12. No third party upgrade. You'll use 2 cores but only because sound engine now is multicore. Other parts of the game will use just 1 core in XP.
  13. I always reply for everybody who reads the thread. You're welcome.
  14. When you bought it, did you recieve a mail about the transaction? usually from protx.com If you didn't, then perhaps you just wrote a wrong email when you registered. Try to post in http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=63
  15. The .miz file is really a zip file, open it with winzip, winrar, etc. and you'll see :)
  16. Stutters are often related to not having updated motherboard drivers, specially chipset and SATA. Go to your motherboard vendor website and download the latest ones, don't rely on the ones Windows automatically install. Do the same with integrated sound and network drivers. But, in any way, Vista or 7 will give you a 20% to 50% boost of fps vs XP with multicore cpus. Having different partitions for Windows, games and even the swap file (virtual memory), all defragmented, also helps with stuttering.
  17. Your cure is Vista or W7, huge boost of fps for those games. I'm not gonna get tired of saying this XD yes you can find myriads of benchs and charts about it in the forums.
  18. Integrity check fail it means you have some mod or corrupt file. Also, if you edited a .lua with notepad it might be corrupted. Used notepad++ (free download). Also watch out using FC1 mods in FC2, doublecheck all are verified for FC2.
  19. Strange thing here. When I play the F-15 quick mission, the M818 truck that is in the airport appears with a low detail LOD (lack of texturing in wheels, the rear part, etc in brown color). If I make a new mission and I put there an M818 it appears correct. It just happens with that quick mission. Both M818 as an unit, not static. I've made a backup of the quickmission and edited it, putting more M818, and still continues showing with a low LOD. I have "use these options for all missions" active. I've uninstalled the mods I have and still continues with this behaviour. Picture: http://www.escuadron69.net/varios/glitch.jpg EDIT, FOUND: it's the E3A AWACS that's giving the problem. Delete it from the mission and M818 returns to full textured. Put both models in any mission and you got a glitch there. Confirmed by another pilot. WEIRD! I've been in a mission without E3A and seems there are other models conflicting with M818 but I have not identified yet. DxDiag.txt
  20. FC2 should be faster than LO:FC in the majority of PC, so perhaps there's something wrong on your computer. Check latest graphics drivers (nvidia 197.13 for desktop nvidia, 197.16 for laptop ones). Check you have the latest directx9 (they are update if you let FC2 installator upgrade them). Check you don't have FC2 installed in C:/program files. Check antivirus, create an exception for FC2 folder.
  21. If you have one of those then I advise you not to upgrade to W7 but Vista instead or you might run into flickering problems with menus.
  22. Havent noticed any of this. Tracks seem to play correctly in my computer.
  23. Because it's not a video, it's a recreation of what you did, so all the IA and flight physics are calculated in real time like when you flew, so if you accelerate time, you need to calculate all this faster. This is why your fps go down.
  24. Wich Ati do you have? perhaps you could upgrade to latest drivers (I think 10.3, not 100% sure as I have a nvidia)
  25. If you open the .miz file you'll see that this mission in particular has a bunch of folders and files, for example server.lua file in it so you custom view won't work. Don't know why this one has those folders, perhaps it has an introductory track. The options you keep if you have checked "keep these settings for all missions" are not those you mention, because those are really tweaks, not gameplay options. You can try to change the server.lua inside the .miz, or even delete it. Don't know that kind of missions, never seen anyone equal.
